Which gave me major decision paralysis. I was stuck between their fisherman's pizza with crab and smoked salmon and the Mexican picante. I got the superb soprasetta: it has some spice but it sweet at the same time with their honey glaze. The chefs special sure was special, with Alfredo sauce and heaping portions of mushroom, I thought I was eating pasta. Also, the pizza is cooked in a beautiful brick oven imported from Italy. The Mexican picante was good but I'd suggest trying out some other flavors first. The calzone was jam packed with meat, it's my first time trying calzone and I kind of thought it looked like a giant pop tart but oh man does it taste good, it's like a pizza and a sub in one. The chocolate pizza was a delicious treat and a unique menu item to try!

Insincere servers fishing for tips…read more We showed up for lunch. The place looked nice. The hostess said the tables in the covered patio were reserved but the group won't be coming for an hour so we can eat there if we want but we have to leave before the bigger party gets there. She recommended we sit further away on hard uncomfortable seats in the wind. What the heck? It was uncomfortable then another waitress with light brown hair came by and said "is there a problem?" I said "we would prefer to sit in the covered patio" She said it was okay but kind of made kind of a big deal about it. Treating me like I was being difficult when actually I was very polite considering how they were treating us. Reminding us repeatedly that a larger more important party is coming in an hour and treating us like we were a burden. It honestly just seemed like the servers are only thinking only about their tips and not wanting to serve a small family. She ignored our table the whole time. I didn't get any Parmesan. Because she never stopped to ask how the meal was. The server had someone bring the food. It wasn't even busy. She just didn't care. Our server basically did nothing but avoid us. The only time she was remotely friendly was when she handed my spouse the bill. Obviously fishing for tips. She asked what we are going to do after this and as I answered she looked away like she couldn't give an F. These bad servers need to go. Bad service always ruins a business. It really doesn't matter if the food is good when the servers are rude. We won't be coming back.

They do have great google reviews and the locals speak highly of this place. I got 4 pizzas because we heard so many good things about this new place. We ordered the classic Margherita (Tomato Sauce, Fior di Latte, Grana Padano and Fresh Basil). It was bland and weirdly salty. The sauce had no real flavor and the basil was minimal and old tasting. Crust is super chewy but no real flavor. Than we tried the Forager (Alfredo Sauce, Cremini Mushrooms, Mozzarella, Fior di Latte, Grana Padano, Thyme, Truffle Oil). I don't think we had any truffle, but there was oil (but too much). Mushrooms were great and this was the best of all pizzas. Then the Leo (Tomato Sauce, Ground Beef, Cremini Mushrooms, Fior di Latte, Mozzarella, Grana Padano). Bland. My mom got the Simple (Pancetta, Mozzarella, Grana Padano). The cheese was non existent, dry, and too salty. It was inedible. Maybe they are working out the kinks of being new but this was a disappointment.

There aren't many quality restaurants in Ladner, and I would hate to see a place like this shut down due to poor reviews. If you check on Google, you'll see that the majority of people who visited had a good experience. The first pizza I ordered from here was top-notch. I would definitely recommend this gem to others. Please give them a shot and don't be discouraged by the low ratings. My favorite is the forager (+ bacon). There's not enough pizza joints doing cream based sauces and this one is delicious!

Crusts are very well made and baked We ordered the serpent pizza and the japanese pizzas. Both have generous amount of toppings and the wasabi mayo is a great addition for the japanese pizza. The price of the serpent sounds high for a pizza. However the anount of seafood (5 lobster tails, prawns and smoked salmon) on the pizza make it worth the price. She wanted to show me a…read moredifferent side of the city, so she took me to Steveston and suggested that we go here for dinner. I love seafood, so it was an easy yes! It was easy to find, as there were already a few people waiting to place their order. It also helped that the delicious smell travelled like the wind around that area! Before we got there, we decided on which pizza to order to save time. When it was our turn, we were greeted by a young friendly lady at the cashier. We ordered the Water pizza ($37- which has shrimp, real crabmeat and basil pesto). Then she let us know that it will take 15-20 minutes to make it, so we can either relax in the dine-in area (located beside it) or walk around and come back then. We thought it would be a great idea to relax in the dine-in area, but as soon as we entered, it was too hot. There were not any windows that one could open nor any fans available to make the area feel cooler, so we left and walked around. When the time was up, I went to pick up the order and my friend looked for a bench where we could sit and eat. Finally, we sat down and ate a few slices- both of us agreed that it was delicious. The sauce and the toppings were fresh and generous, so we agreed that the high price point was fair. The only part which we didn't like was how thin the base was- it could not hold the sauce and the toppings very well, so we had to hold each slice well (otherwise, we lose everything on the slice). For the next few days, each of us ate them for our lunch and they were still delicious. If you are visiting Steveston, drop by and try their pizza!
