The only one that wasn't a 10 was the crispy rice with spicy tuna, we both agreed we've had better. The sushi was melt in your mouth, gyoza super tasty, and ramen was filling and savory. Our server knew the menu in and out and helped a lot with recommendations. It was clean and lively without the noise being overwhelming. Definitely intend on coming back and trying a new ramen (and doubling back on the sushi and gyoza).

I usually order tonkotsu and am hesitant to try others since the broth makes all the difference but I ordered the shoyu ramen this time and it was delicious! I also ordered the house black tea with boba and cheese foam which was also oishii! I appreciated that they had brewed tea options since often find milk tea to be too much with food. Sometimes places that do both boba and food nail one, but not the other but this place was great on both fronts! Service was quick and friendly as well.

I would definitely go again. It seems like a cute date night spot. It's also right off the UoM campus so I can also seeing it being pretty busy during the school year. I also feel like it's worth noting that they have parking in the back. I didn't know this and parked in the school lot since it was after 4 pm.

The restaurant describes their dishes as "Sapporo Style," meaning that they could suffice as a main dish and are cooked in a wok, seasoned with roasted garlic and onion. Both of our dishes were from the Specials Menu: his the Miso Tan-Tan Men (with sesame paste, hot sesame oil, bok choy, scallion, ground pork) and mine the Hot & Sour Ramen (with sliced pork, egg drop, tofu, assorted veg and sesame oil). The bowls were entrée size and beautifully prepared. The ramens didn't seem fresh cut noodles, like you may find elsewhere, but the delicious full-bodied soups more than made up for that. Some might find the prices high for considering what you get, especially for me compared to NYC similar hole-in-the-walls, yet when in the area I'd recommend Ren's Ramen. It was totally enjoyable and I'd go back excited to also explore other items on their menu.

The sushi rolls were pick any 2 for $13. Absolutely fantastic rolls. I came in for the volcano bowl and I would come back again for the volcano bowl. I like a spicy broth and this was perfect. The skinny noodles are wheat noodles, but didn't taste any different from regular noodles. The bento box was very good as well. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the teriyaki sauce was excellent. The waitress was really good and finished the night with some complimentary bites of the mochi. Great night, great food, great people! Compliments to all from the servers to the chefs!

I would give them a 3.75 stars because I wish they offered more ramen like beef and with the chicken broth not chicken that's fried. As the chicken was soggy and not eatable when I got home even though it was separated from the ramen. I would give them another try if I'm in the area to try more rolls and their alcohol selection.

I tried Child #1's soup and it was fine, though I will say whatever the mushrooms were (woodear, I think), they were fantastic, with a nice marinade and prepared so well. The rolls were fine. My sweet potato was clearly fresh-fried, so it was warm inside the rice, which was a bit surprising. On one hand, a bit crispier. On the other, hot sushi. Our waiter was attentive and the food came out relatively quickly. Prices were fair.
