Did someone say Filipino Empanadas? Berkeley's Kuboba Spot did and with the 6-pack deal, I tried almost one of each. Since I wasn't eating beef that day, doubled up on the chicken adobo and longganisa omelette although the embudito (pork meatloaf) ended up my fave followed by the spicy curry potatoes. Guess I just have to go back especially since I signed up for their loyalty program. A box of 6 was enough for lunch for two and leftovers.
The empanadas here were better than expected. Yes, they have filipino flavors of fillings, but they also offer so much more, and most of it in stock even less than an hour before closing time this past Saturday. I absolutely appreciate this, as it makes them more reliable to have options I like when I visit. We got the spicy curry, cheeseburger, and pepperoni pizza empanadas, and they were a good size, with flaky buttery crusts, and quality ingredients. Each was seasoned perfectly, and the recipes were really good, no need for extra sauce (though they offer a variety on the side). Now I wanna come back to try more of their empanada flavors. The guava jasmine green tea was tasty but sweet, even at only 25% sweetness. And the place was cute and cozy, got a welcoming vibe and were able to find dine-in seating no problem. Staff was friendly and provided outstanding service too.
Was going to get 3 empanadas, ended up with 6 because why not. My favorite was the chicken adobo, it was meaty, savory and packed a ton of flavor. My second favorite was mango cheesecake, it was decadent and sweet enough with the glaze on top. If you can, you should try the other flavors depending on what you'd think you'd like but definitely include both of those ones. I got full with 3 and I can eat a lot so they're definitely filling. They also come with chili oil that packs a punch and some sweet n sour sauce that complements the empanadas. The mango wall drink was good with a great mango taste. The boba was nice and chewy. Service is friendly and very helpful. Inside is that not that big but it seems more of a takeout spot. The pandan and ube drink were also on my list but I couldn't get 3 drinks so I will have to come back later for those. Overall, great place for empanadas and a sweet drink. Go check them out!
Came here for the first time today with my son to try these empanadas that had unique Filipino inspired flavors and every single one was AMAZING! I also got their flavor of the month which happened to be vegetarian (a creamy mushroom and spinach flavor) that my husband devoured! We came here while we waited to get adjusted at the Joint down the block, so I guess I'll be back every time that I get adjusted! This place is a must try! Empanadas are very delicious and the staff is super friendly!
Loved the fact that I could order a winter melon tea (not a usual offering on a menu so I was excited to see it!) with coffee jelly, but the 25% sweet was sooo sweet. That was as low sugar as you could go in the online ordering. I also like the fact that they have Filipino empanadas here, though I was too full to partake in any.
I have been to Kuboba a few different times. I have enjoyed each visit. My mom and little sister both love this place as well. We usually order drinks and food items. The staff is very nice. Drinks and food items are always delicious.
The enpanadas are delicious and good sized, we bought extras to take home, the potato curry was my favorite and the macha milk tea. If you buy milk tea you can adjust the sugar level. Great service, clean and good ambiance.
I got their mango cheesecake empanada, and it was nice and warm when it was given to me. The empanada had a sugar glaze and was filled with mango puree and cream cheese. It was surprisingly not too sweet.
Discovered this spot on Yelp as I was looking for a quick bite nearby - so glad I did! I ordered the Chicken Adobo and Mango Cheesecake empanadas, as well as the Mango with Fresh Mango Wall drink. Both empanadas were super flavorful - personally, I loved trying the Mango Cheesecake, but probably pass it on my second order (a bit too much cream for me). Like others, I found that the 25% sweetness level was just right for the Mango boba - it was perfectly fresh and didn't sugar me out. The interior is kind of small, but well-decorated - seems like a great hang-out snack spot. I ordered on Snackpass - my food was delayed a couple minutes, but the owner was super super sweet. Absolutely love all the options and will definitely be back!
This spot was #1 on Yelp's top eats list in SF so I knew I HAD to try it!! I ordered 3 empanadas here: beef stew, chicken adobo, and spicy curry potatoes with peas. All 3 of them were delicious!! I loved the texture of the bread part itself and the flavors of the filling were so good. They also offer 2 sauces to have with the empanadas and they enhanced it even more. If you're an empanada fan, I recommend checking this spot out! The store itself is on the smaller end, but there are a few seats if you want to eat there. I coincidentally came when they were having a Yelp experience, which was cool, and I loved all the Yelp decor. Service was also friendly.

