I'm really bummed I have to give this place 2 stars because I was so excited to give them a try. Their work on Instagram and Yelp is beautiful but my whole experience post-care has been somewhat of a nightmare. Throughout the years, I've gotten lash extensions plenty of times before but this has been the first time I've been hit with conjunctivitis in my right eye. Before you ask, yes, I had been cleaning my lashes every day with lash shampoo. I also wash and sterilize the brushes I clean my lashes with every day. My lash tech initially did a pretty good job on my lashes. I had requested the Flirty Hybrid set but I was a bit disappointed with the length she had recommended for me, as I had shown her photos of 14mm and 12mm lashes in the wispy style but she recommended 13mm and 11mm wispy style instead. I trusted her expertise so I went with her suggestion but upon seeing the result, I felt I would've liked my request better. Also the left eye's lashes looked fuller and more symmetrical than the right eye. However, I didn't want to complain as I was overall initially happy with the result. Plus, it was late and they were getting ready to close for the day. What was disappointing about the service though was for the price of $200+ after tip, I received no aftercare instructions or kit. Other lash places I've been to have given me both but this place didn't. I'm not sure if it's not in their policy but for a service priced higher than other lash extension salons, I would've expected better. They also didn't provide any contact lens cases or solution to store your lenses during the service like other places. Had I had known to bring my own ahead of time, I would've but again, no pre or post instructions. But going back to the conjunctivitis, I've ended up having get antibiotics from the doctor and now I'm just monitoring my eyes in hopes the infection doesn't come back. I'm just so disappointed that after paying that much for lash extensions that I haven't really been able to enjoy them. I know there are less pricey salons out there but I was so drawn to their Flirty and Air Hybrid sets that I was willing to pay a little more. Well, lesson learned I guess. read more

I've been getting my lashes done for about two years now. This is by far the best place because my eyes are very sensitive. Hedy makes the appointment very comfortable. She is very gentle and my eyes don't get irritated like at other places I've tried. They are also very clean. I trust them and will keep going here. read more

Absolutely love my full hybrid set done by Lulu! Lashes are very natural looking and it looks like you're wearing eyeliner. Definitely saves me time in the morning and being a new mom, every minute saved is crucial! She is also super sweet and takes sanitation seriously. The door is kept open so there is air flow and also a UV sanitizer. She also has a diffuser which makes the room smell really good. There's soft music playing in the background which sets the perfect high end environment at a really fair price! This is the only place I will ever go to for my lashes! I go to Hedy, she's great! Very gentle and has an eye for detail. Their new location is trendy and provides a serene environment. Kinda hard to spot though. I get the barely there set for a more natural look and I always get compliment. read more

I first discovered through an instagram ad and immediately followed them. I think at the time there were no immediate openings or bookings available so I kept going to my last lash place. One day, I saw a post that there was a cancellation and I immediately grabbed it. LOCATION When I went, I had a hard time finding the place only to realize it's INSIDE Salon Republic. Google and Apple Maps will confuse you. Lol LULULASH is super clean, bright, and comfortable. The music and the staff will wear masks as well. Not recommended to bring extra people that aren't in an appointment - they'll probably need to sit outside. They will have a basket for your belongings. Make sure you don't wear contacts during the appointment. I've fallen asleep so quickly once settled, each time. I'm not sure what music is played but I always feel so peaceful. I have been coming to this location for 6+ months and don't regret breaking with my last lash place. The lashes are so comfortable and soft. The lash tech will take a look at your eyes to see what they recommend for you if you're not sure what style to do either. The retention on these lashes are so much better than other places I've been to as well. Obviously it takes effort from you too, but the skill set is great. They take Venmo for payment. Parking can be validated at the Salon Republic front desk before you leave. read more

Elise was wonderful and pleasant, I was late about 20 Min cause I couldn't find them. Suite 241 is republik salon across from El Cholo and they are in suite 109. Parking is validated for the first 90 minutes. I had a lash lift done, it was way better than my first lift done at a different lash place. The chairs are the most comfortable I've even been in for lashes so all in all I'd totally go back. read more

I had to find a new lash person when my lash girl moved out of state. I'm so lucky to have found Lululash. I had my original set done by Hope and it was amazing. She is very talented and listens to you. She's also pleasant and you can really relax while you're there. They have great Covid protocols and I felt very safe as it was clean and they took careful precautions. I've also had Hedy do my fill and she's equally as great. I highly recommend them! read more

