Warning: Do not hire 911 Locksmith.
After being told 911 Locksmith had over an hour wait, I hired ASAP Locksmith instead. A 911 Locksmith contractor then called me, falsely claiming to be from ASAP Locksmith -- and when I questioned him in person, he lied to my face twice.
He then drilled our lock without authorization. My husband explicitly told him to stop and withdrew consent mid-service. He also refused to provide a complete estimate, instead citing vague numbers for portions of the service while actively damaging our property. At the end, he demanded $550 by Zelle -- with no receipt -- for a job ASAP Locksmith later confirmed should cost $250.
When I contacted 911 Locksmith, I was met with complete stonewalling. After over a dozen calls, no manager has reached out and they have refused to provide an invoice. They have done nothing to address the fact that their contractor committed fraud.
This is not a local, trustworthy business. This is a predatory operation that enables fraud and criminal destruction of property.
Update: A "manager" called about my Google review and acknowledged that I was overcharged. She may have tried to trick me into deleting my review with a false offer of returning money. She promised to call me back but never did. A few days later I tried to call back but she had blocked my number. When I tried to call the main line for a manager, they tried to send a new locksmith to the house even though I was not locked out, which felt threatening.
Second update: after I updated my review of Manager called me back and said he was sorry that I was disappointed with my call with his assistant. He assured me that he would get me the information for the locksmith so I could file a formal complaint. But his number has been disconnected. read more
