I requested from this sweet lady a "refill" as it was only two weeks since my last application. My tech said I need to get a new application. Ok, no problem. BUT....she took two and a half hours (!!!!!), at this point, laying still with my eyes closed, I felt claustrophobic and in pain. My lashes were too bold, but I did not want to stay longer to be fixed. My friend saw them and said she gave me "10D." I teared up laughing, from the lashes burning or from my sadness. read more

UPDATE: I am under Briseyda R. Not Jasmine R. I received this service Thursday December 7th. Also, after speaking to multiple different lash techs; they advised minibeauty lash technician should have used "single" lashes as the picture I showed clearly has singles NOT hybrid. However, I was given "hybrid" lashes which created this bold and heavy unwanted look. Nothing to do with eye-shape in my case. I am so sad and disappointed with my eyelashes. I want to say that the place was very clean and the lady who did my lashes was extremely sweet and caring; however, my final lashes were nothing like the picture I had shown the lash tech. I attached the picture of what I asked for which I got from their own instagram account. I have no knowledge of lash vocabulary so I just showed her and she assured me that she knew what the lashes on the post were ( from their own minibeauty instagram) I spent all night trying to stay positive but my lashes were nothing like what I had asked for and I payed a lot of money for this service. I called back the next day hoping they would fix my lashes since their liability contract stated that they had a "3-day" fix policy and the lady advised me that they could only remove the lashes for free but I would have to pay FULL PRICE for a new set again. It is now day 2 and I have already lost a lot of the lashes. Again, I am extremely disappointed because I had high hopes since their instagram account showed beautiful lashes. This place is my go to. So far I've gone here about 4 times now with about 2-3 week fills. I get the Real Mink with Elegant Style. I love it here and I love my lashes. The place itself is cute! It's like being in a spa. I'm so glad when I come here I can relax and basically take a nap lol. They take their time and do an amazing job. Lucky was my lash tech and she's gave me great results thus far. My only issue is the lash glue. While dipping the lash onto the glue onto my real lashes I smell an intense scent. Like my nose felt like it was burning. Maybe I'm just sensitive and over reacting. But that scent was strong. Other than that, my experiences have been great. Thanks Lucky! I gotta agree with the one star reviews. I got my eyelashes done a week ago, right before leaving for vacation. One week later, my left eye still has a good 75% of lashes on them. My right eye has less than 10%. They irritated the hell out of my right eye and the only reason I didn't go immediately back for a refund was because I was out of town. I personally won't be returning. There are a few other eyelash places in Alhambra and Glendale that are cost effective without sacrificing quality. read more

Let me start my saying this CHEAPER DOES NOT EQUAL BETTER! there is a reason their prices are lower than others, because their material is not good quality. Where you save you end up paying for it later. This was my first time here and after carefully reading reviews and looking at pictures I was willing to give them a shot. I got my lashes done for my vacation and let me tell y'all I really regret it. My eye was bloodshot RED and I had an allergic reaction for the majority of my trip. I was forced to buy eye allergy drops and try to alleviate the irritation. My lashes didn't even make it one week before I texted them to remove them and I asked them to Give me half of my service fee because of my reaction and the fact I didn't even have them for a week. When I asked for a refund, they tried to downplay it a water down their response like "the lady that does refunds isn't here, we will do it and text you". Why does there need to be a specific person for a refund when the staff is all trained to charge transactions? I refused to leave without a receipt and when I let them know, the "lady who does the refunds" magically texted me a receipt. I'm still keeping an eye out for the refund and will be contacting my bank if it doesn't come through. Pay the extra money and go somewhere else, your eyes are incredibly valuable and to risk infection/irritation/etc for a cheaper price is NOT worth it. read more

My friend recommended this place because she said the tech did an awesome job with her lashes and I would say I had the same experience today. Yoyo was so nice and considerate; I had no problems with the whole process at all. For $45, my lashes look great. Will definitely be coming back here regularly! Update: came back with my mom a couple weeks later and got her the classic lash extensions for Mother's Day. My mom absolutely loves it and we're more than satisfied. Honest review and opinion/thoughts: I went in and wanted 3d volume - I was consulted into hybrid volume lashes with wispies. For my first time it was $90 discount included. This is the first place I've had to sign a wavier - the wavier included 'no refunds' if it doesn't come out how I like (understandable). When my set was finished I didn't have any wispies.. I feel a little mislead because their Instagram and professional photos do not match customer photos. They are advertised as mink lashes, Instagram photos show the lashes more soft, elegant, light, and natural. The lashes I got were more synthetic and a little to thick for my preference (wasn't as elegant as I'm used). The size 15 were a little shorter than normal. I personally think the fans can be more spread out/open, I had a few random clumps of just thick fans. I also had some crooked lashes on my inner corners that they didn't bother to fix. Overall, these lashes lasted me 3 weeks. Took a little over an hour to do a full set. Establishment is clean with parking on the street and in rear. read more