The buko pandan drink here is amazing! Great pandan flavor and comes with homemade pandan jelly. I usually go with 25% sweet, which is their standard regular sweetness level and it's perfect. I've tried their beef stew, spicy curry, pepperoni pizza, and mango cheesecake empanadas. My favorites are their beef and curry. Street parking only and can be limited depending on when you visit. There was no parking on during the afternoon weekend when I came. You can order at the register or you can order on your own through the kiosk.
Kuboba Spot is the spot for Filipino fusion drinks and baked goods in Berkeley! A Yelp event introduced me to this glorious local business that I couldn't be more than happy to support! The shop is a wonderful addition to Berkeley, away from the Cal boba shops. No WiFi but there are a few tables scattered inside and outside for customers to hang out or work at. Ordering is prompt with the option to order online, through the tablet, or in person. Being family-owned, every worker I've interacted with has been extremely friendly, helpful, and hardworking. I was craving boba and my sweet companion took us here for drinks. He loves taro and got the Taro with Fresh Ube Wall and House Boba while I, a mango lover, had the Mango with Fresh Mango Wall with Lychee Jelly. We both got our drinks with 25% sweetness and Oat Milk. I love that toppings are included in drink purchases as well as dairy alternatives. I will say that 25% is their baseline but is quite sweet. We both favored the mango as it was creamy and you could taste the sweet mango. I'm partial to their pandan but this is a great option. The Taro was stunning to look at and good with chewy boba but we felt like something was missing--it didn't go to waste though. You won't be disappointed with such friendly workers and delectable bites and sips at this family business. For Berkeley dwellers and fans of Filipino fusion cuisine, Kuboba Spot is a great option for a small bite. Located off of Telegraph Ave. there is metered parking out front but free residential parking in the neighborhood.
Their empanadas are sooo good - flaky buttery crust, and delicious fillings. I love adobo & logganisa but never had it in empanada form, so wasn't sure if I'd like it, but they made these work so well, from the spices they use to the consistency. Service was also so friendly and genuine. I was able to get the 6 for $33 deal, which I'll probably do again, and they also have a 12 for $63 deal. Their empanada have a flaky buttery crust that holds up well to their rich fillings of Filipinos stews each with their side sauce. The boba drinks also have a Filipino flair with Pandan Coconut. I've also bought the milk tea party kit which includes a half gallon of milk tea, cups, straws, and toppings which was great for a half a dozen middle schoolers. read more
I previously had a chance to try some of their empanadas when they were served at an event I attended - I recalled eating the curry potatoes flavor before, which is indeed spicy (at least for me, who has a weak spice tolerance). I stopped by this past Saturday so I could try some other empanada flavors, the mango cheesecake and longanisa omelette; unfortunately, although strawberry cheesecake was advertised as the flavor of the month on the wall, there was another sign taped over it saying it was no longer available. I also decided to get a guava jasmine green tea, small size, 25% sweetness (which is their default) and with strawberry popping boba since the first topping is free. The small size is 16oz and $5.25 before tip/tax, where the large size is 24oz and $6.45 before tip/tax, with the exception of a few drinks that are subject to a higher charge. I did like the tea and it wasn't sweet at 25% sweetness level, which allows you to really taste the green tea, although I do wish there was stronger guava flavor and that it was possible to customize the ice level. The empanadas were really the star of the show, though; I enjoyed both of them, as the mango cheesecake really satisfies sweet and dairy cravings while the longanisa is more salty. They are a bit flaky, being pastries. The shop offers free sauces, one that is a slightly spicy sweet chili sauce, and the other is spicier. read more
