    The entrance... not accessible

Normally I won't patronize businesses that aren't wheelchair accessible. There are too many places to rent without steps. To rent a place that is inaccessible is to tell a large percentage of the population that the business does not respect these people. But yesterday was a particularly difficult day for me, and it was 91 degrees and I needed a reward for not bursting into tears. Therefore, I sent Jeremy up the steps. He came back with a Thai Milk Bubble Tea and it was cool and everything that I wanted in a beverage at the time. He also got himself an oolong milk bubble tea, which he thoroughly enjoyed. But now that I have written this review, I feel no need to give them any more of my money, considering they don't seem to understand that I (or other people of the disability community) exist.

Drove to the area for Korean food, and my obsession for bubble tea sniffed out this place a few doors down No different than the other lychee tea with add-ins that I've succumbed to my cravings on a regular basis, it WAS a bit more expensive than what I've been paying $9: lychee tea with 3 toppings Also, not sure why they call it toppings, when if added to the tea it goes to the bottom. If give it a 2.5...average. But that's not an option My friend also ordered 4chicken that were "Taiwanese spicey" and said they were pretty good, but also pricey The girls behind the counter were nice enough. And on a Sunday afternoon there wasn't much traffic

I visited yesterday and I had been craving some bubble and decided to catch the purple bus & head to my local KFT! Got the Winter Melon Milk Tea with Wow and the crunchy cheese curds!!! This was the first time they were as crispy as I like them and very fresh! The tapioca bubbles were chewy and yummy too, nice hard pieces at all. I was still across the street waiting for the bus when I started to want another one :( they so good! Ambiance here is always nice and welcoming, for my Spanish speaking costumers, be respectful of the Asian staff, they are all trying to learn the language to provide you a more personal costumer service experience. I enjoy this spacious establishment!

This location is on Johns Hopkins University campus. It also shares with TKK Fried Chicken. Left side of the counter is Kung Fu Tea and right side of the counter is TKK Fried Chicken. Nice place get your boba fix. And I can't believe I'm first one to review this location.

Arancini Palermo - Extremely disappointing. It was slightly burnt, and despite being described as containing a beef and pork ragu, I couldn't see or taste any meat. I initially thought we'd been served the Formaggi and even asked the server, who confirmed it was the Palermo after checking with the kitchen. The meat was supposedly very finely minced, but it was undetectable. Overall, the flavor was off. Service: They were nice, but slow and inefficient. When we asked for the check, we waited for about 10 minutes and no one had come. I ended up going to the counter to pay. After I had paid and returned to the table, my wife told me the server was walking around with a check, likely had forgot which table had asked for it. Ambiance: This was the best part. We sat outside, beautiful day. If you want to come to sit down outside on a nice day and have a drink, it would probably be enjoyable.

This time I went with Strawberry Lavender Danish...highly recommend, good balance of flavors and the strawberries were fresh. Elote cornbread was a tasty savory surprise, it has fresh corn and crema-like topping with jalapeños inside. And banana bread is always a star, tasty crisp top and comes with a cinnamon butter. Honestly was happy with all 3, would definitely get them again. I also got a Rosemary Nutmeg coffee, which was tasty but nothing super unique. Let's be honest though, the pastries are the main characters here.

Good news- many many crab dip bagels to be found. And of course it is still delicious. Bad news- that was about it for the lunch options cos that 11am sandwich offering stuff is almost sold out. There was only a couple ham croissants, a couple hot dog rolls and one veggie sandwich left. Mind you they stay open till 3pm. Once again the disappointment I always feel with this enterprise - I wish they would make more of each option on their bake schedule. They know they are popular and they always sell out of food. I can't eat bacon or ham - so really my only option on this day was the CDB (the veg sandwich got bought while I was behind the person who got it) I wanna support Cafe Dear Leon but man I wish they would look out for their customers more and make more of the things.

There are two kiosks where you order. I got the french toast matcha latte which was ready quickly. The matcha wasn't the best quality or wasn't prepared properly, imo. It tasted very soapy and the french toast flavor wasn't very noticeable. I've definitely had much better matcha in Baltimore and wouldn't recommend Llamas' if you're particular about your matcha. Maybe their coffee is better? I also noticed a section on the menu labeled "gluten free" but the only option listed was a bag of chips. Would be nice to see some other offerings for GF folks.

Bird in…read moreHand is a really cute cafe, bookstore, which I plan to return to try the coffee and pastries I stopped for their Community Dinner event called Eat with Me. It was a community dinner party with Chef Char. You had a choice of a ticket with or without wine pairing. Me and my friend chose the ticket with wine pairing. The ticket included two glasses of wine. The menu was not printed online so we went in kinda blind on what was served. The first course was a roasted vegetable dish which consisted of broccoli, fingerling potatoes and pears with a Greek yogurt sauce. The second course was chicken thighs with risotto in a tomato sauce and the third course was a granola strudel with pears. There was also an arugula salad with grapefruit segments and parmesan cheese. I can be brutally honest, none of the courses were seasoned well. The first course was cold, the vegetables were wilted and did not mesh well. Was not expecting pears to be with my roasted vegetables. The second course was underwhelming as well. The food did not have any flavor and the dessert was not my favorite at all. I only ate the fruit out of the dessert. The chef did come out and let us know what each course was, however I felt that she really wasn't too personable with the guests. A few of the guests at the table were her friends so she only engaged with them, and of course they hyped her up, however the food was bland and underwhelming and the majority of the guests including myself did not finish their plates. If there is another community dinner, I hope it will be with a different chef in mind As I stated before my review is of the event, not the business as a whole.
