My 88 year old mother contacted this contractor in order to have deadbolts installed in her home on…read morethe front and back doors. A subcontractor was sent to the house to complete the work. The sub contractor was informed that both the door knob and deadbolt should be keyed alike to avoid having to use 2 keys. This also required the current door to be drilled in order to install the deadbolt. The sub contractor installed a dead bolt only and left the original doorknob which was not what was to be done. Additionally, she was told a credit card could be used originally. The sub contractor told her check only. Total for the installation of 2 deadbolts was $660. The work was worse than sub standard and is shown in the pictures. I wouldnt pay 6 dollars for this bullshit work. Since this work was subbed out, Doctor Locksmith is responsible for the work of the sub. There was no follow up from Dr. Locksmith and they wont answer the phone nor return any calls. The sub contractor will not answer or return messages either. The cost of this work should be refunded immediately. I am going to post this same review on every platform I can and will be making an in person visit. I would have given this a no star rating if it allowed me to.

We have just utilized this service through the Glen Burnie office, and Darrell, out technician was an excellent find. He was early, called in advance, demonstrated what he would do, completed the task in a timely (45 min) fashion, and set up payment and receipt in a jiffy. Basically, I was out of my car for a week having lost my key, called around, and arranged for a recommended freelancer to come and provide a replacement key/transponder. That gentleman showed up and after fifteen minutes, he revealed that he could not get through to GM for the key code. I was frustrated and called Pop-A-Lock. After having a really bad experience with another mobile locksmith (to the point we didn't even allow him to look at the car), I called MD 24/7 and Eli sent Byron right over (meaning in less than an half hour). Byron is what customer service dreams are made of. He was friendly and patient with a lock novice like me. He took the time to explain how my key worked and how it works with the cars security system. Eventually (after a couple to calls to confirm his suspicions), he told me that it actually is not the key that is causing the problem, but maybe the electrical system of the car. He then patiently explained it again to my SO (because, honestly, I could not grasp it enough to explain to someone else). After all the time he spent diagnosing that that key is not the issue (which you know, the average person would have made the key, charged us, and left before us figuring out it has nothing to do with the key), he didn't charge us, since we didn't really use his services! Byron spoke very highly of the company (which is always wonderful that the employees are happy because their bosses treat them well). He was patient and thorough.
