I moved into the area a few months ago and after doing some research, decided to try Lucky out. Without much online presence (only 1 Yelp review), I gave them a call but they were closed for renovations. 2 weeks later, I tried again and they were open for business! When I called back, I was greeted with a professional and extremely friendly and smiling voice! I found out later, it belonged to Abby! She has a way with her clients that makes you feel comfortable and HEARD! She also goes through the process to make sure you're getting exactly what you want plus more! Something else that I'm loving about the salon- you're not crowded with other people around and on top of you like the typical salon. I've been twice and both times there was either 1 other person in the salon or no others. I enjoy your personal one on one time and not feeling that's the next person is sitting waiting for me to get up! I also love the wide variety of gel colors, color powder acrylic and the peacefulness of the environment. So glad I found this nail shop. It's quaint but the staff definitely takes care of you. Great work on the mani and pedis. I've visited twice so far and both experiences were consistent. I think I found my go-to nail shop. Prices are comparable to the other nail salons in the area. read more

I came there before & Ken was wonderful. (The first picture of the pretty yellow nails with the flowers). The only reason it's a 2 and not 1 star is because Ken was really good. But my second visit was awful, i was rushed in and out. It was not busy. Only one customer getting a pedicure & me (getting nails). I got a full set, colored acrylic with a design on two fingers in less than 30 minutes. My nails have drips of acrylic underneath them, none of them are the same length. And the shape is definitely uneven. I've had my nail done millions of times. I've honestly never complained because I understand not everything is perfect everytime, but this was pretty ridiculous. I went here couple times to get my nails and feet done. I always had Abby. Every time I went I was ok with my nails until I had this happen. One thing I learned just from my couple visit is Abby doesn't like to be corrected and has an attitude or just stop talking to u all together. Definitely think that is rude since I'm the customer and these are my nails, if I didn't like it I'm going to ask to have it fixed. The last time I went was my last time forever. I got a fill (not to mention I started with a full set by her) and no more then a couple days later I had to take them off. Never had this before and I have been doing my nails for a while. She gave me a fungus under two nails and now I have to wait until they heal before getting them done somewhere else. read more

I'm almost afraid to let the area know what an attentive and welcoming nail salon Luckys is, but this business deserves all the good reviews. I walked in and was asked to come back for a scheduled time slot. My hair appt ran late and I missed my scheduled nail appointment, but I called and they told me it wasn't a problem. I came in an hour before close for a full set and pedicure. Not once did I feel rushed or like an inconvenience. I left for vacation the next day feeling like a Queen and continue to come back. I always receive the best care and I won't go anywhere else. You shouldn't either. read more

I came in as a walk-in for a pedi/mani. Right away they told me to come back but with no given time so to make matters easier on them i just told them i'll just get a simple mani. They made me wait like 15 minutes. The guy who did my "simple" mani didn't do a good job. Simple as that. He barely took of my cuticles and when i told him the shape of the nail I specifically said the same as my nail bed which was round and he ended up doing them square. He also says "you don't want a pedicure." SMFH. I said to him i mean I requested a pedicure but you guys told me to come back. I wasn't gonna give them my money & time after telling me to wait AND seeing how my nails ended up. read more

The first time I went the guy did a phenomenal job. So I decide to go back today. They refused my service because my nail broke and I wanted them removed and a simple gloss. I walked in, they greeted me and asked what I would like done. I told them. Then the lady said we are too busy. They had one person waiting... ONE! so for them to deny me because its not a big pay for them is poor business. I did go elsewhere. Cost 15 bucks and I tipped 15 bucks. You never know who you are turning away just because you don't feel like you will make money. Never again will I send people there or go myself. Very disappointin. read more

The staff was extremely friendly and professional, especially since I was brand new to getting pedicures. The entire process was really calm and relaxing, especially since the staff was so friendly. Just no please do not go here for a pedicure not only did they cut me they acted as if it was my fault. I still paid I don't know what I was thinking, maybe I wasn't because I was bleeding and in pain then the guy sprays alcohol on my open still bleeding cut he made??? What??? I've had a mix of experiences here. Some are good some are awful. From my unenjoyable pedicure to the over pricing of a full set and poorly planning for appointments. I recently made an appointment and drove 20 mins just to get a pedicure I didn't need but was killing some time until appt then when I finished to start my on my nails (main reason for appointment) she wasn't even close to being done with current customer. When I said how much more time was needed she basically said she could not do my nails after making my appointment herself with me. Abby has good work but as a "professional" and overall business, some things aren't acceptable. Especially to a loyal, over tipping, continuous customer. read more
