The restaurant is spacious, cozy, high ceilings and tables are far away from each other. I've done korean bbq in the summer, so this time we ordered hot pot on a chilly Friday evening. We got the gamjatang jeongol and it was massive for two people. There were raw pork belly slices on top of the gamjatang so I had to make sure they were fully cooked before consuming. It was hard because there was a lot of soup so it made it extra difficult to push the raw items to the bottom. We ordered less spicy but it was still really spicy! It was flavourful and they gave lots of pork bone. We took the rest home and I had to add water to dilute it lol. read more

2.5 stars This is a good-sized restaurant, and we were surprised to find that there was only one other occupied table during the weekday lunch. For a group of three, we went with budaejjigae (army stew), which is good for two to four people. The server seemed surprised that we weren't ordering more. If the menu lists that it can feed four people, it seemed like plenty for us, and we aren't big eaters. We received four side dishes -- cucumbers, radishes, nappa cabbage kimchi, and one we weren't familiar with. We asked the server what it was, and he said the name, but we still didn't know what it was. I asked him to repeat it, and he appeared quite annoyed that he had to say it more than once. The army stew wasn't cooking once the server had set it down on the table. It looked like the butane gas canister was empty. We used the call button to call the server back, since he was nowhere to be found. The army stew had luncheon meat, sausage, beans, zucchini, kappa cabbage, tofu, rice cakes, instant ramen, and a slice of American cheese. It was delicious.  Overall, the food is good, but the service is quite lacking. We felt like we were bothering the server by inquiring about the side dish, asking for extra chopsticks, and requiring another gas canister. read more

Shrimp bibimbap was ok; it was my first time seeing shrimp as an option. Ginseng soup with chicken was pretty good but had little ginseng. One banchan had bean sprouts with added peppers (the usual version omits them). But this actually works (unlike often when peppers get thrown into Asian food). The decor here is very cute. read more

Stopped by here because I was craving meat, we got their sizzling hot plate bulgogi beef platter & Spicy Pork Bibimbap. Overall the ambiance and service was spectacular they have cool chairs, beautiful mural wall art, lcd screens and a button to press if you need help. Their side dishes were good but the main dishes were average from what I've previously had. The pork Bibimbap was good I enjoyed the charred hot rice at the bottom and the bibimbap sauce! The bulgogi was a little lacklustre I wish it had more flavour and served on a hot plate it was watery and not sizzling. Maybe I'll be back to actually try their Korean BBQ! read more

I've been watching this place for quite some time, waiting for it to open and man oh man am I glad I went to try it. Parking - ample. It's in a plaza with the tnt supermarket - you can't miss it! Came on a Saturday for a late lunch around 1:30 - 2:00pm. There wasn't a lot of patrons in the restaurant. We were seated quickly. There's two options of dining - bbq or a la carte. we opted for the a la carte. Banchan was good. Their japchae is nice and flavourful; so is the klmchi. I love the fried potatos in that syrupy sauce they put on it. Beef Bibimbap - SO GOOD! Mix it with the gochuchang sauce and it's amazing. The food was piping hot. It had a lot of good flavour to it. Gamjatang (pork bone soup) - I was very very happy with this soup. The meat were falling off the bone; the soup was piping hot as well; small piece of potato. Yum! Fried chicken - this was ok. We ordered regular fried chicken. Asked for a whole chicken and got wings instead. That's alright. Slightly over salted, but it does come with a sauce on the side you can dip it in. It was crisp and fried very well. But my attention was more focused on the soup and the bibimbap. overall, this is a fantastic place! 3000 miles Korean BBQ is a newly open Korean restaurant that serves AYCE BBQ and a la cart menu only during lunch hours. We came here for the a la cart lunch menu and I was thoroughly disappointed with my dish. I ordered seafood soon tofu with rice but when the dish came, all I found was fatty pork pieces, one small piece of squid and clam as you can see in my picture. I verify the order with the waitress and she confirmed it's the right order. I don't eat pork and would have never order this dish if there was pork in it however the description only states seafood. After I complained to the waitress, who then had to ask the manager for approval to remake the dish for me. The second version was a lot better without any pork but the seafood was very subpar, tasted like it was from a frozen package. In addition to the subpar quality, our food also took a while to arrive when there's only a total of 4 customers in the restaurant including us. On the positive, our waitress was very nice and the restaurant is very clean and roomy. Being in the neighbourhood, I will give it another chance and come back to try something else. read more

