I love this place because I can get sweet, creamy and cold all at the same time! I'm lactose intolerant as well, and they use dairy free everything which is great! I always get the Taro Boba slush with no toppings. I also ask for half the sugar which is great! I went here last night and they ran out of boba AGAIN! This isn't the first time this location ran out of boba! This is just poor management and training! If you know you and see that you are low on boba, then obviously you need to make more before it runs out! How hard is that to do?! There staffs very unprofessional. They have like 6,7 workers and only 2 people working. The rest just hang out around and talking. The drink doesnt taste like it support to be. It tasted way bitter. I live in Wylie and there's not a ton of options for good bubble tea out here, so I usually go to Kung Fu Tea for my boba fix. I came a couple weeks ago and they said they ran out of boba. This is one of my favorite boba tea shop in Dallas area. Not only having good tea with Kung Fu brand but also they have special HK egg waffle and wings that made my drink become more enjoyable. My husband ordered the matcha milk tea while i ordered the wintermelon milk tea. We did less sweet (70%) on both drinks with boba. They ran out of regular boba so we got the baby boba. Boba tea is always my drink and dessert of choice. I drink about 3-4 cups on average a week. Just like how coffee is a must have for avid coffee drinkers, boba tea is my go to drink. I was ecstatic to have a boba joint open so close to my house so I didn't have to make a 45-60 minutes commute to get my boba fix. But KF never fails to disappoint. This is the THIRD time in 2 weeks that they ran out of boba 2 hours prior to closing time. I understand if you run out of boba immediately prior to closing...but how do you run out 2 hours before?!? And then turn around to tell the customer that if they want boba, they would have to wait at least another 1 to 1.5 hours? Really??? This is a place of business and your business is to sell boba...shouldn't you make better judgment calls and make sufficient amount daily? This is not the first time and I'm guessing it won't be the last time that you run out, since I've already personally experienced this three times in a short time span! read more

Every time I come here I get disappointed all over again. I love other locations, however this one is poorly managed. It never fails I can't leave this place without waiting 20 minutes for my drink to be made. When I got here this afternoon there was another party waiting for their drinks. After I ordered, two other parties ordered after me. Both these parties ended up getting their drinks before me and it's just frustrating that it happens all the time. As a huge boba lover my self I just see KFT continue to go downhill. I had use to really like it I would always get the Taro slush but then they changed the formula so I stopped going. Well with this new location opening I figured I'd give it a try again. This time I got the Taro green milk tea less sweet with tapioca. I was not impressed at all. The only thing set about my drink was the boba. I asked for less sweetness not no sweetness this drink was more bland then skim milk. The shop itself is a nice place to hang out with friends and the menu definitely has changed since I last tried it. The place was clean and workers were decent. Super disappointed. This is by far the worst KF location I've ever been to. Mind you, I get my boba fixes quite often, 2-3times/week, if not more. I usually go to the Richardson location. Since this location is a lot closer for me, I decided to give it a try. The location is good, store is roomy with nice decor and good lightning. However, the wait is long and the boba does not hold up to KF standard. It's very bland and hard. It's almost like they just boiled it and don't bother to soak the boba in honey or sugar. I came in on a Saturday night with 1 family in front of us - they have about 3 simple drinks ( flavored teas ). And our 2 drinks - simple, off the menu items, took about 15-20 mins to come out. I would definitely not coming back even though it's on down the street from me. :( read more

I've been coming here for a while but I will probably stop after today. The guy who worked there couldn't get the credit card machine to work at first and he seemed rude about it too. His attitude was terrible and he asked out loud " do u want boba?" Well since I was standing in front of the line and I said yes. But then he snapped and said "I'm talking to my friend over here" referring to someone else. How rude and disrespectful. Maybe it wasn't me but to scream like that to a customer isn't how to treat them. He finally got the machine to work and charged me after he made my drink. Yummy....yet a bit overpriced for a drink. My favorite is the Pina Colada slush. Staff seems snobby every time I've been in. This location is new so I'm trying to give them some time to work out the kinks but today they ran out of milk. I'm not a business owner but when half your menu consists of milk drinks, shouldn't that be fully stocked? It's about 3PM on a Friday so thank goodness it's not insanely crowded yet. They don't have stamp cards and promote using LevelUp yet the workers aren't trained on using it. The line tends to move slower at this location than the Richardson one. I'm trying to make this location work but I'm starting to wonder if the drive to a different location is worth it for better service? I'll update if/when this improves.
