Thank you to all the lovely ladies at Crystal Nails. You all do such a wonderful job every time! Everyone is so sweet and I always feel like a VIP! Kim crushed it today with these amazingly festive Xmas designs! Thank you so much!! Anyone who is looking for a place to get pampered this is the place! They are the absolute best in town!!
Yay, my first gel pedicure since the start of COVID-19! Glittery Red Toes for days!!! Thank you very much to Cherry for her fantastic work! Crystal Nails is located on Colorado Boulevard and Sunnyslope Avenue in Pasadena (about two to three blocks down from Target). They're located in the small strip plaza as Oseyo Shabu Shabu and across from KFC. Parking: Medium size parking in the small strip plaza. If it's full, there's always street parking on the side of Sunnyslope Avenue. During lockdown, I either painted and/or cut my own toenails. However, when it comes to nail shaping/filing and cuticle trimming, I leave that to the professionals. My toe nails were finally long enough to get a pedicure, along with TLC for my legs and feet. After an hour and 10 mins with Cherry, I walked out there feeling like a new woman with freshly painted toenails, yes! COVID-19 Safety Procedures: Face masks are worn by both patrons and employees. The employees wore gloves while working with patrons. Hand sanitizers are available and social distancing practiced. Every manicurists had their own cart with cleaned and sanitized tools. The place itself is clean and relaxing. Upon entrance, I was greeted by Owner Le, who had me picked out my Gel Polish - PND #184. Not sure what the name was, but my interpretation of, "Dorothy's Red Ruby Slippers" - especially, when the light hits my toenails just right - shimmery, bold red nails, yes!!! I may not always red lipstick, but I'm always down for red nails and/or toe nails! Also, I promised my Mom I would wear red again since she wasn't fond of my witchy, black nails for Halloween, lol! Afterwards, Cherry met me at the spa chair and we began our 1 hour and 10 mins session together. Service: Cherry was delightful to work with. She was sweet and professional. Her work was through and meticulous, and her touch was light and gentle. $40 Aromatherapy Treatment Pedicure + $15 Gel Pedicure; Grand Total $55. I enjoyed the splurge and this was what consisted of my treatment: 1. Aroma Spa Scent: I selected Cherry Blossom (Anti-Aging), which smelled divine and soothing while relaxing and soaking my feet the aromatic water jet. I also enjoyed the massage chair too, especially, the kneading button, lol! There was also a choice of Jasmine (Rejuvenate) or Lavender (Relaxation) scents too. 2. Cherry Blossom Sugar Scrub, Toenails Cleaned Up and Painted: Next, Cherry applied the Sugar Scrub to exfoliate the impurities away. This also smelled really good and the fine sugar crystals made me even more relaxed. She was also gentle with scrubbing my soles (easily ticklish). Afterwards, Cherry got down to cutting, shaping and filing. Her touch was gentle and meticulous throughout. She did a fantastic job with getting my hang nails out. She then looked up triumphantly and said "Feels better, huh?" Definitely, yes!!! Toes were feeling so clean and fresh, lol! She applied about three to four coats of the glittery red gel polish (along with base and top coats). Afterwards, she wiped my toenails with alcohol after the last curing. 3. Moisturizing and Nourishing Legs Mask and Warmed Steamed Towels: Cherry then applied the mask to my legs for a few minutes while she ran over to get the warmed steamed towels. Omg, this felt so good when she wrapped them around my legs. 4. Eight Minutes Reflexology Massage: Before the session was over, the Cherry Blossom scented lotion was generously applied and I enjoyed my reflexology massage. Cherry's massage pressure was light and my feet and legs feel greatly revived (especially, after walking around all day at Universal last Sunday, lol!). After I got my sandals on, I met Cherry at the cashier station for payment. She then presented me with a stamp card for future visits. She and Le thanked me again for coming and I was off my merry way. Overall, I enjoyed my session here at Crystal Nails and look forward to getting more future manicures and pedicures with them. Thanks again, Cherry and Crystal Nails!

