When looking for sushi on Ubereats I always order from here and it's consistently good. We came to the actual location to do their AYCE. Parking lot is a little busy but the service makes up for it. Lots of seating and it's iPad ordering. The staff members are pleasant and quick. Everything tastes good !

Aira Sushi is a cozy spot with fresh, tasty sashimi and sushi and a simple, welcoming vibe. The menu has a good mix of rolls, sashimi, and small plates to share. It's an easy place to enjoy a relaxed meal without feeling rushed. You can either choose AYCE or à la carte menu. We visited here for a weekend lunch and ordered dinner AYCE menu. We enjoyed fresh sashimi and creative maki rolls; great combination of fresh ingredients and tasty dressing. The staff are friendly and quick to help; all your order items will be served in a timely fashion. There are parking spots available in the plaza.

AYCE

Another good Japanese restaurant serving AYCE , and 20%discount if you pay cash on weekdays lunch time. Menu options are plenty, serving robot is cute and fast. Quality is average. It's quite small compared to other Japanese restaurants nearby, so you can actually talk to your friends and hear each other here. I also tried their takeout menu, it's pretty easy and fast.

Can you imagine starting your business during Covid and still thriving until the present without social media presence? Aira sushi just did it! For more than 5 years now, this spot has been serving the Richmond Hill community with their amazing Japanese dishes like sushi, sashimi; they even have breaded crab claws. But surprisingly, what stood out during our meal was the General Tso chicken - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They even got dimsum included in their AYCE. Don't forget to try their drinks. I love the Lychee Iced Tea! Currently, they are having an unbeatable promotion for their AYCE. Customers who visit Monday - Thursday (except holiday) from 11:30AM - 3:30PM can get 20% off. To save you guys from doing Math, the adult price will go down to $33.59 per person (CASH ONLY). They only have 1 menu for lunch and dinner so think about all the sashimi you'll get at the discounted price! Regular prices as of September 14, 2025 (all day): Adult: $41.99 Senior: $39.99 Kids (5-10y/o): $29.99

Tempura shrimp roll and california roll

Ordered through uber eats with a friend so I'm not sure what the ambiance is like. We got the food really quickly so I think their service is quick in terms of making the food. I got a lunch special - 2 rolls. I got california roll and tempura shrimp roll. They were decent. The rice was fresh. It came with miso soup and salad. The miso soup is standard. I liked the salad, the dressing is different from other sushi places. This is me if a seasame based sauce. Overall - 4/5: I want to try other menu items in store

We were looking for nearby restaurant and we found this cozy hidden sushi. AYCE and ala cart options available. Food is fresh and amazing. Veggie options available. Robot delivered some of our order. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Discount for lunch on weekdays. Cash preferred. Overall I'm glad to stumble upon this place and I'm surely coming back.

Red dragon roll and green dragon roll

Aira sushi is doing buy one get one free for selected items on Uber eats currently, so I ordered their green dragon roll (dynamite roll topped with avacado) and red dragon roll (dynamite roll topped with salmon) takeout. The sushi was okay fresh and with good portion. With the average quality, it would be expensive if it is at regular price ($20 per 8 piece roll).

Sashimi (dinner only) amd various options.

Food is good. Similar to other Japanese AYCE. Service is prompt, food came in timely manner. This restaurant is busier for take out and delivery, so, not very busy for dine-in, which allow for quite nice and quiet dinner. The cat robot is so cute.

Staple and plastic found in the sushi
Max T.

Been coming here since the store opened up, came here on a date to have my date witness me pull a staple from a stapler out of my mouth after eating a salmon sushi roll, extremely dissatisfied and disappointed! Leads me to think if I found a staple what other lack of care is not being attended to! I'm glad I did not eat the plastic piece I found or the metal! Could of caused some serious damage

