Mom and I came here for an AYCE sushi dinner and we ended up really enjoying everything. Their menu is honestly huge and you definitely won't run out of things to try. We ordered a mix of sashimi, sushi, appetizers, and some hot items, and everything came out looking fresh and tasted solid. One of the standouts for us was the creamy mussels with white wine. I wasn't expecting much, but they were actually so flavourful and cooked perfectly... it's super tender and not overdone. The Kung Fu roll was another favourite. It had a really good balance of flavours and textures, and it stood out from the usual AYCE rolls you see everywhere. We also tried a bunch of other dishes throughout the night and everything was consistent. Portions were just the right size too, so you can try more without feeling overwhelmed. Service was friendly and pretty quick considering how busy it got. Staff checked in often, and our orders came out steadily without long gaps. The vibe is casual, comfortable, and easygoing, good for a chill dinner, catching up with someone, or just satisfying a sushi craving without overthinking it. Overall, a solid AYCE spot. Good food, lots of choices, and a smooth experience from start to finish. Would definitely come back whenever the sushi craving hits again

If you're craving all-you-can-eat sushi around Lawrence West, this spot is where I usually go--and honestly, it does not disappoint. The interior vibes are fun too--they play a lot of K-pop, so if you're into that, you'll feel right at home. The food comes out clean, neat, and fresh. Servers are very friendly and kids friendly environment, too Prices are surprisingly reasonable compared to downtown all-you-can-eat sushi spots. The sashimi is super fresh, and don't sleep on the fried wings--they're actually amazing. If you're wandering around Lawrence West looking for AYCE sushi, this place is a solid pick. Grab a few friends, come hungry, and prepare to feast!

Kung Fu Tea & Sushi is a decent Japanese/Chinese AYCE spot. While their sushi and Sui Mai were really meh (the fish was not creamy/fatty to my liking & all sushi was full of rice), their grilled & deep-fried dishes were phenomenal. My mom and I REALLY enjoyed their tempura dishes and beef green onion negimaki. All the tempuras we had here (vegetables, shrimp, and Kani) were definitely tops of the game. The batter had so much integrity while being very airy & crispy, and the vegetables (eggplants & zucchini) were juicy and thick. The beef negimaki? They were grilled to perfection. The other two dishes I enjoyed were their Chinese desserts: ice jelly with raisins and red sugar fried rice balls. I had quite a bit of those. The sushi was really mid-doe. :/ I think I'd definitely come back for their tempura bentos, dinners, or something of that sort. Probably not the AYCE. My mom and I thought that Kung Fu may be good with their cooked Chinese-style dishes, as it seemed that the owner may be from Chengdu, Sichuan (since they had desserts like Ice Jelly with raisins and red sugar fried rice balls--both iconic in Chengdu and super specific - not like something you'd see in a sushi acye restaurant lmao). Great service. Ok interior - a bit old and musky with the bubble tea smells. Not the biggest fan. Tldr Imo: perhaps don't get the sushi/dim sum here, get the fried and grilled dishes.

Seriously impressed by this all you can eat sushi that is connected to the bbt Kung Fu Tea. What a great combine concept. So many dishes offered, and the presentations were so pretty. And the food was very fresh too. I would definitely go back.

3.5/5 rounded to 4/5 Kung Fu Sushi's all you can eat has always been on my radar so I was excited to try it. We came here on a weekend lunch right after they opened and were seated right away. The restaurant got quite busy pretty quicky. Here are my review - fav appetizers: crab salad, seaweed salad, fried scallops, miso soup - dim sum was okay: I liked the shrimp dumplings and shrimp siu mai but they were quite filling - skip the tempura, it wasn't that crunchy and actually a bit soggy - sushi had lots of rice - torched sushi were my favourite, not that many options but so good - the special rolls were PACKED, really big and filling - we ordered some of the yakitori which never came - limited dessert options, we both had a sundae but it was just vanilla ice cream with some sauce. The "crystal honey ice jelly" was quite weird and we did not enjoy that dessert. The robots bring food to your table and at the beginning they weren't as quick but then afterwards we got all our food at once. Service was good, noticed there was cross contamination (servers using the same pair of gloves for everything). Unsure if this place is a must to come back to but I did enjoy the experience.

The service was great. They are very observant and would refill napkins water ginger if seen empty. The food was okay. Some were good, others were meh. Some had a lot of rice. The sashimis were nice and fat. I was not a fan of most of the salmon choices even thought i love salmon. The place is nice and have a robot server. I forgot to take pictures

Another good location for all you can eat Japanese cuisine. We came in lunch time and ordered AYCE dinner which is $37.99 for adult . We ordered a variety of foods, sashimi is fresh, shush is good quality too. They also have torched/ pressed sushi, which are delicious and fresh too! Service is fast and staff is friendly and can speak Mandarin. The only thing is seating area is a bit messy, and with loud Korean singing group playing on the big screen repeatedly, which is annoying and loud. Overall good food with good service, hope the background ground music and atmosphere can be improved and more enjoyable.

Actually so so soooo surprised at how good this place is! As usual, I found out about this place through social media. I haven't been to AYCE in forever, so I didn't really know what to expect. Booking online was super easy through Google, or you can call and make a reso. It has to be for a party of at least 5 though. Making a reso is recommended because this place is busy! The food is pretty good all around. Our favourites were the torched sushi, pressed sushi, eel sashimi, mango yogurt. So good! Dim sum was good, but not the best we've had. But for the price you pay, I was really impressed with the quality of food. They even took the time to plate everything nicely. Service was superb. They took away our empty plates so fast that I had trouble finding a plate to put my shrimp tail on lol Our were topped up frequently and it was never hard to wave a server down. I even asked if I could pay with two different card and it was no problem. The staff was patient and very nice about it when I was having issues with one of my cards! Our entire group loved this place and left so stuffed. Wish we could eat more! Definitely will be back.