Kim is amazing!! I made a last minute appointment for gel removal and regular mani and even though I had to wait for 15 minutes (that was my bad though) it was such an efficient appointment! I was able to remove my gel nail polish and get a new color all within 25 minutes and I made it to my next appointment on time! Kim was super efficient and I felt like she didn't cheap me out on any moments either. She also helped me with my purse and everything so I could run out of there with my nails still wet. THANK YOU SO MUCH KIM!! Total was $17 and worth every penny :).
Super clean and efficient. I called ahead and didn't have a reservation. They were able to accommodate me and I was in a chair without any issues. Had Terry help me out today. Amazing! She was meticulous in a good way. Took her time and really gave such awesome service. This was the first place that I ever saw a manicurist open the clean tools in front of you. Got a standard pedi ($28) and I'm happy about it.
First time get my nails done at Crystal Nails and the girl did an amazing job. I ask for Hailey Bieber nails but she modify them with ombre and Tin Man Can chrome. I'm very impress. This place will be my new nails place.
We've been going to Crystal Nails for years. Le and her outstanding crew of manicure/pedicurists are super aware of cleanliness, sanitation and health protocols. Unlike other salons I've been to (and not returned) tools are sealed in envelopes after being sanitized. She's reopened today (10/3) and ready for business.
*** Don't waste your money here *** I came in for a mani/pedi. The service was fine and the ladies were nice but the quality was really lacking here. I've gotten my nails done before and the places at least clean up the edges with some acetone if they need to. The person who did my manicure missed some areas with the top coat so it ended up looking streaky on the side of some nails. My friend came here for gel and it started chipping off within days. The gel just came right off and didn't even ruin her nails. I've done gel a few times before and never had that happen before. Usually it takes a lot of acetone for my gel to come off! I would go somewhere else
Soaking up the last days of summer weather in California in November! The design matches a summer dress which I cozied up with a Jean jacket . I absolutely recommend this nail place!
This place is amazing !!! Service is phenomenon Staff are very sweet! I was in and out in no time. They even helped me decide what to get and I don't regret it at all! I also brought my sister from Las Vegas here for a emergency pedi and medi , while she was visiting ! Thank you so much we will be back !
Lots of OPI colors. The ladies here are very nice and will do anything you want! Haven't tried a lot of nail design but they do have gemstones, etc. The spa chairs are brand new and sooo nice. I love that they offer parafin which I get on my feet al the time. They use gloves to protect your hands while they do gel manicures. It's a nice touch! You may pay with card but you can't tip on your card. I didn't have cash for tip one day and they said it was ok. I came back later to give a tip because I felt so bad! I don't think they are open on Sundays.
Nina was so pleasant and listened to me the entire time if I asked for something, and she was able to clean up my Covid eyebrows. I totally Lucked out finding this place and I'll definitely be back. Everyone knows all the customers and it's like meeting up with friends
I tried this salon on a whim, as I needed a mani/pedi before a 10am brunch--it was poor planning on my part. I drove by at 9am and saw that they were already open. I walked in and these lovely ladies sat me promptly. The salon is bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside, and it's very clean. My hands and feet were pampered and my nails are polished and pretty. The massage felt a little rushed, but I was also in a rush. Prices are comparable to other nail salons in the area. I'm satisfied with my service. read more

Pros: -Nice ladies -Walk ins welcome -Lots of polish to chose from -Sanitary Cons: -Sloppy work -$1 charge on credit card -No massage at the end of your gel manicure I wasn't impressed with the quality of work done here. Sloppy polish job, cut my cuticle, uneven. Probably won't come back but nice to try. read more