The empanadas are fire, but the boba was a pass for me. Kuboba Spot has been on my list as they seem like a popular spot for boba lovers. Tucked in the busy streets of Telegraph, you'll be lucky if you get street parking. If you order online, you can snag temp parking (just flash your hazard's) to hop in and out. On a pouring rainy day, I was stoked for my chicken adobo and beef stew "kalderata" empanadas which came out SO warm and toasty. Crispy bite, with a steaming hot inside. Mm! The chicken adobo was THE ONE for me, so flavorful. And I couldn't wait to sneak a bite in the car, before I made it home. The lady working the register was so sweet, and offered me two of their dips which tasted like sweet n sour and chimichurri sauce. I got their popular buko pandan jelly with boba which is made with their homemade square-cut pandan jelly. IDK, the boba texture was more on the hard side, and the jelly I wish was thicker and chewier, as the jelly squares were a lil too tony to get a proper chew in. Regardless, Kuboba seems like a cute lil spot to get your fix of empanadas and filipino-flavored drinks. I loved the service and we love a BIPOC and local-owned biz. Representation for all my Filipinx who feel seen with this spot! (I know I do) I appreciate all the classic Filipino dishes made into small bites like empanadas. It's a creative way to let our dishes be accessible to those who are not as familiar with it. The mochi bread itself was really good too - Third Culture comparable! I did think that the drinks itself were pretty okay, I have had better Ube/Pandan flavored drinks but Kuboba is still a solid spot. I also love the interior set up- They did really well on making aesthetic background for all the food/drink photos. The staff here is SO kind! They made my experience here feel even more warmer. Kuboba Spot is a great place to grab a Filipino snack! I was in the area and saw these Filipino empanadas on Yelp and I knew right away I wanted to check them out. I got one of their Longganisa Omelette Empandas and that was delicious! I wish I had gotten two! In addition to their empanadas they also offer boba drinks on their menu. First-- service is excellent!!! Everyone there is very family oriented! They're located on Telegraph Ave but in the less busy/ crowded area; which is nice. I love the simple Philippine decor they have! If you're familiar with the Filipinx nursery/ folk song "Bahay Kubo," Kuboba Spot remind me of that- a comforting classic Filipinx song. I wasn't born in the Philippines but I know a little something something thanks to my mom and grandmas. They even have a little cut out of a Bahay Kubo as a seat that makes a great photo op. Here's the pagkain (food) I tried: EMPANADAS: Chicken Kaldereta Chicken Adobo Spicy Curry Flavor of the Month (sept): Togue SWEETS: Ube and pandan mochi Pandan Blondie DRINKS: Taro with Ube Wall Wintermelon Milk Tea I loooooove their empanadas! Freshly made to order and so so filling! The perfect comfort food. Each one i've tried carried the flavors so well! All of our nanays would be so proud! I came here for an Elite event and returned the next day. I ordered for myself and my husband and he loved the food. We returned together and parked here. My husband ordered his drink and I ordered mine. He ate his empanada and we walked up to the Telegraph Ave Street Fest as we sipped on our drinks. They were quite good. Again, the people working there were totally nice and they offered samples of some desserts. I couldn't eat them, but my husband could and enjoyed them. I already look forward to my next visit. I'm sure it will be fun. read more

My one and only go to spot for some nice buttery, flaky, hand crafted empanadas. My favorite empanadas here are the chicken adobo and the mango cheesecake. This spot also does a unique flavor of the month so keep an eye out for that. They also have a great selection of boba as well as an option to cater "party size" drinks. This cafe nails it with top-notch food, drinks, chill atmosphere, staff who always make you feel at home. It is an awesome way to represent the Philippines through their delicious and innovative menu offerings that blend traditional flavors with modern twists, capturing the essence of Filipino cuisine in every bite. read more
TOO DARN GOOD. Last Saturday I stumbled along this cute Filipino empanada bakery /boba shop. Right off the bat if you come during peak Berkely traffic hours it maybe a little tricky to find parking. I was there Saturday around 2ish and I was able to park right in the front. Staff is extremely accommodating and nice. Thanks for helping me guys! Lol I was also clumsy . Okay! So super excited to share but I loved every single empanada I got. * BEEF KALDERETA (BEEF STEW) * FILIPINO SPAGHETTI * MANGO CHEESECAKE Umm... such a guilty pleasure. It was so flaky and filled with stuffing. Every bite was so savory and satisfying! They have this EPIC garlic oil sauce that I cannot get over. Anywho. See you guys this weekend! 