First time trying Feng Cha since they opened up this location in Murphy. The interior was super cute and there were many board game options to play if you are coming with a friend. I'm not the biggest fan of boba tea so I got the Mango Fantasy and it was alright, but I think with some modifications it could be better. Next time I would get it extra sweet and if possible light on the coconut cream because I wasn't the biggest fan of it. It's my once a month treat and usually get a new flavor I need to try plus my go-to. Lemon Black tea with aloe Vera topping is my most favorite but this time I wanted to try their Au Lait series. I didn't know what to expect but really liked the mango Au Lait. They used real mango fruit so it didn't taste like fake mango flavor which I hate. This will be my go-to while mango is in season. This location is very vibrant located in a newish corner along FM544 and Murphy Rd. The service was fast and efficient. I'm always lucky to walk in when it's not busy which is a plus so I have time looking at the menu. Feng Cha has probably got to be one of my favorite boba shops. Their drinks are made exactly to taste - you can choose your level of ice and sweetness - and their drinks don't taste like powder. I was so excited to find out that there's a new feng cha right outside my house. It's a snug location at the corner of the new plaza. I really wanted to try the mango fantasy so I came here after a session of pickleball. They have some self service kiosks available to look through their drinks and order from. I got the mango fantasy, I've been wanting to try it for awhile since I've been on a mango craze lately. I was really happy to try it only to find that my drink was soooo soo bitter. Almost undrinkable. I later found out that the bitterness came from the grapefruit, because after I drank all of it the bitterness was gone. The mango smoothie itself was not that good. Of all Feng Cha locations in the metroplex this is probably the worst one in terms of quality. For some reason everytime we order a simple milk tea, the staff just doesn't know what they are doing. We keep giving the place a chance but no more. Each time, they just don't give enough ice despite selecting regular or even extra, the drink is overly sweet despite selecting a lower level...the drinks just taste like warm sugar. This is in response to the manager. 50 cent was charged on March 23rd 2023. My husband even tipped the staff but because of the extra charge, he didn't come back. Sad because we spent $77 between February and March 2023 on 5 different visits. Always consistently yummy and fast. My go to boba around Wylie/murphy area. So glad we have a boba shop close by now.

Stopped by after work on a Sunday and it was quite empty. The service was quick and everything inside looked clean and well managed. I got the Earl Grey pure tea with matcha milk foam and it was really good. I'm glad they opened down here because we definitely needed more bubble tea shops down here. For the prices of the drinks, the cup holder should be pretty good and/or the lids should be one of those sealed lids. I came for milk tea when they was soft opening, they messed up my drink. I order milk tea but they give me fusion tea, when I told them they took my drink inside and added milk to it and it's tasted like sugar drink, nothing like milk tea. I thought maybe they was busy because of soft opening so I came to try again today, ordered mango fantasy.and it's super bitter. The cashier girl was very NICE though, she was sorry tried to talk to manager to see if they can remake a drink for me but unfortunately the manager told her no so I left. My husband was upset he took my drink came to talk to manager. They should have handle customer service better, if the mango drink have citric and the citric in the drink gives bitter taste they should have let customer know before taking order, we come here for sweet drink and I order mango drink not citric!!!, not BITTER drink. The manager face looks nothing friendly at all since I walked in to tell them about the drink. She was with the face like I came to crush her bussiness. I was very nice and patiently talked to cashier, manager never talked to me but she gave me a look like ... so I left not even bother to order another drink. My least favorite Feng cha location. I love Feng cha and have been going to several different locations over the past two years and this is the first one that never makes my drink the correct way. My favorite drinks are the crème brûlée and dirty boba milk teas and every time I've ordered them here they've been disappointing. Most feng cha's do really good but every time I come in, there's new staff who don't know what they're doing. Last visit the employee that was supposed to be taking orders was chatting with another customer for (not kidding) 20 minutes. With nobody else in the store, took 25 minutes to get our boba after ordering. Would recommend going to other boba places around like boba lush for better boba and service. read more
