    Black Milk Tea

Black milk tea w/ popping boba- the tea was good, but I wish it was stronger. Tapioca or pudding goes better w/ milk tea, while popping boba goes better w/ fruit teas.

I came back to redeem my $5 voucher that they texted me about for my bday. The entire drink only costed me $3 even with a topping. Overall, it was a great purchase. The wait wasn't too long. I asked for zero sugar and it was still fairly sweet and light ice. Perfect balance !

they dont know hmwhat they are doing and super slow. too bad

this guys needs to do a better job. waiting 20 mins for my drink. they dont give a darn lots of poeple waiting in line. i better get starbucks next time

The individual we encountered seemed completely oblivious to our presence, failing to offer the level of customer service we anticipated. My wife made three separate attempts to engage him, starting with a polite "excuse me" to get his attention. Despite her efforts, he looked right past her and continued with his tasks, showing no acknowledgment of her attempts to communicate. It was quite frustrating to see someone so unresponsive when we were seeking assistance. So I went over and he did the same thing.

If I'm going to drink boba at Queens Center, then it's going to be at Gong Cha. Given all the mediocre bubble tea options in the past, I feel that the mall has really stepped up with Gong Cha, even if it is a chain. Even before COVID ravaged the borough, this spot had lines for days. It's clear that it's also the people's choice. Like most kiosks operating as food / beverage stalls, it's not very big. There isn't a lounge area like the nearby Starbucks or the luxury of many seats like the food court. When they're operating at full speed, they usually have a number of folks behind the counter which in turns keeps things fast and efficient. Overall, the drinks are good. The key is to really hone in on their seasonal "series" which range from fruity to fall flavors like strawberry, coconut, coffee, etc. While I have always liked their oolong / green tea anything, I think they've done a good job with their foams, which in boba land is not easy to master. Milk tea lovers will enjoy their options; I'm a sucker for their brown sugar *ginger* milk tea. While I can't say I love any of their yogurt based drinks, I understand it's still extremely popular amongst their fans. Prices are pretty standard; expect to pay somewhere between $4-5.50 for most of their drinks. They only offer medium or large and they're good about limiting sugar / ice upon request.

There's three Gong Cha locations in three different shopping centers close by, but this one in Queens Center mall is my favorite to go to. They never run out of menu items, move the line quickly, and are consistent with making my drink correctly every time.

    Worst Customer Service ever.

Tuesday, March 22,2023 12:30ish. Deserves negative stars due this guy's shady behavior. Asked where the restroom are for some older adults while some wanted to get beverages. The guy said there were no restrooms in this mall and I asked a security guy and he directed me upstairs. People ordered drinks and he was so dry with the interaction and when the drinks were made he put them as far away from them on the counter they had to go out of their way for them. Why not just hand them the drink? So, prepping drinks do not require gloves anymore? No way to treat potential or actual customers.

We have tried this place few times, many times the bubble tea are great but few times there is a drastic difference in taste, hence the 3 star rating !!! Its located within Queens Center Mall, right across Cellairis Phone Repair Shop, we mostly like to take the tea and shop around however if your in the mood to sit down, there are some comfy sofa's nearby next to Starbucks which you can utilize. I would recommend the following, if you have not tried it I feel you would truly enjoy it. One of them under Brewed Tea Series called Oolong Tea and the other one under Milk Tea Series called Brown Sugar Milk Tea. I usually ask for less ice and medium portion of tapioca.

Always a joy to have bubble tea when I'm back in city and Gong Cha is no exception. The downside is that 3J (tapioca, herbal jelly and pudding - I believe) only comes with the regular pearl milk tea, otherwise it counts as 50 cents per topping for an extra $1.50 for just toppings. Also, the bubble tea is best when it's still fresh, it's probably not be best if you keep it around and drink it for too long. I always enjoy the 5 option of different selection level of sugar and ice. Overall, very happy for QMC to have this addition!

    Top 10 best seller!

Bubble bubble tea!! Good thing Gongcha is in Queens Mall already. Location: It is located inside Queens Mall, I believe that's the second floor, in the middle. It is a take out order. No seating available. Service: Didn't really interact, its a order and go type. Food: They pick their top 10 best seller! (see pictures) I liked EARL GREY MILK TEA with 3Js: it comes with 3 jellies, one black one yellow and boba, the sweetness depends on you, but just take regular sweetness. TARO MILK TEA: good as well! Good amount of boba! Price rating: 4 out of 10. It's a normal price for a bubble tea. Get the earl grey tea with 3js! It is good! Will try everything in the top 10.

    The kiosk + menus

This Gong Cha is a kiosk on level 2 of Queens Center Mall, sort of at the center of the mall (the area above 92nd St). It's near a public seating area. It's a fairly ordinary Gong Cha. Bubble tea plus a few other drinks. It's a large chain, so you'd know what to expect from them. You can customize sugar and ice levels the same way as their other locations.

I have been to other locations of this chain and this one boasts the same good quality. This one is an open air stall upstairs near the Starbucks. For bubble tea, I like this one better than the Tbaar downstairs. I find that their drinks are tastier and slightly cheaper too. The boba balls are the perfect consistency too. I recommend the Earl Grey Milk Tea with 3 Js (comes with pudding, boba, herbal jelly).

This Gong Cha is inside Queens Center Mall, right across from Starbucks & next to Sephora and The Body Shop. It's a small kiosk and has shared seating area with comfy couches so you can grab a tea and sit after endless shopping. I usually get the milk foam green tea (30% sugar light ice) & lemon aiyu (basil seeds instead of white pearls, 50% sugar light ice). But this time I got earl grey latte (50% sugar light ice) and it was surprisingly good. Next time I would add pudding too! Bonus points for taking credit card.

HeyTea is my new obsession. Obviously obviously. Quality tea drinks that actually taste like tea,…read moreand unlike the other locations the wait tends to be pretty bearable, even on the weekend. Although a pro tip is to firstly order from the app (for the discounts and rewards) and then if there IS a wait, just walk a block over and kill sometime in the LIC food hall (maybe grab a snack to go with your tea drink). You could also hit up naisnow and get egg tarts (my personal fave egg tarts in the city right now) and have a little food crawl of sorts. HeyTea is delicious and always pumping out drinks no matter the time of day at this location. It's a small space and there's a relatively big team handling all the orders that keep coming in but they have always been patient and despite being busy never been too frazzled to help me out.

Stopped by Heytea and wow -- this tiny joint was packed. Definitely a sign it's doing something…read moreright. We showed up and ended up waiting a bit, only to realize (too late) that we could've ordered online ahead of time. Pro tip: save yourself the wait and order in advance! That said, they do have a kiosk inside, which helps move things along once you're there. The bubble tea itself was pretty good -- fresh, flavorful, and nicely balanced. The boba had a good chew, and the sweetness level was on point. Not the absolute best I've ever had, but definitely solid and worth coming back for. Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood. Just plan ahead if you don't love waiting in tight spaces!
