Today I placed an order for delivery, I have been ordering from this place for the last several months now. I switched from a different restaurant because of poor customer service. Anyway normally my experiences were pretty good. The food is great, the fact that let you pay with a credit card at your door, and delivery time is pretty good. Up until tonight the customer service was fantastic but the person that answered the phone was very unprofessional. The first thing he said when he answered the phone is "delivery or pick up" not "Hi thanks for calling, what can i get for you?". He asked for my address and his reply was "damn that's far" Who says that!? I am not saying not to order from these guys but be prepared to feel upset when you get off the phone every once in a while. read more

One of the best pizzerias in the area, hands down. The workers are efficient, but the pizza is well-made. Personally, I like my slice to be stiff when I fold it and hold it up. If the front corner sags, the crust isn't crispy enough and it's not good pizza. I also don't like the crust to be burnt with black spots on the bottom of my slice. In fact this place and Lenny's have the Caesar salad slice if you want fiber with your pizza. I used to love this place, but it has gone completely downhill! Last time I ordered, I asked that they put the linguini with white clam sauce separate from the order due to my bf being allergic, and instead they put the sauce and the pasta in separate containers, due to the people they have answering the phone barely speak English. Love love love their grandma slices. Hands down the best grandma slices in the world. Caesar salad slice, yup, salad on a pizza, caesar dressing instead of tomato sauce. Its a messy slice, possibly requires utensils but so worth it. Beef pattys are delicious as well. I orded from this place before and it was good but the order that i just got was not even close to edible. The potato croquettes were drenched in oil and basically falling apart. The sausage roll tasted like it was days old and it was barely filled with any sausage or peppers. The groud beef in the riceballs were so dry and it was basically grey. I orded a minestrone soup and i received a chicken soup and the worst part is when i opened it, it looked like it was already half eaten. When i called the the place to complain the guy over the phone told me nonchalantly that the delivery driver dropped the soup. Did they expect me not to notice? The margarita pizza here is still ok. Got a chicken cutlet parm hero and omg what a mistake. I know old chicken. I wouldn't give that meat they gave me to a dog. I feel so hurt that many restaurants have become so uncaring about the food they serve us. I cook almost always and want a break sometimes, only to waste my money and trash what I receive. My wife and I order from La Bella Express at least three times a month and have since they opened. Their pizza is consistently good as are their pasta dishes. They're Halal, so don't expect pork pepperoni or ham, but their turkey ham and beef pepperoni are top quality. Everything here is always good and reasonably priced. At 9:33pm I called to see what was the status with my order and was told the order was leaving right there and then. At 9:50 I called again because I still hadn't received it and was told give him a few more minutes. By 10:10pm I got tired of waiting and called and told them to cancel the order. This is always my go-to pizza place in Bensonhurst. I'm not sure what's up with the low review but the pizza is 5/5 for me. I always get the veggie pizza and that shits always STACKED. Like thick of sauce and cheese and so much veggies which makes it way well worth the money. I go here quite often. I love that they have a marinara pizza with only their beautiful and delicious marinara sauce with some stripes of pesto. I put Parmesan cheese on and it is delicious. But forget the marinara slice, there is soooooo much variety and everything just tastes GREAT! I deliver from them rarely but when I do, it's decent timing... 45 min to an hour and I would understand that because they are ALWAYS busy. I always love that they have good quality parmesan to put on the pizza. Many pizzerias do not offer that or if they do, they give the cheap Kraft kind. No, not in La Bella. All the South American guys working in the front are really friendly too. Their heros are GIGANTIC. I can only eat half. Love their meatball hero, their chicken parm and their eggplant. My bf orders their philly cheese steak (I think? Or it's just steak and peppers... I forget). Fries are nothing amazing obv, you're going to a pizzeria. Don't order fries. Their fried zucchini however and mozzarella sticks are just beautiful and melt in my mouth. And mMm, DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THEIR POTATO CROQUETTES! I used to love and be loyal to Lenny's but La Bella on Bay Parkway won me over. I feel that Lenny's changed their sauce, idk what it is but it's different. This place didn't turn out as great as what my friends and I thought it would be. We ordered an entire buffalo chicken pizza pie. Unfortunately, the workers doesn't know what buffalo sauce is. Their pizza is just a messy pile of chicken with a huge amount of ketchup mixed with vinegar and scallions. It was a huge mess because the pizza was so overloaded with "buffalo sauce" that it fell apart as we try lifting it. I'm not sure if this place is worth coming back but the buffalo chicken pizza is definitely not worth the $22 that we spend. read more

Pizza here is fine. Service is quick and great. The square slice with sauce, pesto and mozzarella cheese just melts. The crust and dough is crunchy after coming out of the oven. I NEVER order delivery from here. All I do is come and eat in. The drinks are really, the ordinary that you would find at other pizza shops. The round slice is very oily on the top. They put a TON of oil on the top with cheese and sauce (underneath the cheese). Interior isn't fancy but ordinary. A ton of pizza boxes sit there. The space inside isn't much. Not as legit pizza as L & B spumoni's pizza is. read more
