I have been several times to the salon. I had good experiences and so not so good. I had the dip done before by Michael and it was excellent. I also had it done by another girl but not sure her name and it was really well done. Another time I had just gel nails and she cut them so short the tops of my fingers were showing and I did go in with long nails. She also cut the sides of my nails. Within two weeks my nails tore about half way down the nail. My nails were so soft because a dremmel was used to remove my "dip" nail finish. Today I had the dip done by a different girl and I am not pleased with it. She used the dremmel and they are not smooth. My nails have dips in them and they are not hard like they should be. I think they either needed another coat or they were not under the lamp long enough. I asked for them not to be filed on the sides as I like them very square but she kept filing them on the sides. Michael came over and said sorry they are not square but it is because they are short. Next time they can be more square. Being short has nothing to do with them being square or round. My pedicure and nails were $90. To sum it all up, it is a hit and miss on whether you will get a good manicure or a poor one. read more

So happy to have found this place after a year and a half search upon moving here! I personally think it is by far the most sanitary nail salon in Brandon/Riverview area, mind you, I tried many!!! Michael runs a very professional nail salon, I get my nails and a pedicure on a regular basis! I love the fact that each pedicure soaking tub is covered with a new plastic slip cover before each pedicure, ensuring everyone's personal safety. It is a high end salon with many perks, a friendly staff and offer many great services! The nail polish color selections are bountiful, so you will always find the color you like! I personally get the no chip nails and on my toe nails as well, it costs a bit more as does the whole salon menu compared to other places! However, you must remember you get what you pay for, and in this salon it is well worth it and so is my service, it lasts longer! With that being said and you are new in the area I highly recommend K's Luxury nails! read more

They took me last minute on a Saturday for a full set an hour before closing. I hated doing it but I just moved and broke a few nails. I came in a couple days ago to treat myself to a pedicure after a stressful day of work. I was immediately impressed with how beautiful and relaxing the atmosphere in the salon was, with calming music even playing in the background. The employees were very friendly and welcomed me with a smile. I had the deluxe pedicure which was SO incredibly amazing and Kim, the lady who did my pedi, was so kind and easy to talk to the entire time. Complimentary drinks are always a nice plus. This salon is very clean and will even make you your own tool box if you visit regularly. Everyone working there was so respectful and nice and made me feel valued as a customer. Not to mention how wonderfully soft my feet felt afterwards! I would highly recommend this salon and will definitely be back soon for a manicure! read more

The service provider that assisted me was very friendly and the wait time was a lot shorter than I normally wait but I was not given exactly what I asked for and what I did receive was not worth what I was charged. My new go-to salon for mani, pedi and eyebrows! They are under new management, so I decided to give them a try. I have been in 3 times, and so far every service has been perfect. The new owner is very concerned with hygiene - they assign you your own box of pedicure tools with your name & #, so you are NEVER using tools that have been on someone else's feet! The pedicure bowls have disposable liners, which I love, too. On my 2nd visit while getting my nails done, one of the other girls asked me if I wanted something from Starbucks!!! She brought me back a MUCH appreciated cup of hot tea! I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone in the Brandon/Riverview area!! read more

My wife and I came to Tampa for a vacation and she wanted to have a pedicure. I checked the reviews and found K's Luxury Nails was rated very well and made our appointments. My appointment didn't go well at all!! First she filled the bowl with scalding hot water and put my feet into it, needless to say she realized it was too hot and emptied half out to put cold water in the bowl. While the bowl was filling with cold water my tech put a white cream on my cuticles and it was running down my toes. As I'm sitting there I was very uncomfortable wondering if my feet where just tender from the scalding water? Then she started working on my feet and they became very uncomfortable and started burning and turning brown while my skin burned away. I tried to pull my feet away from her and she kept pulling them back and all the while she's pulling the skin off my toes! I tried to tell her what was happening but she didn't speak English. I finally got my feet away from her and told her that I'm done. I'm trying to get away from her. I stood up looking at the damage done to my feet and she's not happy with me. She started cussing at me in Vietnamese because she didn't finish my feet. I just kept saying I'm done! I walked up to the front in my bare feet and the manager comes over. My tech came up yelling at me again and the manager sent her away. Not once did she try to communicate to me that she was sorry but that she wasn't getting payed. The manager told me she used the wrong cream and that she doesn't speak English but I would be better the next day. It's now two days later and most of the swelling of my feet has gone down but I still can't wear shoes or sandals. I stopped by today to show the manager my feet and to make sure they understand what they did. He said that he's sorry and that I should get medical treatment and the owner might pay a portion. My tech came up and started cussing at me again and looked down at my feet and just walked away. Still no apology from her what so ever! I asked the manager for the owners number or to give him mine, he just looked at me and said what's been done is done nothing they can do! As a business owner myself I would want to know!!! read more

After searching high and low for a professional, clean and quiet atmosphere in a nail salon, I have found it in this establishment. I appreciate their attention to detail and thoroughness. Many salons do a rush job especially with pedicures and I am glad that they will give me a massage that lasts more than 3 minutes. This place has a tranquil and relaxed feel. I also appreciate the signs to remind other patrons to keep their talking to a minimum. I have often been aggravated when I walk into other salons for a quiet and relaxing time only to experience harsh lighting, loud and obnoxious customers and employees alike.
