She got me in, even though I was asking for a last min appt. My appt was w/ Parissa and I LOVE her! She is my new hairdresser from here on out! This review is for the lovely and talented Jelena! I've been wearing hair extentions since 2019 with reputable and highly reviewed professionals. However, Jelena is in an entirely different league of her own because my hair has never looked this good!!! To many people, trusting others with their hair is a tender vulnerability. Your hair can either be a point of insecurity or a huge confidence booster, so getting your hair done by a professional who is exceptional at what they do lends a great sense of security knowing that your lovely locks are in good hands (literally and figuratively)! Jelena takes the time to ask you what you want and then actually delivers it more perfectly than you even imagined! Today, she spent 4 hours meticulously removing my old extentions I got at a different salon in LA because of how badly they were done, and then installed new ones. She was detailed, patient, and did it the correct way, not cutting any corners. She's also hilarious and easy to talk to- basically the entire package!! Tiffany is awesome! Super down to earth and fun to talk to. I've gotten a haircut and coloring from her and both were great experiences. I never dye my hair so I was kinda nervous and had no idea what had to be done and she was very good at explaining the process and making me feel comfortable about it. Tiffany is super nice, very entertaining and made the whole process very enjoyable. I came in for a blonde balayage. Unfortunately, I did not leave with a balayage but, instead was given highlights. After we were done, she said if I was unsure about my hair I could message her to make changes. When I reached out asking to do the balayage as intended , she said this would be another full service. I had already paid the $370 for the cut, color, and tip, but she said in order to get what I wanted I would have to pay full price again. I'm unhappy with my hair and was hoping that after I reached out to her, we could fix it. I had no issue paying the first time and felt reassured by the fact that we could change what I didn't like. After communicating , we couldn't come to an agreement unless I paid full price for the service I was expecting in the first place. Overall the experience started off great and then went downhill after I asked for changes. I will not be visiting again. read more

The atmosphere at Salon Theory is very spa-like. The waiting area is modern and minimalist but very inviting, which is important when you are waiting for the hair color to take hold. There is a lot of attention to detail from the free Nespresso coffee, to the great-smelling products and the thoughtful design. Sharon is my stylist and she has been cutting and styling my hair for over 2 years. My hair is curly and she knows how to give my hair a beautiful shape. This review is a couple weeks late but still holds the same value regardless! I had an appointment with Jessica for a haircut, my first haircut in almost 3 years. Booking the appointment was very simple, and they were able to accommodate me and my sister the next day. I was obviously nervous to cut my hair, but Jessica was very confident and said that a she was ready for the challenge. She snip-snipped away and finished the haircut considerably faster than any other haircut that I've ever had! It was quite a feat to cut off 15 inches of thick hair, layer it, do a U-cut, AND blow dry and straighten it, but she did it ease in less than an hour. I made the mistake of booking with someone else because I wanted a last minute root touch up...won't happen again lol.
