They have a menu that goes beyond just your typical noodle soups - items ranging from Malaysian‑style curry laksa, spicy roasted duck ramen, to XO sauce dry noodles! We tried a few things and everything felt fresh and satisfying. The house special curry laksa had a rich, creamy broth with just the right amount of spice, and the duck dishes were especially good with tender meat and savory sauces that clung perfectly to the noodles. The small bites like spring rolls and dumplings were nice starters for our group of 4. The service was friendly and quick, with generous portions - exactly the spot we were looking for! I'll be coming back to try even more off the menu next time.

The spring rolls were really crispy and the sauce that they use on the side adds a nice sweetness to it. My favorite part of my meal however were the noodles. The noodles were flavorful and the duck was tender. I also loved how generous the portions are and the price is very affordable. If you're into affordability, generous portions, high quality noodles, and great service, I highly recommend checking this spot out. Try it out if you like. :)

There's usually a long line, but if you go at lunch or off hours there's no wait. I've ordered takeout too and it tastes just as good. The chicken karaage is good too, nice big pieces. Service is good and the place is clean. One bad experience: I brought family from out of town once, waited in the long line, and we got seated outside on a very hot day -- then they forgot our order after we'd placed it. But every other visit has had good service, so I'll chalk that one up to an off day.

We also had the squid and gyoza appetizers. Food was well prepared and tasty, even if the service was harried and uneven. A few servers knocked into my friend and one even spilled on her while clearing dishes from the neighboring table. The staff also hovered as we were finishing our meal and asked several times if we were done/needed anything else and then less subtly if we could vacate the table. Also, we had placed ourselves on the Yelp waitlist instead of standing in the line outside and then were told when we went to check in that they don't use the Yelp waitlist, and that set us back a half hour. The food is great, but the logistics could use some work.

Are you looking for Lanzhou Beef Noodles? Keep looking. Aside from the decor and Chinese speaking…read moreservice, this place does not give me any other authentic vibe, much less the taste and presentation. Service is fast but somehow rude (our server never smiled). You order via QR code and the dishes don't all come together. I ordered a Lanzhou noodle and a Xinjiang Noodle with a side of beef, and while the prices seem very fair, the amount of substance reflects the price. The noodles are minimal, and they only give you a few beef slices in the Lanzhou noodles. You would have to order to combo with skewers to feel full. Although the noodles are handpulled, they have a texture that was a little too tough. The soup tasted HEAVILY of powder seasonings instead of actual broth, and I did not take more than a few sips. It came with a lot of spicy oil, but the noodle dish barely had a kick. The Xinjiang noodle was basically an American Chinese takeout beef with noodles. The beef was both tender yet hard to chew, probably from the amount of starch/baking soda during marination. I did not taste a hint of cumin, which is a staple in Xinjiang cuisine involving meats. Although this dish had more value than the Lanzhou noodles, do not have high hopes on the taste profile or presentation. The only redeeming dish was the side of beef we got. It was flavorful and came with a relatively thick stack, and we foolishly thought it was all beef. However, under the thin layer of beef, a bunch of cucumbers shockingly came into view, and I felt ripped off for paying $11 for essentially 6 pieces of meat. The service was nonexistent, except during checkout. We had a question during checkout since a dish of ours was cancelled, and the server did not seem to know what we were talking about. The food also does not come out in a good pace; we got our beef noodles halfway into our meal, and the table of 2 next to us did not get their second order of noodles until 10min after the first one.
