I had no problem coming here with the old owners. The new management made some questionable decisions. The new owner Ryan seems to never be there, twice I've gone and he isn't present. With the old owners they were always there either overseeing or working with customers. I'd give my nail appt here last week 0 stars if I could bc of the nail tech I had that day.... -I don't remember her name but for your identification purposes only- she's Cuban, barely speaks English, looks to be in her 50s. It was so hard for me to communicate with her. Thank god her coworker/friend was there to translate. - her technique isn't good. She didn't know what 'almond' shape is even after I showed her a picture. When she was applying polish she didn't cap the nail tip. Did 3 coats and it's all streaky, looks like some staining even. - took 1.5 hours just to do a gel manicure! I told her I was in a rush but she still took her sweet time. The coworker scheduled me with this tech when she was just sitting there on her phone. I wish she would have just took me on herself because she spoke English and was cool, was knowledgeable about colors, and shaped my nails in almond just like I wanted. I feel really bad writing such a bad review but that's how bad it was. To not know almond shape? Or a common color like OPI bubble bath? Maybe some training is needed. Come on Brandon Nails! Recommend? Be weary of which nail tech you go to. Ryan the owner is good. So is Riley who's been on since the old owners. Return? Not sure. Only if I can secure a visit with RYan or Riley. read more

First time I went I made an appointment for a pedicure and a set with builder gel. The pedicure was fine, I don't think you can mess that up. I asked for regular polish, but I had to go to another salon to get it removed and the tech told me it was definitely gel. I'm confused how that's possible as it was not cured. Then I moved onto my hands. I had booked builder gel, and the woman at the front told me that you can create a shape with builder gel the same way you would with acrylic. My tech told me it wouldn't work and that we would need to do a full set of acrylic. We had decided to soak it off once all my nails reached the same length, I didn't mind if that's what was needed. The tip and my natural nail separated quickly on three of my fingers. I got some lifting towards the base of the nail on the same three fingers as well. I liked the nails and the design - it was exactly the design I had showed my tech. When I went in for a fill, I had expressed concerns about the separation. My tech told me it was fine and just filled it in with clear acrylic. I wanted an ombré French design, which she did with acrylic. My nails were so thick when I left I could barely use my fingers for various daily activities. They looked good from afar, but if you looked closely they didn't fit the shape of my nail/finger and they weren't reshaped from the previous set. The nails that were filled in with the clear acrylic separated from the tip less than a week later, and I again got lifting at the base of the nail. The woman at the front seemed to be rushing my tech to move onto the next client, which I think may be part of the reason for the issues. I think my tech was very nice, I just don't think she is very good at her job. I didn't get the best vibe from the salon overall. Like I said, I don't think you can mess up a pedicure - but I think that is all this salon is good for unfortunately. For the price I paid, I think you can find better quality elsewhere. read more

I came in to find new owners. They first said Ben and Jackie were on vacation and then said they would not be back. Truth in the beginning would have been better. I went a head with a pedicure by Leo. He did them right away and was very friendly. They look fair. I had to wait to get my nails done while one of the nail techs painted a hair clip. . I waited about 15 minutes and then left. They ask if I wanted to reschedule, think I will look around a bit. read more

please do not waste your time going here. my daughter got her nails done Friday night for homecoming by Saturday all rhinestones have fallen off also the gold chrom is now black. Also the nail tech forgot to put top Coat on some of her nail so I had to rush to Walmart to buy top coat to put on my daughters nails before homecoming. I have had the signature pedicure twice at Brandon Nails. Because I have worked in the spa industry for years, I know what to look for. The pedicures here are excellent! High quality products, sanitary implements, clean & beautiful salon. My nail tech is Ivy, and she is very thorough cleaning up my cuticles and giving me a luxurious foot massage. The technician, who appeared to be new, lacked technique and demonstrated no knowledge of what she was doing at all, though she said she had her own home nail business for a while.
