Cash only but they do take the app. Today they were out of lychee-what?! unlike any of my other stores, this one does NOT substitute for other teas. This is in the mall on the second floor. The wait time was about 7 minutes which was not too bad because I was not in a rush. OMG!! This bubble tea is so good here. I went here before I dashed off to Mandarin class. I was lusting after some bubble tea and thank goodness the first place I went to was being weird. I got the coconut milk tea with bubbles and it was so delicious. My friend had the Taro Milk tea with bubble and half the amount of sugar- she said it tends to be sweet. I LOVE sweet so I didn't take such drastic matters towards my bubble tea. I left with my teas and walked about 10 minutes to class. They give you these handy bags so you don't end up with half a bag of bubble tea. I will definitely try their other locations. read more

All the people are standing around and doing nothing at all for this non-busy and looked like they don't care there is one or two customers coming every two or three minutes or fifty at once..... please try to look busy at least.... only the girl with mask on at cashier was friendly and customers oriented at least. The girl who handled my drink, looked like she had a bad day or came in with pms.. she just putted the drink in front me without saying anything, and I had to ask her if it's my drink or not. The drink wasn't even probably mixed..... bubble were too warm and sat as a set at bottom of the cup with the sugar syrup..... it was unbelievable thing I have to witness.... Bubble tea itself is 4 stars. 2 stars off for terrible service. Kung Fu Tea is one of my absolute favorite bubble tea chains. I have it so often that I've even downloaded the app to make my purchases. Their milk bubble teas are "thicker" than most, as they go heavy on the creamer. It's definitely not the healthiest drink option, but it doesn't bother me. What does bother me is poor service. The workers at this location are too busy standing around chatting that I had to initiate the order. I'd wanted to try something new that day and was asking about the different tea/sugar level options. The person who took my order gave me short, curt answers. She took my payment and without a single word (no 'thank you', no 'you can pick up your order at the counter') turned away and continued on her conversation. No good. read more

Overall (3.5 stars): Kung Fu is definitely up there among the most well known bubble tea chains around. Their tea is on the much milkier and sweeter side which I actually unfortunately dislike. Even at 30% sugar level, I found the drink to be way too saccharine. What sets Kung Fu apart though is how amazing their tapioca is -- they are cooked with honey. Each pearl is has the perfect chewiness to it and a sweet mouth watering honey taste. Next time I'll have to get 0% sugar and let the boba carry all the sweetness. I do wish their tea was less milky and had more of a tea flavor like Chatime. If only I had a drink with Chatime's tea and Kung Fu's tapioca haha. Love this place I'm usually at the coco place because I only know about the tapioca milk and I wanted to venture out and try something different so I had their Yogurt Orange Juice at the forest hills location, I was in Flushing today to get some Royal Pudding and saw they had Kung Fu Tea next door, yay. So I said "let me try something new" I don't like tea (can't stand it) but I love juices n pineapple my favorite so I tried their Sunshine Pineapple Tea with Nata jelly so good and refreshing it has a lil hint of tea flavor but it's still good I'll definitely get more of this again and maybe I'll try other flavors... This is by far the best Kung Fu Tea within the proximity of flushing. It's inside a food court but less packed than the other one inside the New World Mall. As I was done with my drink and ready to suck the black balls of tapioca. I found hair inside my bubble tea. I didn't even get to suck that many balls of tapioca yet. I left it at 2 stars as this has never happened before and I am assuming that since I bought mine at 9pm that they were just in a careless and I want to get out of work mood, which I can understand. Can't believe I have waited so long to try Kung Fu Tea! Pretty much the best tasting tapioca drinks that I've ever had. The tapioca here have a slight sweetness to them and are cooked perfectly. If you don't like the tapioca balls, then choose one of their jelly options for your drink! Their teas and drinks themselves are so refreshing and the flavors just have a uniqueness to them that you can't find anywhere else. The milk teas are amazing, the coffee drink selection is an awesome find for any coffee lover, the fruity drinks keep you coming back for more. If you feel your drink may be too sweet, then ask for less sugar. Ask for no ice so that you get more of your drink and not just ice. Or half ice. Kung Fu Tea conveniently located in a small food court, inside Queens Crossing and next to a Paris Baguette. Their bubble teas are very well prepared. I think they're one of the last bubble tea shops to use the shaking machines.. most bubble tea shops now shake by hand (At least from what I've seen). The tapioca is cooked well and has a subtle sweetness. Large variety of flavors and toppings. In the summer especially, I love getting either their red bean or green bean slushies. Unlike the tiny Brooklyn and East Village locations, this Kung Fu Tea outpost is located in the spacious Queens Crossing Mall in the middle of Flushing and has a large, cafeteria style seating area. As with the rest, sparsely decorated and nothing special to look at. Their teas, on the other hand, are just as good as everywhere else. I'm addicted to their grapefruit green tea, made with grapefruit juice and with a distinct green tea flavor, just a touch sweet but really excellent. The Yakult (probiotic, fermented milk drink) grapefruit drink is also very refreshing. Other drinks I like (from their relatively small menu) include a bracing lemon green tea, red wow milk drink, and decent tapioca (although I rarely add it). A big step up from the usual Chinese tea place, and more expensive, but I think its worth it. Service is provided by the equivalent of Chinese hipsters, who act like they're really too cool to be serving drinks. Must be a requirement b/c the employees are all like that, in all three locations I've been to. Lower your standards for service and just enjoy the drinks! read more

Guess they have a captive market in the bowels of the flushing mall as they're still the best option for all your milk tea cravings. Hubby ordered his usual taro milk slush NO SUGAR. As for the the actual bubble tea, their signature drink is the Kung Fu black tea. It's very rich and sweet and I fear for my health with every sip. Something that addictive and tasty can't be very good for you, and who knows what else goes into that bubble tea that makes it taste so good. They are always "out" of mini bubbles when we ask for it. They're just too lazy to make it, even though it's advertised.

Definitively the best bubble tea in Flushing if not all of NYC.. They got their formulas down and its consistently well-made. No matter how busy they are, they've never screwed up my order. I usually avoid artificial/powder-made drinks at all costs but this is the only exception I make. Their new sugar system makes it easy to customize your drink just the way you like it, so I always do 30% sugar and that's perfect. I like that their signature coffee comes totally unsweetened so that if I get tapioca with it, it evens out because the tapioca is already sweet. I also enjoy that you have the option of getting less ice so you get more bang for your buck. My dad says the particular taste in Kung Fu tea that sets them aside from all the others might be that they use lychee honey? (made from bees that feed off of lychee flowers).. I don't know if that's true, but their tea definitely has fruity hints in it that I absolutely adore even though I didn't order a fruity flavor. read more

I just come here for my bubble tea fix if I have no other options. I am one of those bubble tea afficionados that go for purely regular bubble milk tea, no other flavors. I occasionally get a mango smoothie but that is for my husband or daughter. So my review is judging how their regular milk tea is like since that is the baseline of any bubble tea place. Their bubble tea is too milky and frothy. There is almost no tea taste to it. I'm a fan of Kung Fu. I've never had a bad experience and the people helping out there usually are friendly and offer advice for newbies. I like their fruity slush offerings and their regular tea as well. My gripe is with their milk teas. I think they use condensed milk which is fine for some (most) people, but the ingredient is way too sweet for my palette. It actually robs from the taste of the tea for me. I'm a big fan of Taro in any form, but I had to force myself to finish this one. I suppose next time I can just ask for about half the sugar, which is what makes Kung Fu great. My favorite would have to be the grapefruit (lots of pulp) green tea. The bubbles are so nice and sweet with the perfect softness.