As restaurants slowly begin to re-open under the "new normal" my wife and I decided to pay this place a visit, as it just happened to open right around the beginning of the pandemic, and we were curious how they were implementing safety measures. This restaurant is located where "Willys Chinese Cuisine" used to be on the east side of Yonge street. There is plenty of parking so no worries to be had there. When first entering the restaurant, there is a small table set up where you sign in and provide your personal info, as well this is where they put any take out orders for delivery drivers to pick up from. This was a good idea as it prevents extra people from roaming too far in and out of the store. We were seated right in the middle of the restaurant and it was very well spaced out. We were provided bottles of water, instead of cups of water which was appreciated for cleanliness. We were also provided disposable chopsticks, which also was appreciated. The only things that were reusable were the plates and the soy sauce bottle. They use an iPad order system, so again it minimizes the interaction between you and the server. Really the only time you interact is when they give you food, and take payment. Overall I definitely felt pretty safe eating here given the whole situation with the world right now. Now food wise, they are quite decent if not on par with any other sushi AYCE restaurants. Unfortunately I didnt get any lasting impressions from the food - Which is not to say that it was bad per say. It just didnt wow me in any way that anything in particular stuck out - So the food was more then adequate and satisfying for an AYCE sushi The one thing I did appreciate though was that the rolls didnt have a lot of rice in them, compared to other AYCE restaurants where they make the rolls 70% rice. So really, I cant fault any of the food, the safety measures that they were following was also very good and a welcome site. Service was good to quite good as well and very attentive. All in all I would not hesitate to go back to Aira - Even during a pandemic :)

Sashimi

Great food, really nice atmosphere, and welcoming staff, would definitely recommend and I will be coming back!

The restaurant is super quiet and they offer great quality of food with great service, and the price is expensive if you choose to order sukiyaki set (expect $80+ per person). You can choose between sushi sets at different price level or sukiyaki from the menu. This suits the need of our group given some people prefer sushi but some couldn't eat raw food. They also offer a couple of limited appetizer dishes such as tempuras and unagi don. If you booked the sukiyaki table and want to order sushi, you need to call them in advance to notify which sushi sets you want. We tried the sashimi and sushi courses at $55, which included miso soup, 5 pieces of sashimi, 8 pieces of sushi (squid, toros, salmon, scallop etc.), handroll and matcha or black sesame icecream at your choice. The sushi is smaller than average, suitable for small eaters. The course is totally worth the money. I love every piece of sashimi and my favourite sushi include the scallop and the squid. Everything was super fresh. The dessert was also having the perfect sweetness level for me. In addition, we also tried the sukiyaki for two ($110), which includes mushrooms, cabbages, great quality of Angus beef, yummy tofu and udon. Again, all the material was with great quality and super fresh. I especially liked the sweet sukiyaki soup, the tofu and the udon. We also ordered some shareable dishes including chawanmushi, unagi don and cod. Cod was cooked to perfect (soft and flavourful), and unagi don had quite decent portion. It would be better if the unagi could be softer from my personal opinion. Chawanmushi was mediocre. Overall, I strongly recommend this restaurant to fan of Japanese cuisine. It meets different people's needs by offering both cooked and raw food options, and the sushi set definitely has great value for money.

We were ushered through the tranquil restaurant and seated at the sushi bar, a zen ambience. We chose the $55 sushi+sashimi omakase lunch course, and it didn't disappoint. The eight pieces of nigiri featured a somewhat typical selection of fish (and hotate/scallop), but slightly edgy and unique in the choice of seasoning and flavours, prepared by Chef Takinami with all the pomp and ceremony and you would expect from fine omakase. The pacing was excellent, we never felt rushed from piece to piece; the wait staff were attentive as would be expected from a high-end Japanese restaurant, on par with omakases that cost three times as much. Overall, incredible value on the meal, for both the food and experience. We couldn't help but look around at what the regulars were enjoying (in addition to their omakase nigiri) -- botan ebi nigiri with deep fried shrimp heads, chawanmushi, cooked dishes featuring monk fish livers, tempura appetizers and more... some great ideas for our next visit!

You heard me, I didn't need to save money for months or really wait until it was a special occasion to make a reservation. You have the choice of a $45 or $65 lunch menu. Both my partner and I chose the $65 option and we were definitely full. Because it was Monday, we were the only ones at 11:30am and loved the experience. The restaurant did start filling up at noon, but we really enjoyed our time there. Other than the snowcrab, every single piece of sashimi and nigiri were spot on. I really don't think you can find fresh fish and such excellent service for this price. A normal meal is around $40 nowadays, so why not treat yourself a little better and come to ATO?

Came here pretty late at night after the dinner rush for some take out since I was in the area. Got greeted immediately by staff, it wasn't too busy on a weeknight around 9PM. Got two items: Orangeville roll 5/5 - Always my favourite. I love the filling to rice ratio and I feel like it's always packed to the brim. Always fresh! Spicy salmon roll 5/5 - A classic and I love that they fill it with so much spicy salmon in the roll vs. rice.
