    Pork soup and rice
    Victor S.

I order the spicy pork soup but just found up to 3 little pieces of pork inside. Maybe the time to close but I walk from Aurora Go Train station to the resturant in ice rain. Just want some good food. So dissapointed.

Tempura is $5 extra on top of lunch order!

This place is such a soothing vibe. The place has dim lighting with a darker furniture. I love the decor. It's also not so loud which is a huge plus so I can work while having lunch. Staff is welcoming and greeted with a smile. Lunch comes with miso soup and salad. You can add tempura with your lunch order for an extra $5. I ordered salmon sushi and spicy salmon maki. Salmon is pretty good! It's not the best I've tasted, next time I'll be getting just rolls and not salmon. Will be going here again regardless!

Came across this amazing little sushi joint while I was in town, and it really did live up to its reviews! I was pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend! Food- came here during lunch hour, they have lunch hour special. Ordered the spicy salmon roll w dynamite, and an additional side of tempura including shrimp, yam and other assorted veggies. I love love loved it all. Service - attentive, quick - with bottom call service. Kind and polite. Ambiance - it wasn't quite busy on a Tuesday lunch hour around 2PM, but unsure how busy it gets at night!

The good: This is a fairly new Korean restaurant that opened up in Aurora, where not many can be found! So it's quite an authentic spot to satisfy your Korean food cravings. They also have a lot of sushi options to choose from. I ordered Korean food (of course!) and got the Gamjatang (Pork bone soup). It was nice that it came with Korean purple rice, each cooked in its own pot, so you can scrape and eat all the rice with the hot water provided. The bad or needs improvement: Food prices are going up but I thought it was a bit pricey for pork bone soup... it was $18. I just remember the good old days when this was the more economical option off the menu. They also gave side dishes but I was sad to see it was in small bite size portions...they were good so I wanted more!

Fantastic! I really love the food here and it's quiet authentic (from my limited knowledge) Everyone is really friendly and the food is just good :)

We got the gamjatang jeongol and it was massive for two people. There were raw pork belly slices on top of the gamjatang so I had to make sure they were fully cooked before consuming. It was hard because there was a lot of soup so it made it extra difficult to push the raw items to the bottom. We ordered less spicy but it was still really spicy! It was flavourful and they gave lots of pork bone. We took the rest home and I had to add water to dilute it lol.

For a group of three, we went with budaejjigae (army stew), which is good for two to four people. The server seemed surprised that we weren't ordering more. If the menu lists that it can feed four people, it seemed like plenty for us, and we aren't big eaters. We received four side dishes -- cucumbers, radishes, nappa cabbage kimchi, and one we weren't familiar with. We asked the server what it was, and he said the name, but we still didn't know what it was. I asked him to repeat it, and he appeared quite annoyed that he had to say it more than once. The army stew wasn't cooking once the server had set it down on the table. It looked like the butane gas canister was empty. We used the call button to call the server back, since he was nowhere to be found. The army stew had luncheon meat, sausage, beans, zucchini, kappa cabbage, tofu, rice cakes, instant ramen, and a slice of American cheese. It was delicious.  Overall, the food is good, but the service is quite lacking. We felt like we were bothering the server by inquiring about the side dish, asking for extra chopsticks, and requiring another gas canister.

I often find Korean food too salty or spicy, but the dishes here were flavorful without being overwhelming. The portions were generous. My pork bone soup was not too spicy, and the pork spine had plenty of meat. The ginseng chicken soup included a whole spring chicken, the shrimp fried rice had lots of shrimp, and the seafood pancake contained more filling than batter. The dining room is spacious and comfortable, and even the washroom was very clean. It is a solid choice in Richmond Hill for a family dinner or a meetup with friends.

I saw this place had good reviews and wanted to try it since we were out this end. We ordered sweet and sour pork, black bean noodles, beef stew and seafood pancake. The staff was quite busy and sometimes hard to get their attention, our waiter was writing our order on napkins. Did they run out of notepads? Our side dishes came with our food and it wasn't too spectacular. The food was good and hot, but I've had better Korean food. Overall, I feel this place is good, but pricer end. Our 4 dishes with 10% cash discount was $85 before tip. Just the japchae alone is $27.99! Anyways, I think I would try other restaurants if I am in this area due to prices and service.

Got galbi, sweet and spicy, onion, and supreme. Supreme was my fav. Rose rice cake was really good and chewy, not too spicy. However I found the chicken to have too much batter. Compared to chicken plus aurora, their chicken is a lot juicer and bigger with less batter and also cheaper so don't think I'll be coming back ..

Their delicious KamJaTang Jeongol, aka Korean Pork Bone Soup, and their BBQ Pork Chops, are perfect for warming you up. As good as it was, it was more than we could finish so they topped up the soup and we took home the leftovers. The pork chops were served on a sizzling platter, nice and hot. It was delicious! We barely managed to finish this one. Both dishes were perfect for the cold weather, and included rice and traditional side dishes - kimchi, bean sprouts, pickled radishes, and pickled cucumbers. We ordered the spicy ricecakes and kimchi pancake as our appetizers, which were delicious! It was my first time trying the kimchi pancake, and it was so crispy and fresh.