10/10 and 5 stars all around. This has become one of my favorite east bay gems. The owners and workers are incredibly kind. The empanadas are absolutely delicious and delectable. I love their house made spicy chili oil sauce - definitely has a kick so be warned! I tried ever flavor they offered and there are literally no bad flavors. Whether you are in a sweet or savory mood, they've got you covered. Their drinks are yummy as well! The pandan drink has my heart, but I also enjoyed trying the drinks that my friends got. The ube drink and tiger milk tea were both rich and flavorful. They offer milk teas, speciality drinks, coffee, and iced teas as well. Next time, I need to try their guava tea. That sounds incredibly refreshing. The owners were also generous enough to add a mini flan to my order. Even the flan was made perfectly - so smooth and creamy. The interior is so cute! Fun colors, brightly lit, and adorable bahay kubo (filipino huts) inspired decor. They sell tons of cute merch and plushies. The parking is also not too difficult. I wish I lived closer to Kuboba Spot because recently I am always craving their empanadas. I love exploring different Filipino food spots with my parents. We can easily make the traditional Filipino food at home so they don't often venture out to try something different - and that's where I come in. AND that's where places like Kuboba Spot come in. My mom and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. Easily found street parking right in front, just paid the meter for an hour or so. The shop is small with limited seating inside and a few tables out front. I do love their cute bahay kubo photo spot. We decided to try a variety of empanadas: chicken adobo, kaldereta, spicy curry, longanisa omelette, and embutido. My fav was the longanisa omelette. I was expecting pieces of longanisa and scrambled egg on the inside but instead it was all ground together - still good though! I also really liked the chicken adobo - hard to go wrong with that Filipino classic. I'm definitely going to try out the pepperoni one next time. As for drinks, we got the classic milk tea and mango with fresh mango wall. I got confused when ordering the classic milk tea - their standard is 25% sweet. I opted for the 50% sweet thinking that was the less sweet option like other boba spots but it was actually more. So my drink was a bit sweeter than I usually like but my fault! I know for next time. The mango with fresh mango wall was really good! Especially the fresh mango part. You could tell it was real fruit! Service was quick and we didn't have to wait too long. Just enough time for us to snap some photos at their photo spot while we waited! Can't wait to go back! read more
Kuboba Spot has been so uniquely retrofitted with a cute bamboo seating hut at the left and a bamboo covered front counter that it is unrecognizable as a subway shop it once was.. offerings: empanadas, desserts, baked goods, teas, covfefe, boba drinks. eats: beef stew/spicy potatoes w/peas/chicken adobo empanadas @5.95 -these tasty morsels originate from illocos province in the Philippines, some have original fillings, some have U.S. inspired ones. -these are different from their South American cousins in that they are larger, less brick like, have tastier fillings, are made fresh, and very delicate. -empanadas so fresh and thin textured, they break easily due to thin crusts. the eating sensation is better when reheated to a baked, sturdier crust. -a definite return to try some freshly made Philippine baked goods, (i.e. not made from factory :) take outs: -courteous, smiling , quick service, yummy eats and treats. 5 stars. -all offerings are Philippine inspired. boba tea available in 1/2 gallons for special occasions. read more
Stumbled on this spot while walking to dinner on Telegraph and so glad I did. This spot is awesome! I loved that their standard sweetness level is "not too sweet" (25% sweetness level) because us Asians have that not-too-sweet gene you gotta cater to. On top of the boba drink being just the right amount of sweet, the boba was made to perfect, both sweet and chewy. The kaldereta empanada was also fire! Highly recommend this spot over MOST of the boba shops on Telegraph! Can't wait to go back and try their pandan butter mochi!!!!! read more
Filipinx-owned & inspired, this spot is a must! I wish I lived closer! *Parking is a bit difficult but fortunately we found a spot right around the corner There are different drinks to try and a top 10 menu of their most popular drinks. You can adjust the sweetness, ice level and add the first topping free! Additional toppings are 75 cents extra. You can order the drinks regular sized or upgrade to a large and the price difference isn't much! We ordered the specialty drinks and omg, it's so good! Your drinks are carefully crafted and made to perfection. Now moving onto the empanadas! Everything is made fresh and right in front of you. Baking is about 10-15mins depending on what you ordered (& if there isn't any already ready) and it's well worth the wait. The bread is crisp but very soft once you bite into them. It's a pretty decent sized too and we'll worth the price of $6. Because it's right out of the oven hot, it tastes even better and pairs perfectly with your drink. I can go back to order these empanadas alone! We tried the chicken adobo & the mango cheesecake and both were equally delicious! I walked in with high expectations and left so satisfied! read more

