My spouse got the leige waffles and very much enjoyed it. The service was friendly and helpful as well as pretty quick. I was happy to see that since they were a little busy. The vibe is really calm and could be a great place to sit and work or just sit and have a nice conversation with friends. In my quest to check out new coffee shops, I thought I'd pop by and check out Armor Coffee. I liked it, although it doesn't look or feel like a coffee shop - it really is more like a fast-casual full service restaurant. You order at the front counter - there was a very long line during my visit. I think things were held up by the fact that there was a paper menu, and also a digital display board menu (sight lines were poor though) and the menus didn't match! Employees didn't seem sure which menu was "accurate" which slowed down ordering for everyone. Once I'd ordered and selected a table, service was great. They bring your order to the table with the matching number. Bathrooms were clean. They had a separate room for groups to meet. Overall, it's a cool space. Again, it didn't feel like a coffee shop. If you're just popping in for a cup of coffee, it'll probably feel like "too much" but if you want a full breakfast experience, it's perfect. read more

Armor is a cute coffee shop that gives Summer moon vibes. This was my first visit. The service was friendly and helpful and the facilities/restrooms were clean, but the coffee was just oookay. I fully admit that it might be because I chose the wrong option from the menu. I ordered the cookie butter with coconut milk, not something I'd usually get. Again, it was FINE but not my favorite. The roast was flavorful and not burnt like other franchises (cough*starbucks*cough) and it wasn't overly sweet (I ordered 3/4 pump) , but it just didn't have any distinct flavor that made me go "yum!" My daughter ordered a White Sands because they told her it was cake-flavored. She said it was good, but no cake vibes were detected. She also ordered a breakfast sandwich which was filling and hot/fresh, but pretty basic. Would I visit again when I'm in Wylie? Yes! Love to see more local coffee shops pop up in the Wylie (bordering Murphy) area. I stopped by here as I was getting my car fixed. The inside is really gorgeous, clean, and modern. The staff were very friendly. There is a lot of space for working, studying, or chatting with friends and family. The bathrooms were clean as well! I enjoyed my hot latte; the coffee flavor was great and the ratio of milk was spot on. I also ordered a breakfast burrito, which was good. It wasn't the best burrito I've ever had in my life, but it did its job. the price was pretty reasonable for a coffee shop. Overall, I'd definitely come here again if I'm ever in the area. read more

We are frequent fliers at the Armor Coffee in Allen so when we heard a new on had opened in Wylie, we wanted to check it out. First, this location is much bigger inside and has a lot more to offer (food and pastry). The kids and I came on a Friday afternoon for an after-school treat and to play games. We easily found an open table big enough for all four of us (not likely at the Allen location). Next we perused the pastries and coffees. The kids were stoked there multiple options for cake pops and settled on the fall chocolate cake pop, a kids chocolate milk with whipped cream and their signature chocolate chunk cookie. I enjoyed my cold brew with almond milk. We hung around for over an hour playing Apples to Apples and enjoying our treats. The ambiance was casual and quiet. One or two people worked on computers and others came and went. We will definitely be back! read more

Today's visit is a great example--I went through the drive-thru and realized I'd ordered the wrong drink. When I asked if it could be remade, my barista, Jaden, didn't hesitate for a second. He listened carefully, confirmed what I wanted, and made sure everything was perfect before I left. That kind of customer service goes a long way. If you have a few minutes to spare, the inside is worth checking out. It's stylish and comfortable, with plenty of seating, contemporary decor, and even a small meeting room that appears to be available for reservations. Armor Coffee shop is a new-ish place to grab food or coffee in Wylie/ Murphy. It's really cozy inside. The ceiling is more industrial with dark, exposed beams. The rest of the interior features a lot of warm wood colors and warm lighting. There are a ton of of plants and all the chairs are either booth style or heavily padded to be super comfy. I tried chamomile tea (which was standard and yummy), but they also have breakfast options like waffles, avo toast, and more. I found the servers friendly. My only constructive feedback is that I found the music a bit loud for being able to hear the people I was talking to at all times. I could imagine it may be distracting if you were trying to read or work, depending on your focus abilities. I love supporting local businesses, and I will add this as a great go to spot to meetup with people. I would be glad to try some food options next time! read more

