I went there to get my eyebrow waxed. They mess me up badly. One eye brow was longer than the other and one was ache and round. I left crying and I told them it was mess up and I showed them a picture of me before I came and they said I'm a liar and I took the picture a year a go. It was the worst ever!! Still here and loving my nails! They use a plastic cover over their pedicure bath and all the utensils came out out of a new plastic casing. I love how people where coming in, but they continued to be patient and take their time. I've been looking for a good nail spot I can go to when I come into town, AndI believe I found one! I have frequented several nail salons and I tell you...I love it at KT Nails!!!! I have been driving across town for a couple of years to have my nails (feet/hands) and eyebrows (threading) done bi-weekly. The staff are SUPER nice, EXTREMELY knowledgeable and are NOT in for the $$. I was AMAZED at their honesty, knowledge and AWSOME customer service. My nails were seriously infected and in terrible shape - to the point I was considering going to the doctor. The manicurist told me "no...follow my recommendations and your nails will be fine". I did and I tell you my nails look perfect now. I truly recommend this salon; they emphasize and promote health over $$ and customer service is TERRIFIC...I would not trade this salon in for all the Tea in China!!!! :-) read more

discovered this new place by the boba place we frequent. i went here on memorial day and boy it was the best day. the shop wasn't as busy and the owner (who did my nails) catered to me right away. I got gel manicure for $25. It's so worth it it because the application was not hurriedly done, just the right thickness and the perfect color. Even my husband complimented it. It's been 2 weeks since I went there and so far my nails still look great. Of note, i work in the healthcare field and I wash my hands 1000x. The gel never chipped or peeled. They were able to assist me right away & provided nice & quick service. I will definitely be back! Total was $40, $25 for regular pedicure & $15 for manicure. 2018 update: as nice as the owner is I've noticed some things that will cause me to never go back. I speculated this but it was confirmed today. She charges differently every time I go. The last time, my total was 70. Today it was over 90. I have NEVER spent that kind of money & I've gone to high end nail shops for as long as I can recall. I was there for awhile because she is short staffed. Plus she clearly charges what she feels like charging due to lost business. Previous review (no longer valid) This nail shop is awesome! This was the most non relaxing pedicure I have ever had. The lady was so rough, kept hurting me and saw that I wasnt comfortable but kept on. I have a good tolerance for pain but when I get a pedicure I should be relax. Definitely don't recommend. read more

I'm new to the area and found KT Nails on yelp, it had good reviews so I thought I would try it. I arrived and was immediately seated with no wait! Anna was the sweetest nail tech I have ever had! I like my acrylics very short and she is the first one that has listened to me and actually made them short! The color is beautiful and she did such a great job! for a full set with shellac I paid $45, which is incredibly reasonable for the quality I recieved. ai will absolutely be returning! read more

I love this place! I came here over the summer when I was pregnant and fell in love! It is a nice quiet friendly atmosphere Kevin does my nails and he is so good. I only get shellac and when Kevin does it my color last 2 weeks +. I also love the great nail advice he gives me since I am a stay at home mom who is constantly cooking and cleaning. Kevin takes his time when cutting my cuticles so I haven't had any issues here! I will definitely recommend this place if you are new in the area. read more

I had just moved to the Houston area and went here because of the great reviews. The nail salon is clean but the staff is rude. I came in for an acrylic nail removal and gel manicure with my natural nails. I waited patiently for 30 minutes and politely told them I would come back the next day because I had to meet a friend in an hour. The lady insisted I wait just two minutes and she would do my nails. I waited and told her that I wanted my acrylic removed (which I have had done before and it requires soaking the nails in acetone and filing and drilling off the excess acrylic). She then grabs my hand and rips the acrylic off of my nails while taking a layer of my nails with it. No soaking at all. I told her to please stop and that it hurt and she says "That's how I have to take the acrylic off your nails." She then proceeds to speak in another language to the nail tech sitting next to her and they laughed while looking at me. I had to keep my composure and keep myself from crying and storming out. My nails were now paper thin and my nails were only only as long as my nail bed. I just knew I would never come back there again. It took forever for my nails to grow back healthy and this was over two months ago. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Horrible service and they have horrible attitudes. read more

I got a mani/pedi and I don't know what kind of magic they worked but the polish has been on for more than SIX DAYS and still has not chipped. My first and last time ever going to this overly priced nail shop. I have a nail shop/nail tech that I have been going to for years but she was booked so I tried this one after seeing the reviews on here. I went in very clean and the service was good, I got a pedicure with Kim which was great she did really good but I noticed the price for a regular pedicure was $25 I'm like ok that's fine $5 more than I normally pay. I also needed a refill and at the time I had color powder they were pink so I chose a gray knowing it would be dark enough to cover the pink. Vee did my nails and it took her almost 3 hrs just to do a refill I was so upset but the nails didn't look bad in the shop so I calmed myself down, when it was time to pay she charged me $40 just for the refill and I'm like excuse me how much? She goes because of the length and the color change but I'm like you did not do the first set and my actual nail tech doesn't charge that much this is ridiculous. I paid of course but I was highly pissed and then they gave me some stupid $5 off when you spend $50 or more as if I would ever step foot in that place again. Then to top it off when I got in my car because I'm super picky about my nails I could still see Pink on parts of my nails that she did not cover enough smdh. I was so frustrated I just drove off like if you charge me $40 for a refill my nails should have been flawless, they were neat as long as it took her but they were not flawless I should not have been able to see my previous color. I don't know if they went up on the price because I told them the side of town I live on or the way I was dressed but I will never go back there ever again or refer any business to them such a rip off, so I hope that damn $65 in total was worth it read more
