Didn't really know what to expect but the person in charge, Wayne, was amazing. The place didn't have a dine in or patio ( maybe because of Covid and all) but he was nice enough to make us fresh coffee to try. He happened to be roasting some beans and invited us to watch. What a treat!!!! It's amazing to find gems like this in the area. I usually drink medium roast but he made me try the dark roast and I ended up buying a bag of that too. I would definitely come back and recommend this place 100%.

By luck, I caught a coffee tasting when I dropped by while I was in the area. What you'll find here: front of shop that displays bags of fresh coffee beans that are roasted in small batches, aeropress, pour over, and other coffee accoutrement, plus the larger "warehouse" area where beans are being roasted/packaged. Perhaps Wayne will make you a coffee/espresso-based drink so you can sample their beans! What you won't find here: baked goods, muzak, laptops, stale beans, or dairy alternatives. Again, it's a coffee roastery that also preps bags for e-commerce. It's not a café. 250g bags are around $9, a bit more expensive for their Microlots - if&when they're available! This is loads cheaper than many other roasteries that I've been to where you're paying ~$20 for a bag and don't necessarily end up liking it. Recommended stop for any coffee lover if you're near the Bronte GO Station!

He welcomed us with a warm greetings and had us sample some chocolates. We told him that we use to live in the neighborhood before his shop opened up which led to him telling us about his humble beginnings and how Crepepresso came to be. We ordered the signature crepe, the Crepepresso...this creation was exquisite. The eshta (creme) and pistachio ice cream that filled the crepe was so balanced in terms of taste and consistency (not too sweet and perfectly whipped). The pistachio mix and White Belgian chocolate that adorned the dish was aesthetically pleasing and just as delicious. We shared this delectable treat and paired it with espressos. The experience was amazing, but we do have two regrets. We had lunch prior to stopping by this shop and really wanted to try some of the savory lunch offerings; so we will have to pin that idea for our next visit. The other issue I have is this place has now ruined the thought of us having crepes anywhere else because our standard has been lifted to unreasonable heights.

Matari is definitely my new favourite coffee break. This spot has some unique drinks on the menu and a great selection of desserts/treats to have with your cup of tea/coffee. I love that they're able to modify your drinks based on your preferences. There's quite a lot of options to choose from as well. I really enjoyed the honeycomb and the portion was good to share. It wasn't too sweet but the honey on top was the perfect addition. The drink is served in a beautiful cup and was delicious + worth the wait. Our order was a bit of a long wait despite it not being busy, but it was 100% worth it. Looking forward to coming back! One of my favourite coffee shops in the GTA that I keep going back to over and over again. I especially love their adeni and their croissants. However, I find that everything I've tried on the menu has always been sooo good. It's a little on the pricier side but the atmosphere/ambiance of the place and quality/taste of the products make up for it. They also recently introduced a loyalty program where you can collect points with every purchase. Tried their pistachio cake and loved every bite!

We arrived around 11am on a long weekend and they had plenty of tables available, but by the time we were leaving, all the tables were full. You need to order your food first and get seated after. They bring your order to you, but if you need a coffee refill, or milk and cream, you need to pick them up yourself at the station. Coffee refill was a challenge for us, since we had to go through all other tables and wait for the staff to refill our coffee, and even there were times they were out of milk and had to drink our coffee black. We ordered "Key West Eggs", "Crepe au Fraises", "Slow Roasted Lamb" and "Canadian Peameal Back Bacon". Our food was delicious and we would love to go back and try more of their menu items. Just expecting delays for our coffee this time. Lol

The Balsamic Chicken (with bacon, goat cheese, roasted red peppers, spinach and pesto aioli) was fantastic, and had excellent flavours. The side dipping sauce was delicious. The Florence St. Sandwich (with tomatoes, artichokes, Asiago and sun dried tomato pesto) was good, but I didn't enjoy the flavours as much so would probably try something different the next time. I would have preferred to select my own bread since the ciabatta and panini was hard to cut through with a knife - it got messy. It would have been better if it was cut in half before being served to the customer to make it easier to eat. After ordering from the counter, there was sign to wait to be seated. Service just to get seated was extremely slow. In the end, we asked someone if we could seat ourselves, which we did. The food was then brought to the table, but it was confusing since we had to get up again to go to a different counter to put cream and sugar in our coffee. Although the portion size of the chicken and ingredients were good, the sandwiches were pricey considering there was no table service, and seating was disorganized. It would be difficult to host large groups or families here. It would have been ok to reduce the amount of chicken to cut costs and price since there were two thick layers of meat. Ambiance was good.
