This Mochinut is super cute inside. There are self-serve kiosks to order from. I personally thought my drink was too sweet. I'm usually good with 100% sweetness level at most other boba shops, but I would have ordered 50% here in hindsight. The drink was really pretty. The tapioca was okay, but slightly over cooked, leading to a mushy texture. I also ordered a Korean corn dog. It was super delicious. The size, quality of meat and cheese, was great. Little confused, went to "Mochinut" expecting a classic MOCHINUT. walked and immediately could tell something was off. the menu was different than every Mochinut I had ever been to. got a corn dog and milk tea. ended up with milk in a cup from "trendy tea house" and no flavor, mushy boba. and the hot cheeto kdog was sweet? the cheese tasted like frosting and the hot cheeto was soggy. i've had kdog and boba from MOCHINUT before, but this was nothing like it. it feels like "Trendy Teahouse" just put a mochinut label on their store. very deceitful and was very sad because i was really excited for yummy mochinut and the cute glasses they give you. read more

Super cute place, I love the decor and their to go cups are cute. I got a Vietnamese coffee with egg foam and it was delicious. The corn dogs were yummy, the potato one tastes fresher and was crispier, but they were both good. I got a cookies and cream mochi donut, which was enjoyable, simple flavors but soft, and hit the spot. My wife was less of a fan, commenting on she felt like the stickiness of the donut itself and its sauce. My wife got a matcha with ube foam and I am so sorry to say but it was truly terrible. The whole drink was grainy, both the ube foam and the matcha. The ube foam had clumps in it. It was truly unappetizing and the matcha flavor itself was weak too. I offered to take it back for my lady but she said no, we would go home and add some more matcha to it. It didn't help at all and the more I drank it the worse and the weirder that it tasted. It was minty in a bad way, and the more i drank it the it started to taste like NyQuil or something. Not sure if there's a new owner, but I stopped by yesterday and ordered 3 mochi donuts, 2 churros, and 1 milk chocolate. After waiting about 5 minutes, the young cashier informed us they had run out of the flavors we ordered and that it would take 15 minutes to make more. I told her that was okay, but honestly--shouldn't the kiosk indicate when an item is sold out so customers aren't paying for something that's unavailable? The 15-minute wait turned into 35, and when we finally got our mochi donuts, the cashier said they didn't have the milk chocolate at all. She offered us one of the flavors on display, but there were only 3 left--none of which we wanted. I asked if we had to choose from the display or if she could make another churro one, and she said we had to take what was available. After I pointed out that she had already made two churros, I asked why she couldn't just make one more. She finally agreed. The shop itself seemed poorly managed. I am so happy they opened a mochinut near me. This location is much bigger and cuter than the location in Allen. The texture of the donuts were on point and each flavor we tried was really good. I also ordered a boba drink which was also good, but I would say the donuts are what sold me! The store set up is very open and cute - the seating style is family style so you can hangout and play games. I was out running errands and craving donuts. Saw Mochinut from the parking lot of FedEx store and headed over. It was quiet inside the store but a staff member quickly popped out to greet me. I inquired about the mochi donuts as the pastry display was empty except for a tray of Churro Mochinuts. He said that he was currently frying up the Mochinuts in the back. I thanked him for his time and said I would try back another day. He offered me a Churro Mochinut for the road and told me what hours he is frying and fully stocked for my return. I wanted to say that this is the BEST mochi donut (Mochinut) I have ever had! And let me tell you, I have had a lot! These have a super light and fluffy interior with that wonderful bouncy chew that is crave worthy. Not even a hit of grease. The churro topping was light and with a hint of cinnamon but did not distract from the mochi donut itself. It was a flavor enhancement to the mochi donut. The Churro Mochinut is a must have addition to your box! The inside of shop is adorable and has a huge floral wall for social media. And the staff member I encountered was very sociable and kind. I love this place so much! I don't come often, but I decided to come in today because I was craving something refreshing. I walked in not knowing what to order, so I asked an employee named Rashidah what she'd recommend, and she gave the best recommendation ever! I'm pretty sure it was called a Mango Tea Refresher with boba. It was absolutely amazing, and the wait time was not long at all! Customer service was elite, and the atmosphere was amazing as well. The inside of this store is absolutely beautiful, and you can tell the workers have such an amazing personality. This