The guy working on the weekends did not listen to the service requested. The length was super short from what I told him . He was also very impatient. When I told him that the cut was uneven and choppy (because he used a razor), he got really upset and started chopping my hair even shorter. He was not friendly even when he messed up. I don't usually write reviews but it was extremely disappointing and I would have to live with this messed up cut for a few months. I do not recommend the experience. read more

Been to this salon 3 times now since they opened and they are awesome! Karen the Co-owner is really nice! Don't forget to check out her pretty photo on the wall. I do my highlights and cut with Vivian and she is great! She listens and does exactly as you ask. My hair came out beautiful! She does great cuts for long hair too. My hair is looking longer, thicker and better than ever. Definitely a great addition to Lake Forest. read more

I've been coming here for almost a year. I was referred to Karen by two of my buddies who were getting their haircuts from her at her previous employer. I like that I can call or text for appointments for me and my kid. She always does a great job with my fade and trim. She even had one of her stylists hook up my kid with a low taper and perm-his request. As a guy you know how important it is to have someone that can do a good job consistently since you're going to be getting haircuts every 2-3 weeks. Nowadays with most goods and services costing more and more, their prices are very reasonable $18 for a cut/fade. Keep up the great work Karen! read more

This salon does not charge enough for the excellent haircuts and trims it provides! Karen is the owner and she is a veritable artist of hair styling. This shop is located in a very nice Lake Forest strip mall and the parking is plentiful. If you need a new hair style or other professional hair services, this is the place you should try. Walk-ins are welcome, but you may have a bit of a wait. Best to make an appointment. read more

Unfortunately, this was my second negative experience at this salon, and I won't be returning. The first time I brought my daughter in, we had an appointment, but still waited 30 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us -- and the salon wasn't busy. One stylist was working, and the other was in the back on her phone. Despite the delay, they did a good job on her haircut, so I decided to give them another chance. I called yesterday to book an appointment for today at 2 PM. I even rearranged a few work meetings to make it happen. We showed up right on time, only to be met with total confusion. The woman working had no idea we were coming and casually told me the stylist who was supposed to do the haircut "wasn't there" and asked if we could just come back another day. There was no one else in the salon, and I still don't understand why they couldn't offer to fit her in later the same day. The customer service was extremely disappointing. I honestly don't understand the great reviews, because both times I've been here, I've had nothing but frustration. Sadly, we won't be coming back. read more

You have to go see Vicky!!! She has color corrected my hair after a terrible color experience and she has tamed my daughter's wild, corse hair. We absolutely love her work and will never go anywhere else!! I cannot recommend this salon enough! The prices are very reasonable, the employees are incredibly friendly, and the overall environment is warm and welcoming. You feel relaxed the moment you walk in. ‍‍Karen has style where no one else can compare! I will not go anywhere else for a haircut. I'm forever loyal KT Elegant is my go to hair salon especially since the owner Karen is my hair stylist. Karen has been cutting my hair for the past 2 years. My head is very round at the top and Karen styles my hair to look sharp and gives my hair the wave that I look for. The wave looks so good that a surfer wants to ride it ‍ I used to live 8 minutes away. I moved to Aliso and my commute can take anywhere from 20-30 minutes and I go every 2 weeks. I've been going to Karen for years and it shows! When she announced she opened her own place, I was excited. This place is closer to my house so of course I'm happy, haha. It's clean and has everything you need. Plus - this new hair salon now takes credit card! Let me tell you how great of a joy that is for me, who doesn't really prefer to carry cash and has maybe $10 on her at all times lol. Karen is so familiar with what I want that I don't really have to tell her what I want. She just knows and remembers. You can't beat that. read more

This review is for Karen and Vicky Karen gave me a great cut in March (yes this review is overdue) of this year. 1 inch off and layers up to my chin to give a curtain bang look. She did it exactly the way I showed her in my photo inspo. She made it look so easy and it left me thinking "how come other people can't cut my hair like this?" Next I just got done with Vicky who gave me chocolate brown partial highlights as well as a cut 4 months after my haircut with Karen. The brown looks gorgeous. Not chunky at all. Same thing with the haircut. She cut off 1 inch from the length and gave me beautiful layers to frame my face These folks know what they are doing! Great haircuts at very decent prices. Called last minute to get a haircut and I have long thick hair. They got me in quick on a Saturday and Neo cut my hair to perfection! Went in for a walk in visit today and asked for a layered hair cut with a long curtain bang (but not too thick). Neo shampooed my hair and took his time cutting and blow drying my hair. It turned out better than expected and for $45 you can't beat it. I recommend :) read more

After getting my pedicure done my foot was hurting from having to be rested on that area for over an hour at an angle. I am contemplating coming here again just due to that, most chairs have a cushion where you lay your feet and although it a small detail it is uncomfortable for the client. it makes me so so sad to write this review because i was originally a ginormous fan of "the nail…read moreboutique," but after the service i received last week, i feel that i have to say something. last friday i had an appointment to get my prom nails done at 2:30 PM. when i arrived, i waited for over 45 minutes to receive my service. i was never offered water or anything (which honestly isn't a big deal but i just felt it was worth mentioning) but was also never really acknowledged. i almost felt like they forgot about my appointment. when my service finally began, i showed my nail tech my inspiration picture and she was confident and excited to recreate my vision. however, what i left the salon with is far from what i asked for. i left with a flower that is sloppy, none of the petals connect, and that has a big red circle with black lines, which is nothing like what i asked for. beyond that, i felt like my french tips were somewhat rushed and a bit sloppy. i don't expect perfection by any any any means, but i just generally felt neglected as a customer and a bit rushed once my service began. beyond this, by the time monday came, which was 3 days after my initial appointment, one of my nails had fallen off. this was a full acrylic set that i paid over 93 dollars for, and less than 5 days later, they were already falling off of my fingers. again, i feel really bad writing this because i dont want to tarnish their reputation or make them seem like a terrible buisness, but im just really unsatisfied and upset with the service i received, and really frustrated that i spent close to 100 dollars for a service that does not meet my expectations. i know that 100 might not be a lot, but im still a teenager in high school, and i work really hard at my job to make that money, so losing that much of my money is just hard. i just would advise that if you go here, you definetly keep your designs simple, and make sure to go at a time when you know they won't be busy so that your appointment is not rushed.

My skin isn't as soft and pliable. It's less wrinkly. My entire jawline, cheeks and neck skin have tightened up! There's not nearly as much loose skin! My 2nd appointment is coming up in a couple weeks and I can't wait to see those results. I was contemplating a lower neck lift and now I'm just doing this. After my 2nd Xerf treatment I'm going to do the salmon PDRN to build up my collagen and improve my skin texture. I've been so happy with my results at EB Medical Spa.
