When I called to book an appointment the masseuse who picked up the phone kept cutting me off and wouldn't listen to what I was asking her first before I booked my appointment. I am a customer and customers questions must be answered first for clarification as it is rude to not allow a guest to ask for clarification in the first place. There are a few things I need to have clarified. 1. Are abdominal (belly) massages included with the massages? I need this included. 2. What types of facials and body scrubs are offered? 3. Will the massage therapists actually follow exactly what I tell them to do for the massage? Thanks. Please respond and answer clearly.

I pulled my shoulder at the gym from lifting so I'm glad they do "Sports massage" which basically focuses on the area that needs work on. The first time it hurt like hell but so worth it! I came back a few times more the following week and felt so much better! They advise you to drink lots of water after a massage otherwise it's pointless. Still a regular at this place, they even have male masseuses working here and they focus more on sports massage and deep tissue. So my normal routine is to go to the gym a bit earlier and run here to get a massage at least 2 -3x a week. Best to call because they do get booked pretty quickly!

After my family member completed the form, she was taken to the back by a pleasant woman. I asked what time I should come back to pick up my family member and she was ready at the time they told me she would be. When I asked her about her experience she told me the lady was nice, professional, and knew her stuff. She also recommended some products for my family member. The really cool thing about the experience was that I immediately saw a notably nice different in my family members face/skin. Overall the vibe was cozy and warm. Elina has been working on my face for the past year and she has done wonders to my face and skin in general. So far, thanks to her facials, peel and laser procedures I got rid of terrible breakouts I had all over my face. I don't even need to wear make up any more, just a little bit of special treatment makeup which gives my skin smooth and glowing look. I also got laser hair removal done there. Elina did the procedure. It was fast and after the first time, I almost don't have any hair growing in that area. I will do it again soon. I highly recommend this salon. They give me a follow up call the day before my service to tell me that they will charge me an additional $10 for a cleaning fee for the colonic. The esthetician was nice and made things comfortable. Now on to the ionic foot detox: I go in the other room that has a plastic lined foot-basin on the ground in front of a chair. The same woman hooks me up to the machine, shows me the basics and leaves (no issue with her at all). There is a microwave in the room. There's no evaluation of the colors given by the esthetician, just the paper sHe handed me. The machine had an attachment that was wrapped around my wrist and it burned me. I mentioned it to the esthetician when she came back in the room. She checked the machine; it said error, so she re-strapped me and pressed some buttons. She didn't take me seriously when I mentioned being burned aNd went on to explain electric currents. At the end of the session which was cut short my 7 minutes I see the burn on my skin, show here and she says sorry. Now I'm checking out, I mention the burn to the receptionist and she doesn't even acknowledge it. Not going back. I recommend that they offer wipes to clients after foot detox and not just paper towels. Also never expected to be BURNED.

The facility is clean and welcoming. I opted to do their 3 hour package, which includes 60 min head spa, 60 min body massage, and 60 min deep facial for $238. You can't beat the price! The massage was great, she really went after my trouble areas and integrated a hot pillow and hot stones into the massage. She checked in with me whenever she felt me tense up to see if the pressure was ok. I felt so much better after the massage. The facial surpassed my expectations, it was multiple steps and included a very thorough extractions process that included both manual and vacuum suctioning device, ending with a hydrating calming mask. I did have some redness from some of the extraction points but that's to be expected and most of the redness vanished by the next morning. The head spa was also very thorough with massaging my scalp, neck, and shoulders. She had already figured out from the massage portion that this was a trouble area for me so I appreciate that she continued working on it, it felt like she was in no hurry and her prime concern was for me to leave feeling completely refreshed. I have porous curly hair, which creates a challenge for these types of experiences. Most head spas don't know what to do with hair that's not straight or wavy, spending the brunt of the time frustrated with the detangling process. I've been to head spas in flushing, Greenpoint, and Astoria, and this was by far the best handling I've encountered. Even though it took some time to detangle, she never voiced frustration over the challenge, and intrinsically knew not to attempt touching mid shaft to ends until they were wet and covered in product. It was very relaxing and wasn't a painful process (again, usually it's very painful because they rarely know how to detangle curls). It was a multi step process with thorough scalp attention. When it was time to dry my hair, I wasn't expecting anything other than a blow dryer, as most of these places just get your hair dry without any products or styling. I was pleasantly surprised to see some hair products, including some specifically for curly hair. It wasn't a proper blowout (which usually unless you're paying $200+ just for the the head spa these places don't give a blowout anyways), but she ensures that I walked out looking presentable by layering some product and doing some light scrunching. This level of care for someone with mixed textured curly hair speaks volumes as to the quality of service that is being offered. I will definitely be back. The value is phenomenal and an inclusive approach to their care has made me a loyal customer.
