I went to Jillienne almost two months ago for Microblading. She did a great job and I've gotten many compliments from those who know I got it done (it looks so natural, people probably wouldn't know otherwise). She rescheduled me the first appointment bc Aunt Flo was visiting that time and she said I would be hypersensitive, so just a heads up. She was very attentive during the appointment and would check to see if I was numb and feeling ok (it was fine for me, but everyone's pain tolerance is different). She told me exactly what to expect during the healing process, the areas she thought would need a touch up and that it would be about a month for it to be a good judgement of what the brows will look like. I'll probably go in for a touch up in a couple months, one brow is a little darker than the other, but overall, I am very happy with the results. read more

Jill is very professional and super light on her hands. I never knew I was getting a not so good lash experience until I met Jill. Other lash artists I've had in the past were rough, my eyes would come out watery and sting a little and the occasional eyelash tugging -- which sometimes hurt, but I thought this was all normal until I met Jill. She's incredibly gentle, she also listens to your needs and very straight forward. I wanted a natural look and she exceeded expectations. Her place is always clean and so zen. On top of it all, my real lashes were still intact when the false ones fell off. I want to keep Jill to myself but she deserves the recognition. So happy I finally found a lash lady! read more

I went to jillienne and I was lucky enough to have she do my eyebrows. She made me feel so comfortable the entire time and answered any questions I had. First things first, quick to get an appointment and Jillienne responds very promptly. Her studio is very clean and relaxing. It is very obvious that she takes her work seriously, she's educated in her craft, and is a perfectionist. Unlike the last time i got my brows done, i felt pretty much zero pain! My brows are beautiful and she gave me after care instructions that will help me get the best result. She even follow up called me since I had a few questions which I appreciated. Highly recommend! read more

Jill was able to squeeze me in so last minute and, even though I was her last client of the day, she took her time with my lashes and explained every step of the process to me. I'm so in love with the outcome and will be coming back to her every time I need a fill! I could not have asked for better service for my first time getting lash extensions. My eyes and skin are also super sensitive and the lashes she used on me are so light that I barely know they're there. read more

Jill's handiwork is incredible. I'm getting married next month and knew I would be crying like a baby, therefore wanted something that would withstand my tears. I have very thin lashes that has some length (see the pics) but for some reason even the best, expensive waterproof mascara doesn't plump them nor does it withstand my tendency to cry when happy. Jill worked magic, again see the pics!! The lashes lasted beautifully for three weeks (and could have likely gone on longer but I returned for a fresh-up), note those three weeks included one rowdy, tearful, and very water oriented bachelorette party in Key West, Florida. Gorgeous! And that weekend started 2 weeks into the lash experience. She's a true artist and absolutely the sweetest. Incredibly gentle and informative as she's working. I was a total newbie to this process and walked out knowing exactly how to care for my long lush lashes. She even gave me a special brush to use to wash the lashes. She's magic! read more

I keep coming back to Jillienne due to her impeccable skill and quality product. Her level of talent and skill is hard to find; I feel so lucky to have found someone I trust so much and who's work I love! I have gotten my lashes done for several years now and once I met Jill I knew she was going to be the only one to touch my lashes from that point. I have been seeing her over a year now and she does an amazing job every time, really listens to what I want and takes her time to do a perfect job on my lashes every time. She really cares about the health of my lashes (which is still great after a year of non-stop extensions) and will be honest about what will look good on me. She has given me different looks (natural, dramatic, etc.) that last me 3-5 weeks average between fills. Her salon is clean, comfortable and beautiful. I always leave feeling relaxed and happy. Scheduling with her is very convenient, and despite her busy schedule, (this speaks for itself that she has a ton of returning clients) she is still flexible and very dependable. You have to be very careful with who you trust with your eyelashes, which I have learned the hard way... this is why I recommend Jill to everyone who comments on my lashes or anyone interested in trying eyelash extensions. I promise... don't bother going anywhere else... you won't be disappointed!! read more

Jill is absolutely amazing. I had never heard of microblading or even known i could do anything about my eyebrows. I had shaved them when i was young not knowing that some hair might not grow back... ever. So they were not full length. I met Jill by chance one day and she asked me if i had ever heard of the process. She sent me information and helped answer my questions so i felt comfortable with moving forward. It sounded a little scary and slightly painful but honestly it wasn't. Jill used a numbing cream and checked to make sure i was ok with everything before she moved forward. I had never heard of or ever thought about getting anything done to fix my brows but I'm really glad i met Jill and really happy with her work. She did an amazing job! I would recommend her to anyone for microblading. read more

My review is way over due! I have been coming to Jill for a loooong time. I have very thin eyelashes, and Jill always handle them with care and makes sure I have the perfecct eyelashes! She is super honest and will recommend me to let my lashes to break as needed. I am always satisfied with the outcomes, and will never let anyone else to fill my lashes. read more