I recently took an interest in experimenting with my lashes and I'm so glad I went with Lululash for my first keratin lash lift! I went in with zero knowledge and probably (definitely) asked some dumb questions but Lu was so patient and kind with me throughout the process! Requesting Appointment: I followed the self-service link on Lululash's IG page. It was quick and painless. I really appreciated the text reminders two days before and on the day of the appointment! There was also a COVID-19 contract email to acknowledge and sign. I missed it but was able to easily sign it at the appointment! Arrival: Lululash is located inside of Salon Republic at The Paseo. The door was locked and clients have to text their technician to let them in. I appreciate the salon's mindfulness about the pandemic. Lu came and got me just a few minutes after I arrived. I also signed a standard lash liability waiver before we started. Appointment: Lu first asked me about my preferred lash style. It was super straightforward! Shoutout to Lu's gentle demeanor, the super plush recliner sofa, and the relaxing music! Despite being a little nervous in the beginning, I ended up drifting off several times. I had minimal discomfort and Lu explained every step clearly. Even during the waiting periods, she stayed with me whereas other estheticians would have gone away to multitask on something else. I felt safe and secure with her. Aftercare was explained super thoroughly too! Results: I was shook. Didn't know my downward-pointing, Asian lashes can point that high upwards! Maybe I was looking through a lash curtain my whole life? I'd definitely come back to enjoy Lu's artistry and savor some plushy comfort very soon. read more

When booking my appointment I saw that Lu was booked out for a few weeks, but I had to get in right away (yay work headshots)! Luckily, Hope had an availability that worked with my schedule and wow, OH WOW!! I have to say Lu is a PHENOMENAL teacher, because Hope REVIVED my lashes!! I had stopped lash extensions due to COVID and wasn't able to go back to my previous lash girl. Hope was SUPER SUPER gentle and super informative. She explained everything via text re the COVID procedures, where the salon was located etc etc. At the appointment, Hope answered all my questions and she also reassured me about the process and told me to feel comfortable speaking up if anything was not feeling right. I completely fell asleep during my session (I think I snored...tbh) and the next thing I knew I had BEAUTIFUL lashes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND LULULASH!! PS - Hope is a freaking angel - she's been answering all my follow-up questions and so nice about it!! read more

At other places my lashes usually half fall out by week 2, but here the retention is amazing! I'm at week 4 and even though some have fallen out (reasonable) I don't look crazy with huge missing gaps or anything. The ladies here are super nice and it's very cute inside. They wear masks and are serious about cleanliness and preventing the spread of infection also which is really important to me. Oh and the background music is always very relaxing too! read more

I almost don't want to write a review because she's my best kept secret to being and feeling beautiful, but I don't gate-keep and want to spread the love so here we go! When I say I spent months trying to find the best lash artist, I truly mean months. Not only do I have straight, downward facing Asian lashes, I've had awful experiences in the past with lash artists. The past experiences were so bad that it took me a couple years to consider getting extensions again. With that said, I finally found Lululash and followed her Instagram account months before actually making an appointment. When I finally did, she examined my lashes, my eyes and listened to every concern I had (and I had a lot). The lashes came out absolutely beautifully and I could not feel a thing! They're not heavy, they don't bother my eyes and they last for so long. Her attention to detail, care and precision is unlike any other. I missed her so much during COVID but just saw her yesterday again after an entire year. Her new place is gorgeous, easy to find and had the amazing experience I always have with her. lulu is absolutely amazing! she's the sweetest lash tech EVER and gave me everything i wanted + more! i contacted her via instagram and it was a very fast + easy process to book an appointment with her! she was able to work around my schedule, which i super appreciate. when i got to the appointment, i showed her a few photos of what i was thinking of. i know it wasn't her typical style of lash, but i appreciated that she was still willing to try and replicate something similar for me! her suite had a very calming atmosphere, with gentle music playing in the background and i felt extremely comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire experience. also to note - masks are required the entire time, lulu sanitized and work both a mask + face shield while she worked! she showed me the end result - amazing, and she even pulled off the strip lash style i requested! in addition, she also offered an add on of lower lashes - i never knew it was a thing but it really took my lash look to the next level. if you're looking for a new lash tech in pasadena - please book with lulu! i promise you'll have an amazing experience as well~ read more

