The first three times no one answered and two other times the line was busy. Since the pandemic, you would think there would be an online ordering system, but nope (except ubereats of course). I ordered the Aburi Hako Sushi (Rainbow) and Chirashi. For the aburi, rice was hard with some avocado in the middle. I thought it was wasabi at first. The best sushi in the north end of York Region!! I have never personally dined in but I've ordered takeout several times and have never been disappointed with any of the rolls. Though a bit pricier than other sushi restaurants in the area, the quality will make you forget the price! My favourite roll is the valentine roll. It comes with 8 very large pieces with the perfect ratio of rice to fillings. The sashimi is always fresh and the veggies always crisp. The spicy tuna roll is another one of my favourites and a great value option. I have ordered online through a food delivery app and have also called in and the staff have always been very friendly and polite. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the special rolls. Maybe I got high expectations after reading all the five stars reviews, It is good but not super special. We ordered sushi/rolls/sashimi platter (small-42 pcs) Which comes with 18 pieces of sashimi, 12 pieces of assorted sushi, 6 Pieces of California rolls and 6 pieces of spicy salmon rolls $53, The Orangeville rolls was $17, and the takoyaki 6 pieces was $8. We ordered through Uber eats and the total cost with fees just came under $100 which is a tad bit pricey. But I guess that's why how delivery is. What can we do, with covid... The platter overall was fine. I think the rolls are better than the sushi. The California rolls are very fresh, the tempura bits in the spicy salmon rolls also still have the little crisp. And the size of both of the Maki rolls are pretty big and they are rolled very neat and round. The sushi however was not that great because the rice are pretty hard and tightly packed. It also does not have much of a vinegar flavor to it the size however was not to big which is good. The sashimi overall was quite fresh and not too fishy. Also has a thick and big cut which was nice. I hope that they have a platter that does not come with the sushi. Or we may have to just order the rolls platter and get a sashimi platter on the side. The Orangeville special rolls was pretty good. The restaurant is a decent size and could easily hold larger groups if requested. It was very clean and nicely decorated, and the staff was very nice. I really enjoyed the ambiance here. For food, we decided to try the Sushi Roll Boat with a few extra rolls added to share, a tempura appetizer and the chicken udon meal. As an appetizer, they gave everyone a small bowl of noodles with delicious soup. We all loved it and I could have eaten a whole bowl if it was an option. The food was delicious and fresh, sushi was really tasty and had a lot of different types of rolls. The boat was also very very large and fed our group to the brim. The prices were very reasonable especially with the great quality. Overall I would definitely return here to try other dishes. Decided to try this place as wanted to grab a nice dinner without having to go all the way south to Markham. This restaurant was relatively new and has underground parking.. though you do have to take a few steps outside on ground level to get to the restaurant itself.. but a very nice bonus in the winter to keep the car warm and not have to brush off snow. Upon entering.. the restaurant was very busy and wooden decor was nice. A lot of booth seats with walls and curtains that separate for privacy during a meal. There is a bell at the table which we found very useful. Ordered a sushi/sashimi/roll boat and aburi sushi. definitely high quality fish, good portions and a reasonable price. My only complaint is that the service is quite slow. Will definitely be back to try more things on the menu. read more

The server was very knowledgable in introducing all the different chef selection of premium sashimi that came with my omakase. The fish was super fresh and served on a bed of ice to keep cold. The chef knew what he was doing as all the slices of fish were cut to perfection with no ligament or whatever that stuff is that gets stuck in your teeth. The variety of the fish was great, with black Sea bream, red sea bream and two big pieces of the juiciest melt in your mouth toro (blue fin tuna)! Some minor modifications were made for me because of allergies, and to make them gluten-free. The staff was very good, and the food was of a very high quality. If you have any food issues, you need to be very specific as they just opened March 18, 2019 The staff went over and above and the food was very pleasing to look at and the food was over the top. I have been to this location twice now and both times did not disappoint. The most recent time around we got the sushi, sashimi roll set in small. We requested mostly salmon for the sushi and sashimi and it came with 6 pieces of spicy salmon roll and 6 pieces of California Roll. The rolls were great and were packed full of goodness, one of the better rolls we have tried. The sashimi and sushi were fresh and sliced perfectly. For $51 it was enough for 3 people. They provided ample wasabi, soy sauce and ginger for the entire platter. Even though it's a bit of a trek it's well worth it for the quality of fish you get. The only reason I knocked one star off was because I think they could have provided miso soup with the platter, but other than that it was a great dinner! read more

First of all, my partner is Celiac, so finding a sushi place with gluten free sushi and service that actually seems to know what they are talking about is like finding a needle in a haystack. Once we told the server that she had an allergy, he made sure to check with the chef to ensure that her order was gluten free. The service we had was really friendly and accommodating. They had these hand towels that grew with water, which was a fun little show to watch! We requested for gluten free soy sauce and they actually had some, which was awesome. There is a call button as well, so even if you are in a booth, you don't have to worry about getting someone's attention. I received a dinner set of rolls - California, spicy salmon, and shrimp tempura for $20. It was amply filling as the pieces were a good size. The rolls were very flavourful and of high quality. The shrimp tempura was lightly fried and I could really taste the shrimp! The California roll had a generous amount of fish roe in it, which pleasantly surprised me. The spicy salmon was not too mashed up and it was tasty. My partner ordered a salmon avocado roll and an avocado cucumber roll. She enjoyed them a lot! Second time ordering through Uber. For the reviews and price tag was expecting mire. Mi-Ne sushi still tastes better so far. First time I tried hamachi sashimi which was very good but then the torched tuna, rolls and fried oysters were typical and wasn't impressed. Tried their spider and spicy salmon since you can't go wrong with these, was fresh but wasn't impressed with size, taste and value for the price.
