    Spicy pork bento
    Paul T.

Went during lunch. Lots of seating available. Quick and attentive staff. Food came out quick which is nice during a lunch break. Went with the spicy pork bento. Food overall was good and filling, though not my favourite spicy pork. I had some of my wife's sushi which I would opt for next time.

I order the spicy pork soup but just found up to 3 little pieces of pork inside. Maybe the time to close but I walk from Aurora Go Train station to the resturant in ice rain. Just want some good food. So dissapointed.

Tempura is $5 extra on top of lunch order!

This place is such a soothing vibe. The place has dim lighting with a darker furniture. I love the decor. It's also not so loud which is a huge plus so I can work while having lunch. Staff is welcoming and greeted with a smile. Lunch comes with miso soup and salad. You can add tempura with your lunch order for an extra $5. I ordered salmon sushi and spicy salmon maki. Salmon is pretty good! It's not the best I've tasted, next time I'll be getting just rolls and not salmon. Will be going here again regardless!

Came across this amazing little sushi joint while I was in town, and it really did live up to its reviews! I was pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend! Food- came here during lunch hour, they have lunch hour special. Ordered the spicy salmon roll w dynamite, and an additional side of tempura including shrimp, yam and other assorted veggies. I love love loved it all. Service - attentive, quick - with bottom call service. Kind and polite. Ambiance - it wasn't quite busy on a Tuesday lunch hour around 2PM, but unsure how busy it gets at night!

The good: This is a fairly new Korean restaurant that opened up in Aurora, where not many can be found! So it's quite an authentic spot to satisfy your Korean food cravings. They also have a lot of sushi options to choose from. I ordered Korean food (of course!) and got the Gamjatang (Pork bone soup). It was nice that it came with Korean purple rice, each cooked in its own pot, so you can scrape and eat all the rice with the hot water provided. The bad or needs improvement: Food prices are going up but I thought it was a bit pricey for pork bone soup... it was $18. I just remember the good old days when this was the more economical option off the menu. They also gave side dishes but I was sad to see it was in small bite size portions...they were good so I wanted more!

So i was a bit skeptical. But I'm glad I take the risk cuz it was good! And I've tried quite a few sushi takeout during these covid months. We ordered the 42 pcs maki platter. It comes with 6 California, 10 red dragon, 10 caterpillar, 10 dynamite, and 6 spicy salmon. With tax and fees it comes to about $60. (If not doordash maybe closer to $50). The size of the rolls are big and the ingredients are fresh. And I'm so surprised that the rice actually tastes vinegary! This is rare for Maki takeout platter! Tho it is a tad bit too sour, if they can reduce the vinegar by a little it would have been perfect. And their rolls are not drenched with sauce yet each ingredient is so flavorful. I really enjoy the caterpillar roll, it has grilled eel inside it was so good. I think overall it is a very reasonable price and the Maki quality is good. It was also relatively quick so we didn't wait long until the food arrives at our door step.

Firstly, I love the fact they give you a choice to choose between 5 or 9 pieces for their specialty rolls. I'm the kinda gal that loves variety but can't afford the luxury with rolls as they are often times too filling. At sushi blue, I can have my variety of rolls and eat it too! The second thing that differentiated sushi blue from other Japanese restaurants were their prices. I was amazed how much cheaper they were than some of the neighborhood sushi restaurants but let me assure you, the taste was just as good. For example, my black dragon roll would average $17 else where, but it was only $13 here. The texture of the rice can be a bit better but the quality of the ingredients was on par with my other favourite sushi restaurants. We will for sure order from sushi blue again!

Ok listen. I've…read morebeen to many all you can eat sushi. Many. Don't bother with any others in the area except this one. No disrespect intended but this place truly does it right. Ambiance was cute and the tables were a great size to do some damage. Let me explain to you that a smaller all you can eat menu is way smarter as the restaurant can then focus on quality rather than quantity. A lot of other places don't have fresh fish and rice. The other thing I loved as that this place had smaller rolls. I can't stand when there are huge rolls that you can barely fit your mouth around. It's more impressive to pack a lot of flavour in one small bite. I would say focus more on the rolls and nigiri and sashimi rather than the hot appetizers. They were still good but just not as good as the rolls. The chicken karrage could have been a little more crispy. Stand outs include: -Miso soup (it just tasted better than ones I've had and really hit the spot) -All nigiri and the torched sushi -Snow White Roll and the Feza roll -All sashimi -Takoyaki -ALL of the desserts We also split a sake flight which was so good as well. Great service and everything was soo satisfying. Just go and tell your friends. The one bad thing I would say is now I'm craving it again. I wanna go again..and again..and again.

Food was delicious, and service very prompt and friendly. There was only one other customer in there at the time, so not sure what it would be like later in the evening when busy. Overall we were happy with the meal and would certainly eat here again if I the area.