spot is adorable! They had a self-order kiosk where I got a mango cream cheese tea with mango crystal boba, strawberry bingsu, and an Oreo donut. The boba was fantastic, with the perfect texture! I also enjoyed the bingsu; it was a good portion size. It's a little pricey - 3 mochinuts (Korean style donuts) for $10. Obviously not the same price point as your typical donut shop However!! The atmosphere is obviously meant to be an Instagram dream for the teens and 20-somethings that love to do that kind of stuff. It has photo ops galore! They had about a dozen flavor options for mochinuts out and I think they rotate flavors. We had chocolate, raspberry, and mango and brought leftovers home. They're sweet without being overtly sweet, and the texture kind of reminds me of a non-greasy funnel cake. Crunchy on the outside but not super dense. We really enjoyed it. My daughter also got a strawberry yogurt shake, and they had samples of their oolong and jasmine iced tea which was FANTASTIC. They also have games to play like uno and jenga - we played a few rounds and it was so fun! They also serve a ton of different Korean style hot dogs and cheese sticks. They looked fun and I'd definitely come back to try. I have two young girls so I think this summer we will have to come back for a fun mid-day mommy daughter date! Also I love the entire strip center - Korean bbq and another dessert place just opened up. First visit. I brought my granddaughter to try it out. I had the watermelon tea that has Jasmine tea in it and I added strawberry popping boba. The first sips I took were intense and it's from the Jasmine tea. I was not use to the flavor of Jasmine tea and I didn't know that was an ingredient in this particular tea, but some sugar was added to it to add a bit of sweetness and I did like it better. If you are use to the strength of Jasmine, you should be fine. My granddaughter had the strawberry yogurt with strawberry popping boba. I tried a sip of hers and it's real good. She liked it. I love the cute cups the drinks come in! I took ours home to wash and keep. We tried the red velvet mochi donut. That was delicious. If you only want a single mochi donut, you have to purchase a drink (as a combo). I also wanted to try the Korean hot dog here. I've tried them at another place. I ordered the original half & half. I waited almost an hour for three drinks. The first one took 20+ minutes, and when we finally got them, they were honestly gross. Mine tasted like warm, thick milk with heavy cream--nothing cold or refreshing. The "brown sugar boba" was white, mushy, and falling apart, with weird bits floating in the drink. The lady at the counter was rude, and the corn dogs were just as bad. The stick wasn't even centered, the cheese smelled like dishwasher, and the chocolate Mochinut didn't taste like real chocolate. Mochinut is here! Went to their grand opening yesterday and I am so glad we have more Asian food and drink options in the Murphy/Wylie area! I'm very familiar with Mochinut as I've been to their many other locations but this Murphy location has added their own unique twist. Not only do you get your delicious fill of mochi donuts... they also have a wide selections of drinks and some interesting desserts. My usual go to is the original (glazed) mochi donut but sadly they did not have any yesterday. The good thing is Mochinut is always rotating flavors so I'll be back to check for it. They just opened so they are still working out the kinks and dealing with large crowds so they are getting out orders as quickly as they can so be patient with them -- it's worth the wait! I love their coconut coffee. I haven't had coconut coffee since my trip to SoCal so this really hit the spot. The coffee is strong so definitely mix it THOROUGHLY with the bottom coconut layer! Coconut and coffee is just *chef's kiss* -- the best combination! I love the Vietnamese influence on this location's menu. Mochinut has delicious mochi donuts and apparently from reviews delicious boba teas-unfortunately, I haven't had the teas yet. Luckily, I have had the donuts. They're always fresh and good. I like the passion fruit, matcha green tea, and chocolate. Last month I had the strawberry funnel cake-yummy to my tummy. These donuts are very good and better than other mochi donut places. They're always offering unique flavors and now that I have my aunt addicted to them-we will be back. The decor is cute and I love the experience of sitting down to enjoy a delicious mochnut. Service and availability of items really seem to be dropping in the past month or so. Started off great but the last few times we've come they do not have items in stock. They've been out of bed and chicken samosas as well as popular flavors of shave ice and different flavors of hotdogs. Really a shame as there is allot of potential here. read more

There were 5 people working and I think it's weird that not at least one of them was attending to the floor. Also, I saw a girl sitting down behind the counter, eat not one, not two, but three corn dogs. I'm sure this can give you an idea of the work ethic here and their lack of urgency.
