    Enjoyed my takeout from here, I had my eye on it for a while because of the jjangmyun noodles and they were yummy. Very squishy and the sauce was rich with some potatoes and pork mixed in. I really liked the dish and you can't find it all that many places. The hot stone bibimbap was great, I wish the bulgogi had a little more flavor but overall enjoyed it. I also tried the kalbi tang soup, which had a very nice nourishing broth and chunks of meat. If the flavors had been turned up a notch and the meat cooked a little less, it'd be 5 stars.

    Came back for lunch, this place slaps. It provides everything you need and want for a full on Ssam lunch. I've realized I've been coming here since my first visit every time I'm in the neighborhood. Oyster ssam box has everything you'd want with bossam. Everyone is very accommodating, attentive, and the vibes are great.

    The seafood stew was perfection, great amount of toppings and flavor. I was completely filled on the street, didn't even need the included bowl of rice. The beef stew was also good, very clear and healthy flavor, definitely not as filling in my opinion because all it had was soup(delicious though) and few pieces of big beef on bone with bowl of rice so had to order extra mandu beef dumplings which I'm surprised weren't just fried but deep fried so it was overly crispy. Still very tasty though just not the healthiest. The food also took reallyyy long to arrive but then they balanced that with the tastiest complimentary pear juice which was a great impression. Prices were justified as well, average in the area but great food compared to others in the area. Well done!

    I'm not Korean, and I've never been to Korea (outside of a layover in Seoul), but I'm still going to tell you that Kuun is authentic Korean food even though I'm not 100% sure I'm qualified to say so. I have been eating food (including a solid amount of Korean food) for decades though, and thus I think I am 100% qualified to tell you it's delicious. Seriously great. Everything we've had from the banchan to the pajeon to the kimbap to the japchae to the kalbi to the bibimbap to the bulgogi has been super, super tasty. I love that there is serious spice running throughout a lot of the dishes, and everything is cooked so well. I love the ssam boxes they have as a lunch special, with delicious meats, pickled vegetables and other delightful little things that I can wrap in lettuce and shove into my face. It's also an adorable little spot with high ceilings, great service, and just generally a place I am happy to eat. The only drawback is that it's a little pricey (I have a Korean friend who refuses to pay these prices for what she can cook). But the ssam boxes can feed two people with another appetizer added on, and it's not CRAZY expensive (their sister KBBQ spot next door verges on that), just a little more than I want to spend at lunch. So it's a treat, and not a staple of my diet.

    Small and clean spot hidden in the streets of brooklyn - the decor was simple and quaint but still made a statement. started off with rice cakes for apps and bibimbap for my entree. Overall, I think the dish needed more salt/sriracha or chili oil.

    Promptly greeted and seated with a reservation on a Saturday night. Deco-modern decor not reminiscent of a traditional Korean restaurant, but comfortable. A bit disappointed that they do not have the cook at your table setup that we love with the chosen proteins and endless Kimchee. Nevertheless the food was very good and fairly priced. Bulgogi and Chop Jae are my perennial go to and were tasty and well prepared.

    Glad we happened across this place. Spacious, modern, comfortable seating. Service was friendly. Although the food took a bit to come out (particularly noticeable with a hungry toddler who cleared the banchan dishes and asked for more), everything was worth the wait. I got the seafood jjamppong which was the best I've ever had. The broth was so rich from the seafood and had exactly the right amount of spicy kick without burning. There was so much seafood (clams, mussels, squid, shrimp, etc.) in the bowl, I needed my husband to finish it. The noodles were so good though, I didn't leave anything behind for him to try. Husband loved the pork jjajangmyun, his favorite go to dish, and he thought it was one of the best he ever had. They were able to accommodate his preference for spice with extra seasoning on the side. Got the chicken kalguksu for our son and he loved the noodles and veggies. He didn't care much for the shredded chicken but we finished the bowl for him. The broth was so savory and hearty. Would definitely return again.

    Kuun continues to impress me each time I visit. I tried the Makkun cocktail which was very delicious and would 10/10 recommend. This time around I also tried their la kalbi which was as delicious as my friends have said, but my only complaint is that it was a little too fatty. I would suggest using leaner pieces of meat or at least cutting out most of the fat.

