He also noted a leak in our pressure control valve and we discussed other valve replacements we've been wanting to do for some time. Tyler gave us a quote for the work that was well within our budget, and scheduled a date to return. He completed the work in much less time than we expected....2 hours to replace the pressure control valve with two meters (inbound & outbound) that will make future adjustments easy. He also replaced the valve for the water heater and added a valve for the furnace humidifier water supply. And, he replaced the hot & cold supply valves for our washing machine, which were the originals from when the house was built over 50 years ago. I replied that two would be much better and asked if he could make it two, not three. He texted with some other questions, but didn't respond about starting. I asked again. No answer. I asked again. No answer. Nor did I get the quote. I called the next day, left a VM, and never heard back. Very, very dissatisfied. Some reply, even to say he couldn't take the job, would have been preferable to complete radio silence. Not to mention just plain polite. He lost a repeat customer.
