My brows and lashes were damn near non-existent. I was always scared that getting my lashes done would hurt or damage my skin. Brittney was so knowledgeable, which allowed me to be comfortable in letting her do my lashes in the first place. She explained each step before she did it and asked me how I was doing throughout the process. Not only was it the most amazing first lash experience ever, but I felt so beautiful after!! I would definitely recommend Brittney time and time again.

From having been to one eyelash extension expert to another in such a short period of time, I've…read moreseen and have been somewhat educated and familiarized with a few techniques and tools now used by specialists. When I found out that Emiko did bottom lash extensions, I was overjoyed and was even more pleased because she was in my area. During my consultation, I mentioned that I just previously had top eyelash extensions put on so she went ahead and took a look at the job. Shocked at knowing that a few of my lashes were glued to one extension, I knew that there was some damage made. I allowed her to remove some of them (an extra 20 bucks-such a waste of money and I hate that), so she could apply one extension to one eyelash. There was even a top eyelash that was applied to a bottom lash from when I visited Bylle Breaux... terrible. http://www.yelp.com/biz/bylle-breaux-make-up-and-hair-los-angeles-2 Emiko took her time (1 hour 45 minute application) applying the extensions on my top and bottom lashes with her own concocted glue from Japan (zero odor and no irritation). What a huge difference!! The lashes were softer, more defined and natural looking, and weren't clumped together with huge spaces between them. They really made my eyes pop and enhanced them beautifully. Emiko was gentle and made sure I was comfortable the entire time... I actually dozed off twice. Everyone there was very kind and welcoming making my visit an amazing one. If you are truly looking for quality eyelash extensions and specialists that handle your lashes with love and care, definitely come here. I'm excited to go back and get a full set from Emiko. She doesn't half-ass her work and you can count on her to help continue caring for your lashes as they grow out. I'm very confident that her technique is non-damaging and I highly recommend her. The 2nd time I protested, she challenged me, but I was insistent that she was wrong not to ask my permission (she wanted $60 more for extra lashes that I never asked for!). It was difficult for me to decipher if our miscommunication was because of the language barrier, but since I'm a language teacher and she's a businesswoman, I think not. Emiko is skilled at what she does, but I didn't appreciate her sneaky way of trying to make more off of me.

Friday Jan 19, 2015 1:15pm…read more I will write more later as I am going to ER. But let this be noted, that this place is DEADLY and TOXIC. Nevermind that the lashes were okay, for HEALTH HAZARD reasons, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone that values their health! So let's start from the beginning, as this is a HONEST report, because I only write honest, unexaggerated reviews... As I lay on the table to get my lashes done, it was about 10 minutes into it, that suddenly the girl asked the other girl for the "owner's glue" (that was mistake number one). From there she turned the small fan on, which 3 minutes later my nose and throat were instantly burning and my eyes were watering. I asked her to move then fan to not blow directly on me, and she CONTINUED to let it sit there and blow DIRECTLY on me, blowing toxic fumes down my nose, throat and sinuses for TWO hours. Eventually, I had to ask for a blanket to cover my nose from the fumes. Did the girl ever say anything or realize that I was uncomfortable? NO, not at all. I was squirming and having a hard time breathing, and all she said was "We're almost done", so I trusted her and continued suffocating. When we were finally done, tears started rolling down my eyes, my throat and nose were both on fire, like never before! I am pretty sure, as I was paying she knew she had F'd up, because she didn't say anything at all, and rushed me out the door. Sadly, my eyes were watering so badly, and my throat was in such pain, I had to sit for 20 minutes in my car blasting cold FRESH air in eyes and throat. When looking into my throat in the mirror it was COMPLETELY RED and RAW!!! When I could eventually somewhat see well enough to drive, I rushed home and drank a bunch of milk to attempt to coat my throat, but it was too late. That was only to be the beginning of my hell... I have been bedridden for 3 days so far. The dangerously high temperatures (over 103), feeling spacey, disoriented and sleepy left me unable to get to the ER, until yesterday, when the diagnosis came in that i had LARYNGITIS caused by the toxic fumes! I am a MODEL and a SINGER, and now I can barely SPEAK! I am in tears as I write this, because I do not know to what extent the damage has been done by this unprofessional place, and if will ever be able to sing and perform again, and I had gigs lined up. This is truly devastating! I have had eyelash extensions 6 other times before, NEVER a problem EVER! One, they care, and two they use quality odorless glue! (write me, I will tell you were to go, and this woman I normally go to, her lashes last 6-8 weeks!). There is a lot more, however my attorney has told me to rest and put in it his report, so that is just what I will do. Update: JANUARY 21 Not only is this business owner falsifying claims to protect herself, she has the audacity to call me a liar. By saying I "refused the fans" which is a blatant lie!!! Your technician KEPT it on! In fact all she did was turn it slightly, as it continued to blow in my face! You're not a doctor, so please don't try to be one! LARYNGITIS is caused by IRRITATION and INFLAMMATION of the throat. NOT the flu as you would like to claim. I'm NOT ALLERGIC to anything. So please don't try once again to buffer your business to try and make yourself look good by falsely accusing me of being allergic to your glue. This has NOTHING to do with allergies! SHAME ON YOU And no offer for a refund, despite me even including a $10 tip! Your solution is come back in and take them off for me. Like I would ever set foot near there again!!! All the owner cares about is making sure she looks good and not take responsibility for the problem and there serious damages that have ensued.

I asked for more glue and I hope it lasts this time. The customer service alone is worth 5 stars. It's risk free if you give this place a try! Just some info on me, I have very oily skin and my natural lashes are very few and thin. **old review** My honest opinion. The hair quality is great. I paid extra $28 for the 5D/9D. The glue she used didn't irritate my eyes at all. The end result was lovely. The last time I had results this great was in Japan. The next day about half of the hairs on my left eye fell off. It's been less than a week and about 70% of all the lashes are gone. My friends thought I had them done a month ago and I had to explain it's less than a week. I'm going to give it another try because I like how they look but I'll ask for more glue. I have my refill in 2 days and I'll update my review after 2 weeks.
