I went in for the first time today. I made an appointment and Mari contacted me shortly after to talk about what I needed. I found that customer service amazing! Taking the time to consult with a new client before the appointment A++. Mari's private suite is perfect. Clean. Mari herself was so sweet and easy to talk to. With what I brought her to fix, I am surprised she didn't just send me on my way. I had ugly chunky globs of acrylic topped with endless amounts of dip powder. All encased in a gel top coat. It was horrific. It took her 45 minutes to just file off what bordered on a war crime that had been committed against my nails. Mari took her time and did the job the right way. Filed it all down enough to soak off in a reasonable amount of time. Mari took care in selecting new (correctly sized) tips. She expertly trimmed, shaped and applied my choice of dip powder. She kept putting polish over them. Then the owner started to do my nails and she drilled off the tips. One time she tried to talk me into just putting a fresh coat of polish over the previous without drilling the old one off. Last draw, I had a nail appt and I arrived on time. I did not need a pedicure and that was a problem for the owner because she had other people to do and she told me that I would have to wait because I told her that I was going to get a pedicure and that's how she scheduled. I said my appointment has always been set at the same time for a while and a pedicure is not needed. She probably over booked. I went to my old place to get nails done and they were horrorified at the layers of colors on my nails. The new salon said that it should have not been done this way.
