We gave them a call about replacing or re-keying some locks in a historic home. They came out when they said they would and looked at the doors. They told us they would get back to us with a quote for replacing or keying, but we never heard from them. It's been 2 weeks/ read more

Been shopping around for a locksmith as we need to replace a lock for car dealership in Gaithersburg area. After several quotes and visits we found this company that was pretty far away from us but looked like a reputable source for our matter. one of the team members, Udi, arrived (about 45 minutes away from us) and gave us the best deal and best service. Therefore I'm here leaving this review! Honest and transparent and super professional! We had our new lock for the business in less than an hour! 5 stars! read more

Annapolis Locksmith Squad - Before and after - we did the paint. Avi finished it off with a great lock/handle that really elevated the look of a very basic door. - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Annapolis, Maryland

I had a great experience with Mr Avi! I got my purse stolen last night, I contact this company and Mr Avi replied back with a price quote. I'd told my husband and he said to go head and make the appointment for the locksmith to come. An hour later Mr Avi was at my door ready to change my locks. First he offered us to rekey the locks - he said it's the cheaper option - so what he can do its to basically to disable the current key that I lost and to get a new key to work with our locks (I didn't even know that it's can be done!!) - but my husband preferred to get new locks that will be a better security to our home, Mr Avi offered us to go with MulTLock - and he and my husband talked about picking locks and making copies (I didn't really understand what they talked but for my understanding it's a lock that have some restriction about making keys and that not everyone can make a copy of the key and something with the pins that make the lock difficult to pick!!) 45 minutes later Mr Avi was done and we had 2 new locks. Thank you Mr Avi and Annapolis locksmith squad for coming to my rescue and for making my home safer! I highly recommend them for who ever need a locksmith in Annapolis! read more

By far the best locksmith in Annapolis Maryland! This guys are the best! We used Udi's services ones before when we just bought our house - and now we contacted Annapolis Locksmith Squad to install for us a keyless entry keypad deadbolt. Udi recommended us to go with the Schlage connect - this one have a backup key - that we can use the key in case we forget to change the batteries on time :) Udi was able to make the keypad backup cylinder works on our house key so we don't gonna have another key. Udi was friendly as always. We definitely recommend him and his company for anyone need an Annapolis locksmith service. 5 stars!!! read more

We just moved to the area and had a great experience changing our locks with Annapolis Locksmith Squad. Udi was very professional and helpful in explaining our options. When we discovered that one of our door's deadbolts lacked a key, he was able to replace it with a deadbolt from another door that we were replacing with a keypad anyway. He worked quickly and gave us some discounts on services since we were having several things done at once. When he was finished, he took the time to carefully explain & demonstrate everything we need to know about our new keypad. We would definitely recommend Annapolis Locksmith Squad to friends, and if we ever get locked out, they'll be the ones we call. read more

Terrible. Called them they told me 88$ to unlock my car. The gentlemen that got there told me it was 88$ plus a 35$ service fee and the total is 180$. The math was not adding up. So in the end he said. Ok just give me 150. Called the shop again and the owner/ guy on the phone told me that was wrong and he will call me right back. Never did. DONT USE. THEY ARE A SCAM. read more

Very happy with the end result using this locksmith company. Had to change the brass color of my deadbolt to a silver color and match the key to my regular lock on the same door. Took them minutes to install and process. Also had an issue with the the lock on the door to my balcony which they were able to solve quickly and save me a lot of money on. The locksmith was really nice to chat and do business with. Will refer them out to anyone in need. read more

Annapolis Locksmith Squad is amazing. I've used them on two occasions and plan to use them for all of my locksmith needs moving forward. Not only did they seamlessly change the locks on my apt. door and add a chain and a peephole as I'd requested. They also opened that very same door for me when I locked myself out and installed some equipment for my neighbor the same night. The technician (Avi) was extremely kindhearted and professional. He walked me through all of my lock options instead of trying to sell me the most expensive product. In the end, he installed what he thought would be best for my specific needs - security. He was careful and detailed-oriented and has even checked in since the install to make sure that I'm at ease in my new home. Additionally, and maybe even more importantly, they're responsive and fast. I was locked out of my apartment with not much time before I had to catch an international flight and within an hour of me calling, Avi was back to let me in. In the end, if you're looking for a Locksmith, choose Annapolis Locksmith Squad you will not be disappointed. read more