Quite enjoyed this place. It was nicely renovated and very bright inside. The decor was very modern but at the same time traditional. I went on a day that wasn't busy, so seating was comfortable. Hoenstly, the food isn't different than other Korean bbqs. Has the typical chicken, pork and beef selection. However, you can bulgogi beef/pork and kalbi chicken. Seasoning for the meat was superb and not overbearing. The meats were fresh and very tender. I really enjoyed the beef brisket because of the fatty bits. It's cut like bacon but beef. I think I ordered the brisket the most because of the extra juiciness of the fat. Each bit was rendered fat, juicy and crisp. I was in meat heaven, not going to lie. There was also oyster, but it was one per person. I honestly don't have any complaints for this place. I just thought it was a little overpriced for what you are paying for. It's essentially Korean bbq, so I cannot justify the price. I believe you have a choice to do all you can eat or order seperately. FINALLY! A great korean bbq place in AURORA! I enjoyed this place very much. I thought it was more authentic than the other korean bbq places around town. The price for a weekday dinner is $34.99 - I have to say, it is reasonable. SO REASONABLE. The quality and the service is so much better than your typical korean bbq joint. The place is super clean and the quality of the meat is better. When you are ordering the meats, they do advise you how many pieces come on a tray so order accordingly. Some pieces will have two and some will have four. This allows people to try and eat more of a variety. The amount of food selections and the quality of the food makes up for the price. The pork belly is nice and thick. LOVED the kalbi short ribs, a good amount of fat and meat. The shrimp was my favourite - it's a decent size and nicely charred flavour, they were definitely not your average dinky shrimps. I also enjoyed their beef brisket, enoki mushroom, asparagus and all of their banchan. Their cucumber one was DELICIOUS. I wished they had their sticky rice cakes but it was sold out. Their sausage was also really good too. The only thing that I did not enjoy was the miso soup. This place is so good, it will be our korean bbq fave spot now. They have these four seasonings on the table which are absolutely delicious with the cooked meat. Another great thing about this place if people are complaining about the service is that each table has a call button. The place is huge and there are plenty of staff. Our experience was great. I was so stoked to see another AYCE KBBQ opening in aurora. The waiting game BEGAN! I was highly anticipated and looking forward to try 3000 miles and ended up being disappointed. For the price I would've expect food quality to be much better.... it's more expensive than Chako yet taste worse AND chakos prices are lower... Servers are super polite and it's very spacious inside. Maybe eventually food quality will get better since they're still a brand new opened business. Unfortunately won't be going back to try it out .. for the price I'm paying id rather just eat a la carte. read more

Quality korean food up in Aurora! Since the pandemic we have been looking for takeout options that still taste good even after being brought home! I have become a regular here.. ordering the Gamjatang and the Jeyukbokeum. Both are extremely flavourful and large in portion. Packaged well and includes side dishes. My only complaint is that the Jeyukbokeum is a little pricey for a meat dish which doesn't even come with rice! read more

Tried this place 3-4 times now. Their soups are tasty and they're a good size, filling with rice. Tried their pork bone soup, their beef soup -Yuk gae jang (my favorite with lots of ingredients and flavor-yam noodles, eggs, onions, bean sprouts, enoki mushroom, green onions, med spicy) and now the beef bento-kalbi was very flavorful and their tofu chigae. Looking fwd to trying their korean fried chicken next although pricier than other korean chicken places, but I'm guessing it should taste good if their other food has been consistently good and I don't know of any other korean fried chicken places by Aurora area. read more

I usually don't give bad reviews, but I am going to this time because I'm very disappointed in the service here. We came here around 7-7:30pm wanting to grab dinner. We were in a huge rush or anything, but we were hoping to be done in an hour or so. We waited at the front to be seated and was brought to our table shortly. Anyways, we placed our order (for the pork bone soup and sizzling bulgogi plate) and maybe 5 minutes later, our waiter came back saying that the pork bone soup I ordered was actually sold out. Alright, no problem - I ordered the soon tofu instead. So we waited for another 10 minutes, where another waiter came by and told us that the bulgogi was sold out. ... wait what. We waited for 15 minutes already and NOW you tell us that it's not available? Could you not have told us this when we FIRST ordered? All this time we thought the food would be done, when they haven't even started it. Sure... anyways, we changed the order to the seasoned Korean fried chicken. Service was pretty slow in general; we didn't get anything on our table except water while waiting. I saw other tables getting bunchan when they got their water, so I thought they could have at least done that so we could nibble or something while the food was delayed. Nope. I got my soon tofu maybe around 8:20 and we didn't get the chicken until 8:45. Honestly though, over an hour just to order and get food on the table. I have no complaints about the soup - it was fine. Nothing really special. The Korean fried chicken though, that's another story. So the Korean fried chicken DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE advertised. I've been to Korean town in north York and know what seasoned Korean fried chicken is. I don't know what we got but it was seasoned-batter fried chicken. Nothing as what the picture shows. True authentic Korean fried chicken is fried with plain batter and then thrown in a gochujang-based sweet/ spicy sauce. The batter we got was VERY salty and not crispy. I could go on and on about the food and service here, but you get the jist of it. Basically, we ended up leaving the restaurant at 9:10-9:20pm. Almost 2 hours to get 2 mediocre dishes. I visited 3000 Miles Korean BBQ for a dine-in lunch this past Saturday and it was great! I was in the area for an appointment and I was able to get a seating for two without a reservation (this may be more difficult if you are going for dinner). The staff greeted us while wearing masks and gloves, and seated us far from others. We had the choice with KBBQ meal sets or a la carte entrees, and I had to go with the entrees since I've been craving tteokbokki for over 6 months now lol. We had ordered the Tteokbokki, Bulgogi Bibimbap and their half and half wings. It was A LOT for a lunch meal and we ended up taking a majority of the wings home - but it was delicious! The Tteokbokki was the right amount of spice, and despite my nose watering it was just what I had wanted. My spouse thoroughly enjoyed his Bibimbap bowl as well. I would highly recommend dining-in if your ever so lucky, they really put a lot of effort into the decor and aesthetic of this restaurant and it should be enjoyed! read more

