I'm a fan of Kung Fu Tea, I've been to a number of their locations throughout America. This one had the highest potential, but unfortunately majorly dropped the ball. They've got a PlayStation and Switch some board games and a fun challenge on the wall that allows you to try and stop the clock at 10 seconds to get a free drink. Super cool. But the place was filthy. And not organized well so it looked uninviting from a feng shui perspective. The girl managing the shop was kind and quick but I asked for light ice and got a single ice cube. It was a bit too light. Im leaving a bit of a harsh review because it has potential to be one of the coolest KFTs I've ever been to. If they can make some changes I'd love to give them 5 read more

Loved the interior design and trendy seating area. The place smelled great, even the bathroom. There is small area in the back with some games, would be great to see more game options tho. I got the milk tea with Oreo and boba, i would have preferred a caffeinated drink but I was interested in trying something different, I love Oreos with milk anyways! It was interesting, I probably wouldn't get it again. My husband got green milk tea which tasted like lavender. I think better business would be to add espresso/coffee items to the menu, I feel like business would do so much better. I for one would come here way more often as well as figuring out how to drop the $7 minm card charge since not many people carry cash around these days. Every time I've gone, it's been terrible. The boba is either under cooked or over cooked. The picture below is of the boba under cooked and 3/4 of the boba in my drink was like that, making it inedible. I tried it again recently, I ordered 2 drinks with Green Tea. Waited 20 minutes for my drinks, but the 3 order numbers after me were called and I still didn't get mine. Finally, one of the customers after me asked if I was going to get my order soon since I had ordered before them and the girl working said she didn't know. I came up to her and asked where my drinks were. She comes back to tell me they ran out of Green Tea and just looks at me... she didn't apologize and wasn't planning on letting me know they ran out of tea, but just let me wait there for my drinks that were never going to come. I ordered 1 hour and 15 mins before closing time too so running out of every type of tea except oolong is a little ridiculous. At least inform people before letting them order. Service at this location is definitely their biggest problem. Sometimes I've walked in with absolutely nobody at the register and having to wait long times for drinks to actually come out. The drinks itself can be good but I've had problems multiple times with consistency. On occasion I try my friend's drink and then decide to order it myself and get something that tastes completely different. They do accommodate and remake drinks if needed. There isn't too much space compared to some other boba shops but it's never too busy so there are always empty corners and plenty of games provided making the shop a solid study/chill spot. read more

This KFT is much better than the one in Richardson. I usually get their oolong or winter melon milk tea. My bf loves their mango snow drink, even though it's part artificially flavored. I love their cute and relaxing decor (ikea stuff). It's perfect for studying and taking pictures. The workers pretty much knows my bf since he goes there more than I do. He prefers fat straws and Murphy's KFT. The only thing I didn't like was that you had to order at least $7 worth to pay with cards. read more

I ordered a wintermelon milk green tea 70% and came out just the way I like it as usual. The ambience and atmosphere feels more lively compared to before. Decorations are probably the best in the Murphy area and great for taking pictures! Sometimes, they run out of boba, but I don't blame them because they are always busy with customers. They finally added dessert and food to their menu. In my opinion, it's more affordable compared to typical foods at boba shops. I definitely recommend getting the original hong kong waffle or pandan, as well as their chicken wings! read more

So glad they opened up a location close to me!! KFT is my all-time favorite boba place in Dallas and I prefer the drinks here over Share Tea or Gong Cha. This place is honestly the nicest looking one I've seen compared to the other locations in DFW. It's a clean and trendy interior with plenty of seating. Plus the light fixtures and little decorations are so cute! Definitely a nice place to chill with your friends or family. Service is here is great! Really friendly kids working at the front and making the drinks. A tad slow at taking orders but obviously they're new so not a big deal. We came here on grand opening day and our drinks came out surprisingly quick. The place was poppin' so I expected it to take a while but we were out in no time. Also, the cashier overheard my mom telling me in Vietnamese to ask them a question, but they politely replied back to my mom in Vietnamese, which I really appreciated. My go-to drink is the oolong milk tea with pudding. It's delicious and I usually get it once a week (fyi, it's on the sweet side but that's how I like it). I've been a big fan of KFT since the first location opened in Carrollton, so I know exactly how it should taste, and this place didn't disappoint at all! Same taste and consistency, which is a huge relief! I don't have to drive far for it anymore, but I may end up getting it more than once a week now... I was skeptical about going to this location just because it's new and the one in Richardson is always random with how their drinks are made (some days are good but some days are super watered down), but when I came on the first day of their soft opening, my drink was on point! I usually get the almond milk tea with boba, and it was super refreshing. I've been told by the Richardson location that I couldn't make the almond milk tea extra sweet, so I just deal with the blandness (even though it's $5.14 for basically a cup of water with minimal flavor), but this location made my drink just the way I love it: sweet! So glad I don't have to take the tollway just for Kung Fu anymore!! Also, there's a cherry blossom tree decal on the wall which adds a nice touch when taking a picture for the grams! read more

Placed a mobile order. When I arrived, despite paying, they claimed it never went through because they were out of that item. Tried ordering Taro - out of it. Tried ordering a Milk Cap - out of it. They also asked if I knew what is in a milk cap so they could attempt to make it. Unfortunately no (as I've never worked there). Eventually I was able to order something they actually had but then the boba had pits. I've never been one to waste boba but they were so hard I had to spit them out. Thankfully I just got a refund.