I'd like to start off by stating that as with hair extensions, gel nails etc that some damage is to be expected. Jill is a professional who is extremely skilled at her craft. I have had lashes applied elsewhere and did not receive half of the information which she offers. It was definitely an educational experience. During my last appointment she noticed how short and thin my natural lashes had become so she applied some very natural looking extensions to help me out until mine grew out....free of charge! I truly appreciate great customer service and will absolutely be back for the next special occassion. read more

Jill did a great job with my lashes. My lashes are full, and longer - yet still look natural. The whole process was quick, and comfortable and the room where I got my lashes done was clean. Also, she has you check the length, thickness, fullness etc. after each eye to ensure you are satisfied. If not, she will take them off with a special removal serum and redo them - no questions asked. She was also extremely accommodating to my schedule since I got called in to an emergency meeting at work. I also appreciated that she told me to not get it done too frequently to let your lashes "breathe". That shows that she cares about her clients and is not only in it to make as much money as possible. I think her prices are reasonable. Shop around for good lash extensionists. I have been getting these done on and off several years and have had horrible experiences from going with the cheapest person possible (too thick, glue is gloppy, pokes my eyes etc.) read more

Jill was FANTASTIC!!! I have never had lash extensions before and was SUPER hesitant when a friend tried to get me to go. Let me just start by saying that Jill came in and saw both my mom and I on her day off, I was almost an hour late and she worked straight through her lunch! She was pleasant and carful and SUPER DUPER SWEET! My lashes look INCREDIBLE and completely natural! And I have been getting compliments daily for the last 2 weeks! Towards the end of my appointment her next lady came and Jill finished mine a little under the 45 min she says it takes. I was so over the moon and completely impressed with how amazing they looked I was no remotely bothered by this. I was impressed that she could do it as fast as she did. Update: The next time I went back she spent more time with me and I have to say I have gotten SO MANY compliments on my lashes! Everyone has thought they were real! Her service was unbelievable and I will TOTALLY be going back! read more

I had my first experience with lash extensions a couple years back for my wedding and was really wanting to get them again. I came across Jill here through yelp and decided to give her a try. Jill does fantastic work and her prices are very reasonable. The room at the salon where I got my extensions done was clean and Jill tries to make it as comfortable as possible. She's very thorough and wants your feedback regarding lash length, thickness, and fullness. She makes sure it's done right. Her hands are very "light" when she applies them that I almost fell asleep a few times during the process. I'd highly recommend Jill for anyone that wants to get eyelash extensions. read more

Jill is the BEST hands down for lashes!! She is an expert in this field. I've been going to Jill for over 3 years and will not let anyone else do my lashes. I always receive compliments on how natural they look. She also isn't money hungry like a lot of these other businesses and will make you take a break even if you don't want to! Let this be your last stop ladies if you're looking for lash extensions!!! Thanks Jill!!! read more

Jill is amazing! Very professional, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. I immediately felt at ease as she explained the process to me. The application process itself took a little over an hour for the "natural" option. Jill is a perfectionist and has a good eye for what she does. She made sure fine tune what she applied. After her application, my eyelashes looked stunning. I can see how women get addicted to the treatment. The lashes made my eyes pop and works wonders for my face when I'm not wearing any make-up. I would recommend Jill and her services to any of my good friends and family members I plan on seeing Jill again in March to vamp up my lashes for a Vegas trip. :-) read more

Who in their right mind gets eyelash extensions? Well, if you get to the crazy bride stage... you do crazy things! Actually, no judgment here, I support anybody who wants gorgeous lashes for everyday! But since they're a little pricey, I thought, if there's anytime I could justify getting these lashes would be for my wedding and honeymoon! Jill was great - she uses text messages for scheduling which is super convenient. She made recommendations for my short lame lashes. The whole process took about an hour. I got so many compliments on my lashes! They were perfect for the wedding. They semi-lasted through the honeymoon (2 weeks in a beach setting) which made me very happy to go make-up free! I had to go back to get the lashes removed, which was just $10. Jill again did a great job, and I miss those oh-so-luscious lashes! read more

I found Jill via yelp and decided to give her a call to book an appointment for eyelash extensions. I went in and she was so nice and gentle. She answered all questions I had and calmed any worries I had as this was the first time I've ever gotten eyelash extensions. She made the process very easy and painless. She was very calm and even played relaxing music throughout the session. She told me what things to avoid in order to keep the lashes in place longer and even how to sleep! Lol. Very reasonable price,I could not be happier! I will be back for a refill! read more

