I decided to book an appointment at Sumi Lash in Pasadena due to its close proximity to my house. To be honest, I was a bit nervous after reading all the negative reviews. Everything from how the lashes were not long lasting to how their eyes burned during the application process made me wanted to cancel my appointment, but I really needed to get my lashes done for the weekend so the desperate side of me decided to stick to it. I had initially made my appointment with a tech by the name of Cindy for 9:30am, but then I received a text notification that my appointment was updated to 10:00am with Tina. The day before the appointment, I received another text from Sumi asking if I would be able to come in at 10:15am instead, which I was okay with. I am very familiar with the area so I found the place and parking without any issues. I arrived on time and only waited about 5 minutes for Tina. The check in process is all the same for all Sumi locations - check in on an ipad with your phone number. Tina was very friendly, and went over styles with me. There was some burning from the glue but it wasn't too unbearable. I was done in about an hour for a full set of Volume Wispy lashes. The total including tips cost me about $160+. The verdict: I was VERY happy with how my lashes came out. It's been two weeks and I still have the full set of lashes. I am glad I did not back out of my appointment after reading some of the negative reviews, and I do plan on scheduling my next appointment soon for a fill.

I will never not get this. I had patchy brows (over plucking, scarring, yikes) that I was super self conscious of growing up and was having to fill them in. Since getting these done - I barely have had to fill in, maybe a slight touch up if I have an event or need to do some make up. If you like bare faced and natural looks, this was game changing. I'm super not familiar with make up or skilled at it - enough to be dangerous, and this helped me so much. I feel more confident and happier with my brows. Only slight upkeep is needed to trim! I have already gotten my touch up from the initial appointment, and you only need to go maybe every year or so after to touch up.
