We were in the area and decided to give this place a try. There's a lot of street parking. It's a small spot more of a grab and go. You walk in and order on the kiosk. I did like that there was a lot of options and pictures they way you know what you're ordering. They bake the empanadas here and I really like that instead of fried ones. I ordered nopales and cheese empanada and my husband ordered beef. I like that there was a vegetarian option because don't always want meat. My empanada was delicious and it was the perfect size. Definitely would recommend trying this spot. Food is delicious!

Authentic Argentinian empanadas with good variety of flavors. They're usually freshly baked. Limited indoor seating available but plenty outdoors given close by small park! Service is OK. Free street parking available. This corner shop is clean with decent bathroom. Mushroom one is my favorite!

The sign says the best empanadas in the Bay Area!! They don't lie!!!! We've been back again and again and have tried the Fugazetta, Ham and Cheese, Chorizo, Chicken, Beef and Mushroom. The coffee, Chai and refreshers are also amazing!!! Wow wow wow everything is so good Chimichurri sauce is amazing. I've heard that some folks even buy extra so they can mix it with mayonnaise and make a secret sauce for their frites. They are even planning a spinoff called Burritto Queen. Can't wait to try those too. And they have a charming spot with outside tables, just fantastic.

The mocha drink was really good, just the right amount of chocolate to coffee ratio. The empanadas were great, crispy but light dough with a hearty amount of filling. I liked the soyrizo one the more, super flavorful with a good amount of veggies in it. The store was super clean. The barista was very kind and whipped everything up fast.

They are very generous with the beef!

ive never had mushroom-based coffee and cafe buenos aires made my first experience that much more special bc of so! the shop itself is so intimate and staff were really sweet and attentive to my visit! my favorite empanada would be the mushroom one! during my visit i ordered/tried the chorizo empanada, beef empanada, mushroom empanada, along with mini beignet chocolate trio (White, Dark, Hazelnut) and for my coffee i got the chagaccino! which at first i was hesitant to try bc i heard mushroom based coffee?? but the taste was actually did not have any mushroom flavors and the mixture of the drink itself made the drink itself taste delicious so 10/10 would recommend for yall to try it out! for the beignet they were good but i think i would prefer other fillings -however if youre a fan of chocolate then yall would really appreciate this trio loved how relax and intimate the whole visit felt. theres a small indoor seating along with various outdoor seating spots nearby! tips: street parking available lots of food and menu options available

Everything we tried was great! Service was top notch :) Must try flavors are the Mushroom and the Spinach & Feta empanadas! Flaky and not too doughy with the right amount of filling. Had to order some To-Go.

Came here on an early Wednesday morning and it was pretty dead. It was myself and one other person as seating is limited. It is also around some medical buildings so I suspect that most people use this place as a grab and go as they serve both food and coffee. I wanted to crab a coffee and a light bite to eat so I went with an americano and a chorizo empanada. They have a variety of empanadas to choose from whether it be beef, chicken, chorizo, or vegetarian options. I will say that the empanada is pretty pricey. Almost $6 for one of them. The americano ranges in price based on the amount of shots of espresso you get. I would say that the coffee is a normal price for the most part and is average. The empanadas are also average and definitely not worth the price. I am aware that empanadas are probably not as common in the area, but I couldn't justify paying the price when you have other options in the area. This honest reality is that this is located in a place of convenience, so they can have the prices be fairly high, but since I was only passing through, I probably will not be back.

The chai itself was worth it though. My friend and I both got the karak chai, mine was cold and hers was hot. Both really good although the flavor came out better hot.