I have known Jill for many years. I would get my eyelashes done on and off with her. She used to have great customer service. As timé has gone by that customer service has declined or maybe she only reserves it for a select few. Maybe it's due to her being more busy now. The last couple of times I've seen her her technique and quality of her work has declined as well. The glue is chunky, the eyelashes instead of being placed individually seem to just be placed on top of each other causing a couple of eyelashes to clump together. Since she is very busy now I feel she's always in a rush. Although I do have to admit there were sometimes I had been late to my appointment though, I don't want to place all the blame on her. But going back to the customer service, the last couple of times I sent I felt like she didn't really want to see me and was even rude. The first time I thought, well it probably was because I had been late. But the following timé it was worse. I was surprised and still admit felt kind of hurt because I knew her from when she worked in a tiny place, a hole in the wall you can say. I hate writing this review on her but I feel like I have to do it. Her prices are reasonable to me but are no longer worth it to me. I would travel far to go and see her. I have now found a better place, closer to my home and more than reasonable prices with a great selection, great customer service and I get exactly what I want. Sadly I will never go back to Jill. I don't think losing one customer will make a difference to her specially by the way she treated me the last time. Do your research and don't settle. read more

Jill is really sweet and seems very knowledgeable. She definitely has a light touch, painless, and didn't take very long. I got my lashes done a few days before a wedding trip (Jamaica). Despite the heat, water, and other activities, I was able to keep my lashes looking fab thanks to all of Jill's suggestions. She also seems to care more about the health of my lashes than the money she could get from multiple touch-ups. I REALLY appreciate that!!! It's been almost 3 weeks and my lashes still look great! I'll be seeing her again when I take my next trip (Vegas) next month! I just wish she was still in Long Beach. But her work is definitely worth the drive to Arcadia! read more

If there's one thing I'm addicted to in life, it's eyelash extensions!! After backpacking for 3 months and not having them, I had to find my go-to girl to freshen up my look and eyes! I found julienne on Yelp and after reading her reviews I was pleasantly surprised. She is located in the back room of a little hair salon and she's very gentle. As a first timer with her, she checked in throughout the application process to make sure that the length was right and I liked how it looked (which I've never had before at other eyelash places). The full set took around 1hr to do which is pretty standard but I loved how they looked once it was finished. Her lashes actually last quite a long time and I will definitely be returning to get my in-fills with Jill. read more

I wanted to wait a few days before posting a review. I got my eyelashes done about 5 days ago. Overall my experience here was pretty good. To me Jill seemed like she was kind of in a hurry to finish up my extensions but in all honesty this was my first time ever getting them done so I'm not too sure how it's all supposed to go. Afterwards she explained everything about the after care & she was very polite the whole time. She even gave me a discount since it was my first time getting eyelashes done. But overall I love my extensions. I have a problem with my eyelashes falling out in clumps randomly so Jill told me they might not last long on that eye & she was right. But my other ones still look really good! read more

Ive been here so many times and was recommended to go here by a friend. I absolutely love this place! Jill, the owner is awesome. The first time i met her, I was in desperate need to have my eyelash extension replaced because it was the same day i had to attend a wedding. I texted her (as i was told to do by my friend who recommended Jill) and she responded to me that morning and booked my appointment to meet her. She even moved another clients appointment to fit me in her schedule. (Indeed that was very nice of her to do.) I was truly impressed of the way my eyelashes looked. Ive never done individual lashes, and so i didnt really know what to expect from it...however I was very pleased with the outcome. Alot of people have complimented me on how natural they looked. Ive gone to other places to get my eyelashes done, but i must say I plan to stick around and continue to go to JC Lashes, regardless if its 25 miles away from my house. read more

I went to see Jill for micro blading my brows were starting to loose their shape due to age. Jill was very knowledgeable, professional and kind. Her work space is neat, clean and organized. I really hate writing bad reviews (which is why this is my first). As a person, she's great. Super sweet and nice. She gives directions on how to take care of them. She also gives you a little brush and saline drops which I appreciate. But I wasn't very happy with my results. I've been getting eyelash extensions for years from another lady in the OC. But I wanted someone closer so I went on Yelp.com like we do and I found JC Lashes. She does seem to care about the health of my lashes but I've never seen this much damage on them before. I am not sure if it's the eyelash she uses, the glue or the technique but after my eyelashes were removed, they were super short and thin. Never in 3 years have they been like that when my other lady was doing it. So I'm never going back. Sorry :( read more

If you want quality lashes that last and someone who truly cares about your lashes, that person is Jill. I've been coming to her for almost two years and won't ever go anywhere else. Her technique is amazing and she has a feather touch, I always leave feeling so feminine. I'm addicted to lashes so when she tells me, you need to take a break for a while and give your eyes a break, I listen. Jill truly cares about me, not like others I've heard of, who just are in it for money. My lashes look natural and I work out a lot and they last for a long time. I have been going to Jill for a year now. After she did my lash extensions, I was hooked. It was honestly the most pleasant experience...I fell asleep and when I woke up she was finished! Her lash extensions make me feel like a beauty queen. It is so nice to not have to wear mascara. Three months ago, I went to her for microblading. My brows still look perfect. I was always self conscious about how asymmetrical my brows were but she did an amazing job at evening them out. I can't believe how natural they look. She matched my favorite shade of brow pencil. The procedure was easy; nothing like some of the horror stories you hear online. She is very gentle and thorough, with both the lashes and the microblading. I get complimented all the time.