Gotta say this place is such a hidden gem. Their interior is super cute and the staff is so friendly! Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't too packed. I got their Taro with Fresh Ube Wall and Buko Pandan with Pandan Jelly drink. Both were soooo good. They used real taro in the drinks and you can definetly taste it. It had a prominent taro flavor and was not watered down. I stuck with their default 25% sweetness and it was perfect. As for the pandan drink I got 50% sweetness instead of their default 25%, it still wasn't too sweet. Pandan flavor was stong as well along with a hint of coconut in the drink that made it even better. The jelly is light in pandan flavor and not too overpowering. Rating: Taro w/ Fresh Ube Wall: 4.8/5, I would prefer it to be even stronger in ube flavor. Buko Pandan Jelly: 5/5, the drink was amazing, would order again. Overall: Their drinks were unique and high quality. I would definitely come again and give their other drinks a try. They also sell empanadas, which they make from scratch fresh in store. Didn't get them this time but will definitely be back to try it out. read more

A new hidden gem in the area! They have great food and drinks with a unique twist. I got the guava jasmine green tea with lychee jelly, and the chicken adobo and longanissa omelette empanadas. The tea was amazing -- great strong tea flavor which I love, and not too sweet! The empanadas were also so good! I don't know how they pack such good flavor into it and maintain the great texture of the empanada dough, but it was delicious. The staff is also super friendly and the interior of this place is also really cute. I'd highly recommend this spot! read more

To start off, we ordered one of each of the empanadas. My favorite has to be the beef stew and pizza. For one, i appreciate that the pepperoni is chopped fun, so when you go in for a bite or with a fork, not a whole chunk or slice of pepperoni comes out. The beef stew had great flavors, and ratio was perfect in my opinion. I did also try to chicken adobo, but it was a very strong flavor of chicken, because the meat choice used was dark meat. I love dark meat, but it was a tad too strong in this application. I still have a few more to try, but i def will be coming back. The neighborhood that it's located in, is not too busy, so parking is easy to find. I got the lychee green tea for drink, and i love my teas to have strong tea flavor. This definitely didn't disappoint. I am boring with my drink choices, but because they're so boring, they need to have strong flavors. Check them out and show some love!! read more
It was exciting to check out this 3-month old, Filipino establishment, recommended by Yelp Elite! I thought it was only a boba place, but they might as well be known for their empanadas! Fresh rolled dough and freshly baked empanadas reminded me of "home." It'll warm your heart to bite into the crispy tasty dough and heavily filled empanadas! Each empanada is meant to be shared for its size. We ordered 6 and shared each one, so we could try several flavors. Kaldereta was our favorite, savory ground meat with potatoes and peas in red tomato sauce, mildly spiced. Spicy Curry was my 2nd favorite. Spicy also but nothing water or soda couldn't handle. Adobo had chicken bursting out of its seam(little too much for me), and for dessert, mango cheesecake empanada, for your cavity party! I was sent here for a Yelp! Event/recommendation. I don't eat or drink at boba spots so this was going to be a truly new experience. First of all this neighborhood is SO nostalgic for me. I spent so much of my 20's coming to telegraph, using the bathroom at Andronicos, hanging out at Skillz record shop and eating Fat Slice. So coming to this area was a treat in itself. I got the winter melon black tea with standard sweetness (you can select 25, 50 or 100% sweetness level), two pepperoni pizza, one mango cheesecake and one chicken adobo empanada. The drink was refreshing, and strong. I was nervous I'd be up late so I only finished half and had the rest the next evening. The empanadas were DELICIOUS! The first pepperoni pizza one I had was a little salty, but when I had the second one it was perfect so I'd say it was amazing. The mango cheesecake was so good. I love cheesecake and this was a great way to enjoy that desert. I also ate this one in two servings. The chicken adobo was hands down my favorite. Oh man it was flaky pastry and the chicken was seasoned well. And so tender. I wish I had gotten two. The girls working so straight up friendly. Pleasant, chill, and attentive. Was in the area and had to drop by to give this a try. Normally not in the Berkeley area, but was hanging out with friends and we decided to grab some boba. What i enjoy about Kuboba is that it isn't as sweet as most places, but they do give the option to do more sweetness if you have a sweet tooth. We had quite a few questions when ordering and the person helping us was wonderful in answering all of our questions. ordered the matcha milk tea, guava jasmine green tea, and the longanisa empanada. Enjoyed both the drinks and empanada. Will be back again. read more