Been going here for awhile; even I live over Westside of LA but I still willing to drive 30+ minutes to here to get my lashes done! Love the shape the quality the holds. It really stay well! Depend on ur lashes growing cycles, your own lashes might various, but over all mine will be good for at least 4 weeks! Friends and co-workers all asked me where I got my lashes done, and they said it looks really good and like my own lashes. This place is safe and clean, I fall asleep almost every time while doing lashes, a short beauty nap why not! Wish it's closer to me but for this quality and the results; I do not mind drive once a month from west la (almost close to Santa Monica) to visit them for a fabulous set of lashes! read more

I did some research…read moreonline and noticed that her website for booking was only for existing customers so I ended up reaching out to Elizabeth over IG to check if she was taking new customers, and she responded so quickly even though it was late and over the weekend. Elizabeth clarified that she is taking new customers, but would help to schedule the first appointment for me due to recent no-shows/cancellations, and then after my first appointment I would have access to her website for booking. I've been on a bit of a self-care binge as of late and getting facials was at the top of my list just due to my own concerns about hyperpigmentation. I discussed with Elizabeth over IG my concerns and decided to get the microdermabrasion facial. Upon arrival to my first appointment, I was greeted by Elizabeth's warm smile and friendly demeanor. Filled out some forms and then Elizabeth was able to see that a hydrodermabrasion facial would be better suited for my skin type (and though it's more expensive, since she quoted me a microdermabrasion, I was able to pay for micro price the first time). I've been to Elizabeth a couple times now and plan to make this a regular thing (hopefully every 4-6 weeks). Elizabeth has gentle hands and is super informative with any questions I had about skin and skincare. She even uses a steamer prior to extractions, which I love! She does different masks and LED light, and she will tell you what products she is using. Also includes a scalp, neck and shoulder massage. It always feels like a pampering session, and I have even been taking some pictures to compare for myself since it's harder to see the changes to my skin day-to-day. I always leave feeling refreshed. Highly recommend Elizabeth! Parking is street parking (directly in front can be challenging to back out of sometimes, otherwise, you can park on Chelsea and walk a little further over.) As a side note: it is a bit of a splurge to get facials, but Elizabeth caters her facials to your skin type and never pressures to purchase additional skincare products. I did purchase a lightening serum of her own brand (I think?) Sorella and have noticed a difference in evening my skin tone. Gratuity is always optional, but Elizabeth's system lets you add to your card payment if you want.

The person was speaking in Cantonese to another person in the background and kept informing me she was "busy today." Not a place that's capable of helping a customer who doesn't speak the same language nor anyone who wants to book in advance for their birthday. I'm sure you can walk in and get a massage at the rate they offer for that day but avoid this place if you're trying to celebrate your birthday or if you don't speak Cantonese. Vibes were off made me feel like if I was a male I wouldn't have had any problems.

The studio is very clean and peaceful, and she is the only lash tech I've ever had who will wash her hands each time between moving from different clients. Such a small detail but so important and I noticed this the first time I came to see her. Her work is always on point and each time, I leave her studio with the best lifted lashes. I specifically asked for a natural look and she absolutely nailed it! They're soft, pretty, and not overdone at all. Easily the best lash extensions I've gotten. I've been staring at myself in every mirror since leaving. Yuki was also incredibly sweet, the studio was comfortable, and the prices were super reasonable for the quality. Safe to say... Christa's salon is so cute and welcoming, I knew I was in good hands. She was so gentle with trimming my cuticles I didn't cry at all (normally I bleed while big crocodile tears roll down my cheeks). And she has an amazing selection of colors and product--Christa is a next level tech. Some of the products Christa used I have never even seen at other places. I could tell she cared about the quality of product she puts on her client's hands. I had reviewed her prices beforehand, and she told me her mantra was "nail art for all." I ended up going with black gel and a little negative space, and it looked amazing. I had random people on the street ask me today where I got my nails done. I am so happy with my nails! My design was fairly simple and i understood that now she was on a time crunch due to her having another client at 12 but was postponed since the client was also getting her hair done.. the only design i wanted was a silver cross on both of my ring fingers and i thought we were able to do both. She ended up asking me if i wanted to do the design on both ring fingers and i said yes but if you dont have time its fine since at that point i knew she ran out of time.. Im an understanding person and wasnt expecting much compensation but I felt disappointed at the service and my time not being valued. waited almost an hour for not even a complete design on both of my hands and paying the full price...
