I always buy the shuku pan to make sandwiches my daily lunches and the country bread/sourdough for my avocado toast and breakfasts. The sandwiches made in-house are also recommended especially the chicken katsu and the assorted ham/tuna/egg salad. I like the croquette and egg salad in a bun especially. All of these are savory and flavorful yet subtle. I also recommend any of the pastries including curry pan, melon pan, and of course the strawberry croissants but beyond that I also really like the strawberry banana croissant and blueberry croissant. There is also a selection of drinks made in-house café-style as well as bottled Japanese drinks. The staff are friendly and I really like the space even though it's small. You can find seating outside especially if you avoid rush hours. Of all the three locations, this one is my favorite because it's so rustic and historic and really fits in with the overall vibe and aesthetic of Old Town Tustin and the El Camino Real. Please check this bakery out; it's one of the best in all of SoCal in my opinion.

I cannot speak for everyone, but they have always thrown in a few extra donut holes in my order. Yes, they are a small place, but they make the best they can with the space. So why the missing star? I am holding off until I finally get to try their blueberry donut. I heard it is really good and is usually sold out by the time I get there, so that is next to try on my list.

I love coming here, it's a family shop and the ladies in the morning are seriously nice. A different type of nice, she even recognized me from a month ago and I only came in like twice!! I bought a dozen donuts, a ham and cheese, a couple of drinks and the employee in the morning was awesome. There was a long line and people ordered complicated sandwiches and she was handling all of our orders very well. A customer even went up to her because the croissant wasn't the right one, and she was nice to simply throw out the one they ate into and give them a new one. They take credit cards here too, they do charge 75 cents extra but its alright cause it's worth buying the dozen donuts, it's cheaper through a small shop like this. This place is a joke. I bought three donuts from this place in the morning, and all three of them had specs of fungi. I noticed it while I was halfway done with the first one. I could not believe what I saw and tossed all of them away. I called the owner to let her know about the condition of the donuts she is selling. She said they are fresh and it's not possible. Then she kept on saying, "bring me the donuts so I can see." I told her very nicely that I just wanted to let her know of what happened, but she kept on saying bring her the donuts as if I was lying to her. They accept credit cards for an additional 75 cents for your transaction. I would recommend the ham and cheese croissants, regular and jalapeño. They have great cheap drip coffee, a variety of cold drinks and are across the crunch fitness gym. Donut holes are 5 for $1 and they open pretty late. They close at 8pm on weekdays and 430 on a Sunday. A dozen of donuts is about $15 but doesn't include the bigger goods like Apple fritters. Apple fritters are huge here, would recommend!
