Finally got it our after about an hour of fiddling with everything I could think of ... WD 40, dish soap, etc. but didn't want to go through it again. Called and got a strange recording. Within minutes I got a call back and ended up texting with Sharon. She was patient and asked questions, and within a short time indicated someone could be at my house in about a half an hour, discussed what was the likely problem (something to do with pins in the mechanism), discussed replacing the component and the cost. They arrived a few minutes before the half hour estimate and the replacement was completed and they were out of here in less than 15 minutes. Now can leave house knowing the front door is both secure and I will not have problems getting my key out. Better yet, no delays while fighting to get the key out and can get to appointments on time. Had I known I would've called somewhere else or found a hook to do it. 11-18-23 I called at 8:33 am due to having my keys locked inside of my house. They arrived by 9:0The only lock that needed to be unlocked was the door knob which is a fairly simple lock mechanism regardless. I had seen online that it was $35 and he told me that was the service charge, so I'm trying to understand how I was charged $80 altogether, all the guy had to do was stick a hook in the crack in the space that I had made and pop it open. Semms like a very easy job. So why was I charged extra $45?!? For a 3 second no labor job? Maybe because I'm a single mother stuck outside with a child they charged for my urgency?

I ended up changing the bottom lock as well as the top lock. I wanted a good quality lock. He installed the same lock that he uses at his property. Saving money is not number one when looking for good security. Then I paid him to fix the sliding glass doors. The owner also helped me with hurricane shutters that would not close. He explained that shaking them and moving slowly while holding the upper and lower part of the accordion shutter works best. The prices were reasonable and the value for service received was good. I will definitely use Angel Locksmith every time I need a locksmith now.
