    a bowl of food

Shrimp bibimbap was ok; it was my first time seeing shrimp as an option. Ginseng soup with chicken was pretty good but had little ginseng. One banchan had bean sprouts with added peppers (the usual version omits them). But this actually works (unlike often when peppers get thrown into Asian food). The decor here is very cute.

Spicy Pork bibimbap and bulgogi beef hot plate

Stopped by here because I was craving meat, we got their sizzling hot plate bulgogi beef platter & Spicy Pork Bibimbap. Overall the ambiance and service was spectacular they have cool chairs, beautiful mural wall art, lcd screens and a button to press if you need help. Their side dishes were good but the main dishes were average from what I've previously had. The pork Bibimbap was good I enjoyed the charred hot rice at the bottom and the bibimbap sauce! The bulgogi was a little lacklustre I wish it had more flavour and served on a hot plate it was watery and not sizzling. Maybe I'll be back to actually try their Korean BBQ!

I've been watching this place for quite some time, waiting for it to open and man oh man am I glad I went to try it. Parking - ample. It's in a plaza with the tnt supermarket - you can't miss it! Came on a Saturday for a late lunch around 1:30 - 2:00pm. There wasn't a lot of patrons in the restaurant. We were seated quickly. There's two options of dining - bbq or a la carte. we opted for the a la carte. Banchan was good. Their japchae is nice and flavourful; so is the klmchi. I love the fried potatos in that syrupy sauce they put on it. Beef Bibimbap - SO GOOD! Mix it with the gochuchang sauce and it's amazing. The food was piping hot. It had a lot of good flavour to it. Gamjatang (pork bone soup) - I was very very happy with this soup. The meat were falling off the bone; the soup was piping hot as well; small piece of potato. Yum! Fried chicken - this was ok. We ordered regular fried chicken. Asked for a whole chicken and got wings instead. That's alright. Slightly over salted, but it does come with a sauce on the side you can dip it in. It was crisp and fried very well. But my attention was more focused on the soup and the bibimbap. overall, this is a fantastic place! Service is wonderful and they're very good at making sure your tea cup is full. I'd come again and try the rest of their menu.

Yummy Korean food. Prices were reasonable. Restaurant is very spacious and staff was friendly.

3000 miles Korean BBQ is a newly open Korean restaurant that serves AYCE BBQ and a la cart menu only during lunch hours. We came here for the a la cart lunch menu and I was thoroughly disappointed with my dish. I ordered seafood soon tofu with rice but when the dish came, all I found was fatty pork pieces, one small piece of squid and clam as you can see in my picture. I verify the order with the waitress and she confirmed it's the right order. I don't eat pork and would have never order this dish if there was pork in it however the description only states seafood. After I complained to the waitress, who then had to ask the manager for approval to remake the dish for me. The second version was a lot better without any pork but the seafood was very subpar, tasted like it was from a frozen package. In addition to the subpar quality, our food also took a while to arrive when there's only a total of 4 customers in the restaurant including us. On the positive, our waitress was very nice and the restaurant is very clean and roomy. Being in the neighbourhood, I will give it another chance and come back to try something else.

Quite enjoyed this place. It was nicely renovated and very bright inside. The decor was very modern but at the same time traditional. I went on a day that wasn't busy, so seating was comfortable. Hoenstly, the food isn't different than other Korean bbqs. Has the typical chicken, pork and beef selection. However, you can bulgogi beef/pork and kalbi chicken. Seasoning for the meat was superb and not overbearing. The meats were fresh and very tender. I really enjoyed the beef brisket because of the fatty bits. It's cut like bacon but beef. I think I ordered the brisket the most because of the extra juiciness of the fat. Each bit was rendered fat, juicy and crisp. I was in meat heaven, not going to lie. There was also oyster, but it was one per person. I honestly don't have any complaints for this place. I just thought it was a little overpriced for what you are paying for. It's essentially Korean bbq, so I cannot justify the price. I believe you have a choice to do all you can eat or order seperately. They only had all you can eat, so that's what my wife and I went with.

I was so stoked to see another AYCE KBBQ opening in aurora. The waiting game BEGAN! I was highly anticipated and looking forward to try 3000 miles and ended up being disappointed. For the price I would've expect food quality to be much better.... it's more expensive than Chako yet taste worse AND chakos prices are lower... Servers are super polite and it's very spacious inside. Maybe eventually food quality will get better since they're still a brand new opened business. Unfortunately won't be going back to try it out .. for the price I'm paying id rather just eat a la carte.

Tofu chigae (seafood and pork with silky tofu soup)

Tried this place 3-4 times now. Their soups are tasty and they're a good size, filling with rice. Tried their pork bone soup, their beef soup -Yuk gae jang (my favorite with lots of ingredients and flavor-yam noodles, eggs, onions, bean sprouts, enoki mushroom, green onions, med spicy) and now the beef bento-kalbi was very flavorful and their tofu chigae. Looking fwd to trying their korean fried chicken next although pricier than other korean chicken places, but I'm guessing it should taste good if their other food has been consistently good and I don't know of any other korean fried chicken places by Aurora area.

This place is awesome. We got a family set instead of AYCE and it was absolutely perfect. The cuts were nice, the options good, and the quality was great for the price. We like going off peak hours because we have a toddler.

