Also whatever you do don't ask for rhinestones I showed her the design I wanted and she still did what she wanted to do resulting in some of the ugliest crap I've ever paid for I normally would have made them fix it but I was pressed for time I can only blame myself though for being lazy and not going the shop that I knew would have slayed my set instead of patronizing this humdrum place out of convenience..they pedicures were ok but they did a crap job on my eyebrows not sure who they're target market is but it certainly isint anyone under 40 overall it was $100 wasted still not sure what I paid for read more

I made the worst decision to go this shop when the nail shop I went to was randomly closed on a Tuesday. I came right before the shop closed at 7. There were two workers inside. The price of the manicure was $5 more than I was used but I was willing to pay. So, some things kind of rub me the wrong way. First the lady who was doing my nails came off as kind of mean and kept grabbing my arms, after just shaping my nails and giving me a 30 second rough hand massage they told me I needed to pay, I didnt like that. All the nails shops I went to had me pay after my nails were completely done. I started having second thoughts about that and wanted to leave but they tried to keep me inside and was saying there were going to get the cops (security guard). I politely waited until the security guard to explain my side. They was telling the guard I didn't have money, when I did..I would've stayed and paid after they finish the service completely. I even offered to pay half the amount, since they didn't even apply the color yet. They started taking pictures of my license and treating me like I was a criminal because of a half done manicure. I love it here!! If you're looking for a new salon to frequent, this is your place. I last minute decided I wanted to get a pedicure late on a Sunday. Unfortunately everything was closed. I had to check yelp for places close by and found KT Nails, without their hours posted. I called and they said they had closed at 5 (it was now 6) and told me to come in anyway! After I got here, the two ladies promptly greeted me. I also noticed another woman still here, and they took in one more after I came in, so they definitely accommodate for walk ins. I apologized for coming after hours and thanked them for staying open for me. They were so sweet, and they kept telling me, "Don't worry honey, don't worry! We are happy to help you!" I felt so welcomed and comfortable. I quickly hopped in a chair and opted for their 37$ (kind of pricey but well worth it) pedicure package. It included many massages in between a hot stone rub, a hot towel wrap with lotion, and those bags full of oh so beautiful wax (my favorite!). I also chose French tip for my color, and I must say, they did a wonderful job. The lady that did my nails, she was great. Super friendly and got to know me. Her name is Ann! Definitely ask for her! The other lady even came over to speak to me a little bit, telling me that they are the new management and are trying to advertise through word of mouth. I can understand that struggle and I want to help as much as I can! Overall it was a great experience, and it's right down the street from where I live! The service is excellent, they have disposable mani/pedi kits so everything is clean. There was sanitizer in my foot bath, and again another sanitizer in a spray bottle before the painting. DO NOT COME HERE. I came here to relax and get a pedicure not to get tricked into spending more money. My feet weren't properly scrubbed, the pedicure itself was below average. I told her I wanted a basic white pedicure and she picks a shellac color which I had told her earlier I didn't want to try to upcharge me then she gets a attitude about it and tells me to go pick another color. I didn't like the way she tried to purposely get a rise out of me when she was the one that was in the wrong. They then began talking back and forth while looking at me. At first i just wanted the $25 pedi but they convinced me to get the $30 w/ hot towel and the stuff they pit your feet in (can't remember the name). Helen did my feet and she did a great job. Hallelujah! 3rd time's a charm. I recently moved here from NJ and finding a nail salon has not been an enjoyable experience up until now. I was starting to get concerned if a decent nail salon existed. I found it! Here's why this place gets 5 stars from me: 1. Clean, spa like, organized 2. Eureka! They have PERFECT MATCH. (If you don't know what this is, you're missing out) 3. Awesome pedi, the deluxe pedi included a citrus scrub, mask and hot stone massage - standard. 4. PERFECT filing and paint application. (Terrible jobs at the first 2 salons I went to) There were 2 sweet ladies in the shop when I got there and I was the only one so they did my mani and pedi simultaneously and I got gel mani and deluxe pedi in and out in 1 hour and for $55. Can't beat it. Also, a regular mani pedi is only $28. I will definitely be taking advantage that as well. read more

Ok so I'm a little iffy about them. Cute little nail salon and pricing is good but I found it weird it kept going up for every little thing. I was told my acrylic coffin nails would be $25 which is awesome believe me I pay over $50 in Katy. She did such a great job but kept hurting my cuticles by filing way too deep and OPI if you do the silver top vs black top is an extra charge so I thought that was dumb. I ended up paying $35 more then quoted. I could've just gone to my regular spot so it's ok I would say. Ask before you do anything because they charge do everything even to clean your nails before you do a service which is stupid in my opinion. They have new owners and are now open 9-7 Monday - Saturday and 11-5 on Sunday's. The prices have went up slightly but for the great service you will not mind the 3 to 5 dollar increase. I got a mani/pedi and the new owner cleaned up my eyebrows and put lashes on that I brought with me. I have been going here for over a year and see that I will continue to go for many more years. I was attempting to go to Westheimer Nails per a friend's reference but mistakenly went here instead. 1) Good service, I thought they were opened until 6pm but their hours were actually until 5pm. I arrived shortly after 5pm and they still took me for a mani/pedi. Very nice! 2) The pedicure was enjoyable and relaxing! 3) I think the services are over priced. I normally pay $30 for both mani/pedi. This venue's standard price for both is $40 and I got a special pedicure so I wound up paying $45 4) My nail polish on both my hands and toenails from my $45 mani/pedi chipped 2 days later. Argh! I've never had that happen before. I don't do mnaual labor for an occupation. So I'm assuming it was the lack of quality of the polish. The owner gave me a $5 coupon to use on my next visit but I have to spend $50 to use it. Who is spending $50 on natural nails and a pedicure!?! No thanks! Overall, I don't think I'll be returning and will continue my hunt for a new favorite nail salon. read more

I came to KT Nails explaining that I travel frequently and cannot maintain a regular schedule on manicures, but I also needed my nails to look 'finished, professional, and conservative'... also, my nails break and are thin... I work in sales and need my hands to look impeccable. Kevin suggested that we try a clear Solar... My nails look incredible... up to 3 and a half weeks after a manicure! ...As long as I keep the cuticles trimmed. The solar also keeps my nails from breaking as frequently as they had in the past. I just had the worst nail salon experience ever. I travel for work, so I've been to several salons around the country. First, the gel nail color I selected was completely different from the actual nail color when they painted it on. Then, my nail technician cut my cuticle too deep and made me bleed, then had a towel piece stuck in my nail and got annoyed and refused to fix it when I asked. My cuticles are all painted over with the gel nail polish, and my nail polish is not smooth because they didn't wipe down my nails with alcohol before applying the nail polish.
