I would highly recommend Kwik-Key for all your locksmith needs! We contacted Kwik-Key for replacement keys; he gave us an estimated price over the phone and we set an appointment. Erik of Kwik-Key was right on time for our scheduled appointment. Before doing anything to the truck we had to show proof our ownership, which was easy to do. After he finished making our replacement truck keys, he said he had to program and then test the keys and that is when we ran into a little trouble; Eric took his time to track down the issue which was a broken fuse in the truck. He went above and beyond to track down the issue with the truck and even replaced the fuse (Which he only charged a small fee for the fuse). He was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. And of course, since we are in the middle of Covid-19 he wore his face mask the entire time he was here. On a recent Sunday morning, I left the house briefly and then found that my front door lock refused to unlock (the key fit in and turned, but the cylinder wouldn't budge). Called two 24-hour lock services. Erik of Kwik-Key called back in 10 minutes. The other hasn't returned my call yet. Erik said that he could make it out to my location within the hour. He showed up within 40 minutes. He was able to muscle the lock open with my key (after I'd ruined a spare key trying the same thing; guess he just has the touch). Since I no longer trusted the lock, I asked him to replace it. He was willing to replace it with same (moderate-quality) model, but I asked for a better-quality lock (he had both models in the truck). The lock works better than it ever did before. I have used Erik Bardoff 5 times now for a variety of problems in my home, my two children's homes, and the condominium building where one I am board president. His work is excellent, he comes on time and he is very reasonable in price. I have used a number of locksmiths throughout my life, and I think he stands out as being very cerebral and knowledgeable. Local Audi parts could not locate the key code in their database and told me they tell customers to purchase a new roof rack... (that was my expression, too). These guys are fantastic, I took in a 10 year old, 3rd generation key to a 1989 BMW that had broken off in the lock, and from the remains of the worn down stubble Erik managed to cut a new key that works. Erik showed up on time and replaced the front door deadbolt and the retrofit hardware for the entry knob, keyed the same as the deadbolt. He went the extra mile and did a great job.