The hubs was influenced on IG and drawn in by the fact that they have a promo that you can get a bubble tea WITH your meal?! Without the kids, we had spent most of the morning shopping and so we came in hungry at 1pm. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. They use iPads for ordering which was great to remind us what we'd ordered and what was still to come. Presentation fo the food was great and the fish seemed fresh. We were saying how it was better than some places downtown that we'd ordered platters from. The dim sum was kind of... an after thought - I'd pass on those (except maybe the custard bun, yum!). There were a couple of mistakes with our orders which was a bit of a head scratcher since we had inputted it but it wasn't a huge deal for us. We'd def consider bringing family back here! The seating/room was spacious and had large tables as well as booths. I'm no K-pop fan but they had a few TVs showing music videos, if you're into that. Note, you need to follow them on Instagram for the bubble tea and we decided to get it to go and drink it at home while watching TOC 5

Very much enjoyed this! I don't do ayce often anymore cuz i prefer quality over quantity. But this place surprising offered both! Apart from the basics, they offer menu items that are unique and rarely at other ayce options. Above all, you can order kung fu bbt while dining here. I believe u can get a free bbt if you write a google review. Oysters are extra. But just the ayce menu is more than enough. $37.99 for adults on weekdays. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Food came out super quick and no items missed. Propr to that for an ayce restaurant, we all know how it is sometimes.

Had an amazing AYCE dinner experience at this place a few days back. They have a large variety of sushis in their menu and they're all so fresh. The service is pretty fast too and the ambiance is pretty good for an AYCE spot. All in all a great experience!

I ordered the bento box takeout meal great deal for $19 ... I got 3 make out all this. You get one choice of teriyaki one snack and one roll. I chose chicken teriyaki, coconut shrimp and spicy salmon roll. Comes with soup and salad. The spicy salmon roll was delicious but not really spicy. The teriyaki sauce was really good but I found the chicken was a little dry. I would buy again. Maybe change my teriyaki choice.

I got a takeout party tray! it was super yummy and presentation was beautiful!!! the quality was up there compared to other sushi restaurants, im surprised and i would definitely dine for AYCE

I was dining solo today, so I only ordered one dish: the Khao Soi Soft‑Shell Crab, which was marked as a recommended item on the menu. The curry noodle soup itself was delicious, with that classic Thai‑style sweet curry flavour. But the protein‑to‑noodle ratio was disappointing. It was a serious noodle overload, noodles in the soup plus a pile of crispy fried egg noodles on top. Carb coma incoming. The toppings were minimal: a few bean sprouts and a small fried soft‑shell crab. The crab was tasty, but overall the dish didn't feel like good value for the price. It's something I'm glad I tried once, but I'd move on to another dish next time.

He had the fried chicken wings & said they were delicious. When I arrived I ordered the beef pad thai. It came relatively quickly & was really delicious. I would definitely come back & try some other dishes. Service I was surprised that my husband & I were the only people in the restaurant. Hubby said that they had been doing mostly take out orders. In any case, service was attentive & polite. There was a young man who took my order and another lady who was preparing things around the restaurant. It was relaxed and a nice atmosphere. Ambiance It's very colourful inside the restaurant. The walls are painted with cute designs. I liked it. The washrooms are down the hall on the main level. I didn't like how cluttered that hallway is though. I hope they clear away some of the restaurant supplies from that hallway to the bathroom. The women's washroom was clean. However one of the cabinets in the washroom was full of dust on the top. It's kind of strange because the toilet & sink itself were very clean. Overall I think if they did a few improvements I would rate the ambiance of the restaurant better than 3.5. The food & service were otherwise really good here. Next time I'm in the area I will come back & try a different dish.

Our mains included spicy green curry, honey ginger beef, pad thai, pad kee mao, pad see ew, and the pineapple fried rice. I got to try a bit of every main and found the noodle dishes were on the saltier side. My green curry had a rich coconut flavour and had an ample amount of thai red chillies however I found it was not that spicy. The curry came out with rice and it was a good portion. The sauce was coconut flavoured curry. I thought the beef was a little on the dry side but overall loved the dish (8/10) Pad Thai with chicken - sweet and tangy, very delicious. The portion size was really good too, perfect for sharing (9/10) Paid Northern Assorted appetizer - this was a huge surprise, we didn't expect the dish to be this massive! This dish included, a Thai pork salad, sticky rice, fried papaya (this was amazing), cucumber, pork skewers and Thai sausage. Just keep in mind that this dish is more expensive than two entrees. (65$) 9/10 Overall we loved our dinner at Pai, we ended up having a lot of take out because we underestimated how large the appetizer dish would be. Highly recommend Total spent was 158$ after tax and tip, but we over ordered for two, our take out was enough for 3 meals.

This location had space open on OpenTable, so I made reservations and went. Similar to the other location, the space is vibrant and looks like what a restaurant would look like when in Thailand. We were immediately seated and got our menus. We ordered two things: - Pad Thai: Very good. Authentic, using tamarind, and nicely balanced. Noodles still have a chew. How pad thai should be. - Pad Gra Prow: Very good. Rice is the perfect texture. Stir fry portion is delicious. Another shining example of what Pad Gra Pow how should be made. Service was a bit slow, and not the warmest, but was generally ok. Overall, great Thai food worth coming back for.