    Been here twice since they remodeled. Lunch was great. Not busy. Dinner one was busier, happy for them. Best Korean food in the area and probably in the Fort Greene/Downtown BK area. So hard to find good Korean food in NYC unless you live near Ktown or in Queens. Price is appropriate for Korean food in a nice area and nice environment. $30-50 each with food and drinks. Big servings. A lot of leftovers being taken away. I love their hot pot Bibimbap and Kimbap (which is oddly so hard to find). Staff is nice and attentive and I think the change from dark black interior to tan wood is a big improvement. They even give Banchan if you eat alone.

    Came here last month for lunch on a weekday. The interior itself is very nice, clean and well-lit. We ordered their lunch sets and a jap chae to share. As with other korean restaurants, they provide banchans however I personally did not love it. I usually love the fish cakes but these ones did not feel like it was made the day of, it was a little hard and not enjoyable. Everything else was just okay. Jap chae came out first and personally thought the noodles were on the hard/chewier side. My husband thought it was good though because it was on the sweeter side. Our meals came out shortly after and I think the star of the meal was truly the meat! We got the bulgogi and short ribs and both were really tasty! They also give a decent amount per order. We left satisfied. Overall, we enjoyed the overall meal!

    Pretty good food and vibes! I think the price is a little too much for the portion they give. However I do enjoy the honey pork belly a lot and the kimchi soup! They also give one bowl of rice for each main dish we order so there was a lot of rice.

    New opened Korean restaurant at Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Great atmosphere and music for 3 stars but not a great experience. Nothing was surprising about food but they are ok. I would say luck of Umami and overcooked. I kinda wish it would be more than somewhat but service wise they could have been better.

We booked this reservation the same day, and watched spots get taken as we booked on the website! Street parking wasn't hard to find and we were greeted and seated immediately. We loved the calming atmosphere inside and had a table with a view of everything. After offering us water, we decided on drinks. I ordered the Velvet Reviver, which was described as an espresso martini meets a White Russian. It was delicious and almost like a dessert drink. My boyfriend ordered The Squid & The Whale which grew on all of us, especially paired with our food. To start, we shared the Yache pajun (vegetable scallion pancakes) and the Dukboki fundido (a Mexican inspired spicy, hot, cheesy dip with my favorite chewy Korean rice cakes inside). The scallion pancakes were delicious and had much more texture than once I have tried in the past, paired with a perfect vinegary sauce you can spoon on top. We all loved the dip and it was the perfect amount of spicy and comforting chewiness. I then was recommended a white wine to pair with the appetizer I chose as my entree, the Yeoneo. Each slice of salmon was incredibly fresh, and they were very generous with the amount of row that was served as well. The greens and avocado slices were great as well to add more texture. My boyfriend then ordered a yummy beer and the Daegu jorim. We absolutely adored this dish and noted that the cod had perfect structure to it, that almost mimic that of the deliciously cooked radishes in this dish. His mother ordered the ultimate comfort dish of the night, the Kalbi jjim (with no jalapeños). We were in awe at how the meat fell apart due to how tender it was. If you like melt in your mouth beef and stew like dishes, this is the dish for you. Our food was served with some banchan: amazing kimchi, myeolchi bokkeum (dried anchovies, much more mild than you'd expect), and kongjang (soy beans, also mild and with more chew than a typical edamame you might expect). We absolutely loved our dinner here and how helpful and kind the weight staff was, explaining different dishes and flavors, and clearing and switching out our plates at every turn.

The entrees were much better. The rice in the Bibimbop had a really yummy crispy layer. When all mixed together, it's a great melody of flavors and textures. The Bulgogi was equally enjoyable. Definitely recommend the red spicy sauce it comes with. We shared both entrees among 2 people and felt the portions sizes were decent - neither left hungry. The service was okay. We didn't seem to have a dedicated server. It felt like all the wait staff takes care of everyone simultaneously? Everyone was friendly; there was just a long wait for someone to come for our food order. If you're looking for an authentic experience with Korean food, this may be the spot for you.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout the meal. If there is one thing I would remember most from this visit, it is the level of care from the team.

The Spicy Bulgogi Fried Rice with Cheese was super savory, the sunnyside egg was cooked perfectly, and the portion was solid. I didn't care for the cheese and honestly could've done without and not noticed. It did need something to cut through the richness. I did enjoy the Beef Galbi much more! It is brought to the table sizzling and smelling amazing. It's savory, sweet, and smoky. I like that it's paired with kimchi & rice making this is complete meal. All in all, I was impressed with everything here! We were also a large party (7 people) yet everything was served correctly and in a timely fashion. Definitely recommend stopping by!