So I'm looking for a new nail place in Pasadena have been really disappointed in the last 4 nails shops that I have tried out and real disappointed in my go to nail shop that I was going to for over 7 years... anyways.... Came here because of the reviews and was not disappointed in and out in 45 mind then again I came in the morning and it was a Thursday... they did a real good job on cleaning my toes which is were my disappointment happens at other nails shops... and my manicure still looks good after 3 days of having it...usually the nail polish chips the next day... I enjoyed the fact that this place is clean and smells clean... lol.. will come back to check them out again maybe this will become my go to spot... read more
This nail place is so clean. The ladies there are really nice. I love that they are really friendly. All their equipment are sterile and bagged up. They have lots of colors to chose from. I will be going there for now on. Al the nail places in Eagle Rock are horrible. So worth the small drive to East Pasadena. read more
Based on the reviews I decided to try his place out. My first impression was this place seemed a bit outdated. However my experience changed my mind and I would go back here. They didn't disappoint me since they were nice people. The lady was attentive to my instructions about having sensitive cuticles and not taking off to much. She also did a detailed job of checking in to ensure that I was happy with the look of my nail. The prices are also incredibly reasonable. I got my gel nail removed and a manicure for $12. Unheard of great price. read more

I am a returning customer to this establishment. This time around I felt that not only are they polite they are very attentive. I took my daughter to get a mani and pedi and her experience was joyful. The lady that worked on her was so sweet. My daughter is special needs and the fact that they accommodated her was nice to see. Nails looked awesome. read more

Place is pretty clean and friendly. I highly recommend a manicure . Their options are limitless. I was looking for something specific and got exactly what I was seeing in my mind. It's amazing how experienced this location is. I got a full nail acrylic with red glotter polish and matte black , amd red stones. Pricy. was hoping for a hand massage as all other do it. But its different here. Also they didn't add cuticle oil which was a bummer because my cuticles were dry. Cemetery forgot to ask. Luckily I had lotion in my bag. Overall minor improvements and great location. Will be back soon read more

What I asked for vs what I got. I'm pleased with the service and the ladies are all incredibly nice and polite. This is one of the few times I've been to a nail salon where the technicians had a great attitude, especially for me coming in about 1.5 hours before closing time. I would call to make sure they're available for acrylics before you come in because I did see one person get turned away for coming in late. Price: Acrylic nails with gel polish + spa pedicure = $60 They charge $1 extra for credit/debit. Also bring cash for tips because you can't add it onto the charge. read more

Today was my first time. I called ahead & came by didn't need to wait at all. I got both feet and hands spa, cost $30 + $1 card fee. Tammy (Thu) did my hands and she's such a sweetheart. She took her time and gave me great information with all my Q&A. Although another lady who did my feet seemed really unhappy, maybe she's just tired. It's okay, we have our days. But anyways, I live quite far took me 20 30 minutes to drive, I left this place satisfied. Everyone is polite! :) I recommend any first timer to have Tammy do their nails! read more

I went in today for an "emergency" mani and pedicure, for the first time, they took me immediately, no waiting. The ladies were very nice and friendly. Asking at all times how I was doing. I was in an out in less than an hour with a very nice mani and pedi. I found my new place!! I would totally go back! read more

I was in need of a last minute manicure and was accommodated. With the holiday weekend, everyone was booked. So, I was grateful for getting in. They had a wide range of colors and are affordable. I left very pleased with my gel manicure. The manicurist was nice and place clean. Will be going back. read more

My go to nail techs are Mimi & Lee. They are consistently good and fast (which is important to me) because I'm constantly short on time. They know what they're doing and get the job done. The gel mani & pedi combo is $38. This salon is constantly busy so I suggest to make appointment before coming in. read more

I've been coming here for over a year since we moved to the area, and I like the place since they accept walk ins. No need for appointments. There's always available spot whenever you go. Not sure how this place even got 4 stars:( I live near by and this place attracted me by their great prices - $38 for gel mani and pedi, but you definitely get what you pay for. This was the worst manicure I have ever received. All the ladies seem very nice and friendly, but doing nails is not their talent. The total time it took for my soaking, filing and cuticle cutting was under 10 minutes, so sloppy, no attention to details. All my nails ended up different shapes, that look more like a perpendicular rather then a square. The nail polish was applied in probably 5 different layers as she couldn't get it even. It ended up really thick and still uneven. While my pedicure was actually good, my manicure looks like it was done by a child. Really disappointed, will not return here:( read more