When you see a reel on IG and think "dang that looks good". It really is that good!! I had the cheeseburger one first and the cheese pull was on point. The thousand island inspired dipping sauce was a nice touch. I really wanted the favor of the month: Spaghetti as well so I cut one in half. Let me tell you, the clouds parted and angels sang. I'm blown away. I can't wait to try the other flavors I bought. We gonna be eatin' this weekend!! read more
This is a very unique place where they do a fusion of empanadas with some Filipino classics and other creative fillings, as well as a boba shop. It also has a nice picture booth to take some pictures while you wait for the food. My friend and I shared a 6 piece empanada deal #1 for $33+tax, which sounds a bit pricey but each empanada is very huge. I could probably just eat one and be full, so eating a total of about 3 pieces got us super stuffed! We got the pepperoni pizza, chicken adobo, mango cheesecake, lemon cheesecake crumble, longganisa omelette, and pork meatloaf (embutido). I really enjoyed the chicken adobo and the pork meatloaf the most, as the meat is super tender and the spices carry forward some of the buttery flavor of the empanada itself. The pepperoni pizza is also solid as they have toasted cheese on top of the empanada for the added flavor. I also enjoyed the sweet empanadas as most of the empanadas I have eaten so far are savory. Both the lemon and mango cheesecake have a frosting on top which makes it a bit sweeter, but the overall empanada was not terribly sweet which is fine. The filling itself has the right amount of sweetness, so one feedback I'd like to give is that the frosting on the exterior is not really needed. Regardless, I am a fan of the mango cheesecake for the fruity flavor and the lemon cheesecake crumble for the great contrast of sweet and tangy. This was one of my favorite spots I tried in Berkeley and definitely one of the spots I will try to go back to whenever I can! Mostly for the empanadas... the drinks are also really reasonably priced at $5.25 with topping included but the empanadas are absolutely worth a trip alone. I first tried the chicken adobo empanada and the filling was so flavorful. The outside is also really flaky and great with the sweet chili sauce and chili oil that they provide. I went back a few weeks later to try the longganisa omelette empanada. This one was also really delicious but I think between the two, the chicken adobo was my favorite. For drinks, I tried strawberry potchi and the mango with fresh mango wall, both with lychee jelly. Keep in mind their default sweetness is 25%, which I think was a good level but I probably could have asked for even less sweetness and it still would have tasted sweet. Of the two drinks, I liked the mango one more and would get it again! Overall, I would definitely recommend Kuboba Spot to anyone in the Berkeley area looking for a unique, delicious, and quick snack. read more
A nice small new boba spot outside the cluster of boba spots near UCB campus :) The staff was very attentive and polite when I arrived. I got there a but early and they gave me a good time estimate on when my order would be ready (empanada and drink). The staff told me they were working on my curry batch and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't all premade frozen I ordered the curry potato peas empanada. The potato's were cooked perfectly to provide a nice texture, not too mushy or overcooked. The taste of the curry was on the mild side and the peas were more dominant taste. It might be a bit different for batch to batch. I prefer my curry to have more of a bite / spicy zing. They provided some chilli dipping sauce to satisfy the need. For my drink I had the buko panda drink with homemade pandan drink +added extra boba+lactose free milk. Big thank you to Kuboba for thinking of lactose intolerant people and providing a free swap to lactose free milk. The drink itself was a little too sweet for my taste even with my order being 25% sweetness. read more

Now I know why this place received 5 stars from the friendliest service to the delicious yummiest Pandan Blondie & kid-friendly drinks, I can't wait to return! Ordered: Pork Meatloaf "Embutido" - This was delish with a hint of sweetness. Beef Stew "Kaldereta" - Pretty delish, and I liked this more. Pandan Blondie - Yum and MUST TRY! This yummy goodness fudgy bar had a yummy moist & soft pandan, sliced almonds, & white chocolate!!!!! Btw, call ahead because they only make it when they're not busy. I love the multiple selections of kid-friendly drinks without TEA!!! Taro with fresh ube wall - Yum & must try! Strawberry Potchi - Yum Mango with fresh mango wall - Yum I have had yummy Columbian empanadas in SJ and never had a Filipino version, so this was quite interesting and not bad.