First Impressions ============= Nice decor, friendly greeting staff! This is going to be long because I really like this place, but there are a few things that I hope will change to make it better! Tips: ===== 1. Check and ask about the All you can eat menu RULES. There's a list of rules but my understanding is that they may be out of date and some do not apply. You'll know what I mean when you get the menu. 2. The staff are really nice, but there are some basic hospitality & cleanliness issues that I think everyone would benefit if there was more / better training. - When being served the raw food and cooked food, it would be nice for the wait staff to unstack the food trays in a way that makes sense. Place the cooked and raw away from each other so there's less cross contamination risk. Unstacking & arranging the food would have been nice, but unfortunately it's kind of just drop-shipped onto your table and you have to figure it out. - Our orders were usually served as (1) stack of 7 or 8 trays. The stack would just be left there, and although it's not a big deal to unstack it--it's not a great dining experience if I have to un-pack each order, arrange it and then go wash my hands to prevent cross contamination. - Later in the night we ordered a small order of meat and lettuce. It was set on our table, with some of the lettuce touching the raw meat and other leafs of lettuce touching the table & other trays next to it. We cooked the lettuce and ate it. - I ordered a refill of Coke and the wait staff took my cup and straw, went to the soda machine and refilled right into my old cup. Maybe it's just me but that seems very unhygienic. It was only that time though, my wife was given new cups everything she asked for a refill. - Later in the night my straw fell out of the glass, and I asked for a new one. The wait staff went to the counter with gloves on (I think they wear gloves to clean tables and use bare hands when bussing or taking orders), took a straw, then got side tracked by the kitchen, shouted something to the kitchen gesturing with my straw. At one point he shouted to the kitchen with my straw in front of his face and then strolled back to me and gave me my straw. I did not use said straw and decided to share a drink with my wife after that. - We ordered the oysters and the waitress that delivered it said "it's already cooked, so you can eat it." I picked mine up and it was stone cold. Poked it with the raw meat clamp and found that it was definitely not cooked. MAYBE both my wife and myself heard wrong, but we both thought the lady said it was already cooked... We cooked and ate it but a close call.... TO REITERATE: Super friendly staff, Great quality food, Can work on some better Hospitality training. Food ==== Good quality meats & ingredients. We were really happy with the quality. Good utensils, and very nice grill to cook on. A little pricey for the stuff you get. Would we come back? ================= Probably not for a while. Cleanliness, hygiene and professional hospitality skills are probably more important than ever with the Coronavirus making its' rounds in the world nowadays. There are only 2 thin slices of beef in each container which worsen the whole eating and ordering experience. It generates a lot more jobs for the servers and extra work for the customers as well. We ordered at least 5 times during the whole meal and once it took quite a while to get our order. $27.99 per person during weekend lunch. Not worth the money as there's not much selections for lunch. $11.99 for a 3 year old kid is also not very reasonable for me. Most of the All you can eat places only charge $2 or $3 for kids under 4. My husband and I tried when it first opened up. It suppose to have wide selection of cuts of meat and cooked Korean food. I would say it's pretty disappointing. Service was extremely slow. Every time u ask for more meat. Each plate only has 2 slice of thin meat. Cooked food are not that great, they ran out of the soup I wanted to get. Price point is pretty high for what u get. While the service was extremely friendly and courteous, the actual eating experience was poor. The bbq surface clings to most foods and since it is dome-shaped, making it impossible to properly cook some of the thinly cut dishes despite having some fat to melt into the surface. Also, since the cast iron grill is some shaped, it doesn't maintain a uniform cooking temperature and the shape made it impossible to properly cook things like calamari, which just curled up and rolled onto the edge. Many other Korean BBQ places have an actual grill that allows for thicker cuts and even cooking. Service was friendly but slow. Servers were not knowledgeable about what meats where what. We had a variety of meats delivered to our table; so we liked and others not. We had a lot of difficulty trying to re-order the ones we liked because the servers didn't know which ones were which. Overall for the price this place really isn't worth it. You have to sit there forever to cook enough food to feed the table since the portions were so small. Would recommend changing the grill type to allow for better cooking and more efficient service. read more

This place has good quality meat and great selection of side dishes like pork bone soup, etc. Great customer service as well. They weren't busy so the waitresses cooked for us. Really clean place and they have amazing ventilation so your clothes don't smell like bbq after. I rarely leave positive reviews but I definitely recommend this spot. read more
