Overall top three best pies we've had since moving out East and affordable! Had an order of garlic knots which were perfect sized and perfectly seasoned. We also had two heros. I always call for a delivery the food is amazing every time, a women with short hair delivers and is always so pleasant at the door. I've been wanting to order form La Bistro for awhile because of the great reviews. We typically order from another place down the street in Selden, but after the delicious pie we received last night from La Bistro we will definitely be switching pizza places! I always order my pies well-done (a little crispy) and La Bistro delivered as ordered (which is surprisingly difficult in the Coram area!) The only thing I was disappointed about was the delivery charge and the hour plus delivery time. But it was worth it! I only got a cheese pie, but it was fabulous. I'm not one for reviewing pizza places. They are a dime a dozen out here. There a few stand outs. This one stands above them. The first thing I noticed was how friendly people are in there. This makes a difference. There are other places around that that is not the case. Beyond that, the pizza is really good. They have a good selection of specialty pizzas, which I here are good. I always base it on how well they do a plain everyday slice. It's very good. Not greasy, the crust is nice and crispy. This place seems to be a hidden gem. I recommend it highly. read more

This is probably the worst place you could get food from. They missed three things from our order the first time. Came back with half of what they missed. Thirty minutes later got the rest of the order...sautéed spinach had at least 10 cloves of garlic, a handful of spinach and a lemon sticker. Not to mention the small pebble in the salad. This place came highly recommended so we decided to try it. The first time we ordered a pie half meatball, half pepperoni with dinner rolls (the stuffed garlic knots with mozzarella cheese). They were really good. It only gets four stars cause we ordered it on a Friday night and when we got there, they apparently forgot to make the pie (they were really busy) so we had to wait a while and the dinner rolls weren't hot anymore when we got home since they were sitting on top of the oven for a while. We decided to give them another shot because the food was good and the dinner rolls heated up the next day were fantastic. This past Saturday night we ordered a pie half BBQ chicken and half buffalo chicken with regular garlic knots. This was also very good and didn't have any problems. This may just be my favorite pizza spot EVER!!! The dinner rolls are the best knots I've ever tried. I must point out, it says they are oversized knots which led me to think they were very big but they aren't at all! Definitely very filling nonetheless. I always ask for marinara sauce on the side (no extra charge) and it's delicious. So far, I've tried the white, Sicilian, and Cajun chicken slice. No complaints about anything. I work road construction and since i've been in Long Island, i've had pizza from about 20 different places being i stay in a hotel with no way to cook myself anything, not to mention that i loveee pizza. I've been trying to find the best pizza in the area, and i've found it. There is a lot of decent pizza spots in the area but La Bistro takes the cake. I've had a whole pie, and i have had slices. The whole pie lost its crispiness a little by the time i got it back to the hotel, i suggest having the slices while you are there. The margherita style slice is my favorite. Im not much into specialty slices but i did try the cajun style shrimp slice and that was very good. The reason i love this place so much is the crust. They do something different, i dont know how they get that crisp on the bottom, but its awesome. Im going to miss this place when im gone. read more

Called 3 separate times to check on status of order. 1st Call after 90 minutes: order was about to leave. 2nd call after 2 hours: order was on the way. 3rd call after 2 and a half hours: they had to remake our whole order and it would be arriving shortly. Lasagna was legit soup and inedible (pictured as well). Chicken francaise was tasteless. Meatball parm was barely edible. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Will not order from here again. Ps. We have ordered multiple ways, and always end up with the same result- SOMETHING in the order is either missing or incorrect. The staff are too distracted by the music playing, plans for the weekend, or they're simply not attentive to the job they are being paid for. Every single time. This evening's order was placed via their website, it was delivered lukewarm (at best), and missing their advertised Buffalo garlic knots. When I called to explain that they were missing (because we expect at least one thing missing when they deliver), they said they'd send them out only to call back moments later to state they didn't have the product. From order time to delivery time was an HOUR. They hadn't noticed that they didn't have an item on the menu during that time? In addition, when my husband and I stated that something is always wrong, or missing, or they need to be reminded before we leave the restaurant, all Mike replied with was, "I'm sorry." Long story short, we will be finding a new pizza place. It isn't worth the constant aggravation. read more