I visited 3000 Miles Korean BBQ for a dine-in lunch this past Saturday and it was great! I was in the area for an appointment and I was able to get a seating for two without a reservation (this may be more difficult if you are going for dinner). The staff greeted us while wearing masks and gloves, and seated us far from others. We had the choice with KBBQ meal sets or a la carte entrees, and I had to go with the entrees since I've been craving tteokbokki for over 6 months now lol. We had ordered the Tteokbokki, Bulgogi Bibimbap and their half and half wings. It was A LOT for a lunch meal and we ended up taking a majority of the wings home - but it was delicious! The Tteokbokki was the right amount of spice, and despite my nose watering it was just what I had wanted. My spouse thoroughly enjoyed his Bibimbap bowl as well. I would highly recommend dining-in if your ever so lucky, they really put a lot of effort into the decor and aesthetic of this restaurant and it should be enjoyed!

Many all you can eat Korean BBQ in town which are charging cheaper. However, 3000 Miles charges very reasonable cuz they using the higher quality meat directly supplied by Korean wholesale. Smaller portions size allow clients to eat more variety and try all type of meats they provide. Eating all you can eat allows clients to order as much as you like on your favorite food. Love my experience with this place

My visit to Noodle Max would be one of these unexplained phenomenon. I was really hoping to try this hyped up beef noodle place in Richmond Hill, only to have my hope squashed by a long line up at 4:20pm in the afternoon. 4:20!!! WTH!!! On a snowy, slushy late afternoon, I blindly (and slowly) drove my way aimlessly to Aurora. I remember some Asian restaurant getting rave reviews up in Aurora and that being Noodle Max (maybe it wasn't so aimless). If you are someone who believes in destiny, I can tell you destiny will occasionally give you sxxxxy things. Noodle Max would be one of them. Noodle Max's main offerings are Lan Zhou style noodles and was it ever an unauthentic and underwhelming experience. I wouldn't go as far to say the soup was tasteless like water, but it's pretty bland. While the soup for Lan Zhou noodles are not generally crazy strong in flavour, it should still have the taste of spices. The beef slices were also pretty tame in flavour. They were ok. The main plus about their noodle was the portion; quite big. The noodle had better texture than most store bought noodles, but it did not have the proper floury taste and the limited flavours from the soup was not able to hang onto the noodles. Aurora used to be a black hole in terms of dining options, but not anymore. How Noodle Max continued to garner such a high Yelp and Google rating befuddles me.

Then after 15 mins MORE of waiting for whoever in the kitchen to add the rice in to the chicken they gave us our food. My friend, Chris, was in Newmarket for an appointment. He was interested in trying Cynthia's Paradise's AYCE menu. He asked if I'd like to have dinner with him last Wednesday. I said yes. I find that our meal outings lately have been AYCE, stuff-yourself-silly ones. I like that we are both comfortable with each other's food comas! I left work at around 2:30 pm and made a leisurely drive up to Newmarket. 1.5 hours to get here wasn't bad. I eventually drove north along Yonge Street, made a right into the plaza, and parked next to Chris's vehicle. There was plenty of parking, but it did get busy by the time we left at around 7:45 pm. Chris made our reservation for 5 pm. It was perfect, as I tend to have an early dinner after work on Wednesdays. We originally got a booth near the front door. The woman staffer who seated us then said that we had the back booth reserved. We moved ourselves and our water that we got right off the bat to the booth. It was a large booth. It came in handy, as the table was large. We got an iPad with two menus to switch between: - Drinks - Food We got these drinks: - Coke - Diet Coke (me) Drinks are not included in the AYCE price per person. Luckily, there are free refills for pop, which we needed to down all the food that we ordered! I ordered a bunch of items first. The menu is extensive, as there are Thai, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese items. Chris followed suit. We had over thirty items. Oops! Some dishes that you'd think would have sauce, like the yellow curry chicken, didn't have much. It was like there was a drought with all sauces. Sauces with noodles or sauce on top of sushi rolls were perfect. Favourite dishes: - Japchae (tasty with a ton of flavour and stretchy noodles) - Sous vide truffle egg (flavourful with a spice kick that made boring dishes come to life) - Spicy crab meat hand roll (real crab and a generous size) - Crispy soft-shell crab (so crispy and delicious, with real crab) - Crispy banana avocado roll (unique pairing that tasted like a dessert sushi roll and the flavours worked) Dishes that I wouldn't get again: - Anything torched (torching was barely noticeable and the sushi lacked flavour) - Deep-fried cuttlefish balls (a find-the-cuttlefish journey within doughy balls) - Yellow curry chicken (sauce barely coated the chicken and veggies) - Thai spicy fried rice (there was nothing Thai about this dish, as there was no basil or coconut milk, and it was super oily) Food for thought: - I liked the smoked duck options, which was different. The smoked duck tasted like I was having deli meat. If you don't like smoked meat, you may want to steer clear of it. - The wonton soup was the perfect portion with yummy pork wontons. - The dim sum is decent. The soup dumplings could have had more soup in them, but everything was solid. - Get the Korean spicy beef bao wraps with the mango salad. Chris made the suggestion to add the mango to the spicy beef filling. Stellar! - We didn't get soy for our sushi. We ended up using the tempura dipping sauce instead. - This place does noodles well (japchae and udon) - Shrimp dishes tend to contain large shrimp. The downside ordering a bunch of food from the iPad is that it all came to us at once. The cat robot was frequently asking us to pick up the food from it. I wish that the cat robot would face me, but it never did. Because we got all our food at once, we ended up putting everything on our large circular table and taking a photo of everything before we chowed down. This robot sang happy birthday to the booth behind us. It starts in English. It started the Japanese version, but the server stopped it... haha! We came close to finishing everything! I'd return for a food coma again. (258)