They were great! Avi was on time, very professional and made great recommendations to save me money in the long run as my nanny or housekeeper might change in the future and I don't want to have to keep changing the lock. I did have and issue with one of the locks a couple of weeks later where the key got stuck inside of it. Avi immediately came out and replaced it at no charge. This company is great! This is the best locksmith in Annapolis hands down! I had a problem with my storm dorm and they told it might be my 3 lock system, I wasn't sure at first but I gave them a try. Home security is important to me and I wanted a professional to change out my keyless entry and garage door keypad. Udi was very knowledgeable about the best brands and recommended what I needed. He and his brother have been in this business for a long time and they have customers all over MD and the DC area. It is a tough business which requires him to work long hours and travel for transit over long distances. You might have to be patient if it just a regular vs. emergency call but I don't have any regrets and would recommend Udi highly. He even adjusted my key lock and door jamb so it would fit perfectly...something our builder wouldn't even do. As I said, he really knows what he is doing. Remember, this is a skilled service you are seeking so don't expect it to be cheap. You get what you pay for and I am confident I got the best. I even added him to my phone and he is a prompt replier. Thanks, Udi. read more

This company is great! My family had the privilege of being taken care of by co-owner, Udi. He responded quickly to my request for a quote, but took the extra measure of requesting photos and then discussing the situation with me. In that short conversation and throughout the work, he educated me very well as a consumer. This gentleman knows his craft and has integrity! He was very methodical in his approach so as to get it done right the first time, but didn't rush through. Lastly, he went above and beyond by tightening the security door glass panes, too. He's a stickler for details and a family man so he understood the importance of this job for my elderly parents. He has earned all of our family business! read more

I'm a new homeowner and needed to get my locks rekeyed. Not only was Udi super professional, he was genuinely honest about the best locks for my needs and didn't try to upsell me on more expensive options. He was timely, calling me 30 minutes before he arrived, and made the whole experience super easy. If I ever need locksmith again, I'm calling Udi and team! Thank you, Udi! read more

Excellent, prompt service! We locked ourselves out of our house, with our infant and toddler, on a Sunday morning. Another locksmith service (who was clearly sleeping when we called) told us it would take an hour. We then found Annapolis Locksmith Squad and called Udi, who was very helpful. Daniel, the technician, called us immediately (he was already in his car on his way) and arrived in about 25 minutes. He was very professional and polite, and got us back in our house quickly. The total cost was 25% less than the first locksmith service we called. Wonderful service and company - highly recomended. read more

This place is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!!!! Avi's number is locked in my phone and I won't use anyone else. I am soooooooo pleased in so many ways. First of all, the emergency was a late Saturday night emergency. That didn't stop Avi from coming out to my salon to secure my business AND HE DID IT AT MIDNIGHT!!! Then with it being a high security key I needed more than the 3 keys that came with the install. He ordered them and delivered them right to my door. How convenient! He was extremely pleasant and professional too. Very friendly guy. Love this place!!! read more

This locksmith gave me free advice on how I could just cut off a cylindrical lock on my truck's trailer hitch pin using a Dremel tool. I bought the truck used and it came without a key for this lock. He even emailed me a picture of the Dremel bit that I could get from Home Depot! read more

This mobile company is very shady and I would not recommend them. I called and set up an appointment after them a picture of the lock that needed repair. I was given a quote of $130 for the job. After the tech arrived he proceeded to tell me the job was very difficult and that he would have to charge $200. Knowing that the door/lock was very old I agreed to pay. The repair was done and the lock worked initially while the tech was present. Afterwards we discovered that the lock cylinder (which was replaced) moved upon key insertion and we could not remove the key when that happened. We called and discussed with the owner of the company who said he would come by to fix it. After cancelling one appt. he arrived and said it was not fixable and that he could not refund our money due to only a 30 day warranty (which was never mentioned or written). He offered to install a deadbolt at a cost of $300. Upon further research I discovered this was a very high price. What gall. Stay away from this fly by night bunch! read more

I can't imagine these 5 star reviews are legitimate. I was quoted $15 to send a technician out and $35 to pick the lock. The lock was opened in less than 5 minutes. The technician arrived and charged me $210. He said this was a common occurrence, and that there were lots of unhappy customers who had the same experience - so who is writing these reviews? The Locksmith Squad supposedly sub-contracts out to another group - which is no problem if they charged the quoted price. Do not call this group for service under any circumstances. read more