I always try non-bux coffee places when possible. I saw armor coffee while driving and decided to try it. The cashier was very friendly. I was disappointed to discover they do not have dark brew coffee available. I went with a medium roast. It was good, but not as good as I like dark roast! I saw they have a big kitchen and had breakfast options. I might have tried that if I hadn't eaten breakfast already. The sitting area was spacious, clean, and even had a few people who looked like they were working. I learned after walking out it's veteran owned. That's another bonus to support my fellow veterans! This was my first time ordering from this location(Wylie) for a medical office and although the service was amazing, I was disappointed to get feedback that there was a hair inside of the waffle. im very disappointed with my experience. I reserved a room for Sunday and received confirmation on the phone the booking was set FOR SUNDAY but when I arrived, I was told the room was already occupied because an employee had accidentally entered the reservation for Saturday instead. To make matters worse, I was told there was nothing they could do because the people using the room were there on a first-come, first-served basis, even though I had made and confirmed a reservation in advance. This was not my mistake, yet I was the one inconvenienced after planning my STUDY around having that room available. No apology from staff either. We left but then came back and had to tell them this wasn't our mistake at all and is not fair. After talking to another employee, they finally let us have the room. Stopped by for a coffee and it's nice. Spacious interior with the lots of seating, great for meeting with people or getting work done. There's even a semi-private meeting room (semi- bc it's a glass room with a big meeting table). The drinks were fine. Flavored latte was not overly sweet which I appreciate. My brothers got the cherry blossom chai and flavored frap, both enjoyed their drinks, I thought they were on the sweeter side. Service was great! They have a pretty extensive menu. Armor coffee just recently opened up nearby, so we had to give it a try. We went for their soft opening. The vibes inside were really nice and aesthetic. I respect a nice and clean workplace. that is going inside the shop. I would say this is a perfect spot to study. They do have wifi. It looks they have a study room as well which is pretty cool. It was one of the worker's first day, but she did really well. Service was great. I got the seasonal drink (cherry blossom iced chai), the signature drink white sands, jalapeno kolache, and chocolate banana bread The cherry blossom iced chai has a really floral coffee taste to it. It was okay to me. White sands tasted like a combination of vanilla, white mocha, and almond. It did have a slight peachy taste as well. The chocolate banana is really good and pairs well with the coffee. The jalapeno kolache was pretty solid. Pretty solid spot for coffee and good vibes! read more

The experience here for us was a total fail. When we arrived, the drive thru line was not too long, but the service was extremely slow. It took at least 15-20 minutes to make it to the window. The ham and cheese croissant was mostly bread and hard. The large jalapeño kolache had just one jalapeño on the top of the bread. Both items are overpriced for what you get. Our coffee was terrible. We ended up going to Starbucks afterwards. The ladies working there were extremely nice. I had driven by the complex the day before and saw that there was a new coffee shop, so I made it my mission to come try it out! The interior of the cafe is super nice and looks like a great place to chat with a friend but doesn't seem like a great place to get work done due to the chatter. I came in on a Saturday afternoon so maybe it'd be different on a weekday. I ordered an iced caramel latte hoping that their caramel syrup didn't taste weird like some cafes i've tried, but unfortunately it wasn't to my liking. There are just some cafes that use synthetic or fake-tasting syrups and I can't really explain it! lol The price for a small (12 oz?) was pretty decent, I think it was less than $6. Overall, I gave it 3/5 stars just based on personal preference. Service was good and wait time was decent for how busy it was. read more

Beautiful interior just like the Allen location, but better. I love that they have a private room for meetings. I also like how clean the cafe was. They have swag and coffee by the bag available for purchase. My favorite drink is the coconut latte, never too sweet, and perfectly roasted. They also have the delicious pretzels seems to be the same recipe as their brewery pretzels which are the best. Full cafe pastry menu and good lunch menu as well. We like the bacon egg tacos without all the fixings. Nice crispy bacon. Size is small but there is a special if you buy 3. I've never really had a good drink here. I've tried their lattes, a cappuccino, a London fog, cold brew. None of it is good. It's not actually bad though. It's just not good. I will continue to return because it's right by my work and I love to decompress in a cafe before I head home or to a second shift. And it's a pleasant experience! I think it's worth checking out if it's convenient to you, but I wouldn't reccomend going out of your way for it. It's beautiful inside. It's always clean, and the service is always great, the baristas are very efficient and gracious. Lots of people like it, it's usually fairly busy. It's one of the best spots to take a break from working at home I 've been there multiple times for that reason. However, during my last night visit, I had a disappointing experience.
