Couldn't be happier that we found this auto shop. Hovik and Harout are honest, hard working, and experts at their trade. I know that I can trust what they say and that their prices are fair. As a woman, I've gotten taken advantage of at other auto shops but I never have to worry about that here. My car will be taken care of quickly and well. Thank you!! read more

KS Complete Auto - My husband after his car was fixed - Auto Repair Near Me - Glendale, California

Our family has been getting our cars repaired at KS Complete Auto for fifteen years. Hovic and Harout and taken care of two Volvos,a 950 and an XC 70 and two Toyotas, a Rav 4 and a Corolla. We keep coming back because Hovic and Harout, the co-owners, always do great work at a fair price and we really trust their diagnosis and repairs. One day years ago I brought in my aging Volvo 950 and Hovic told me "Matthew I don't want to repair your car anymore. You are wasting your money, you need a new car." That sealed the deal. I strongly recommend KS Complete Auto - a high quality neighborhood alternative to the impersonal and expensive dealer repairs. read more

I have to say Harout and Hovik are the best shop owners I met, honest, friendly, strive to help and always with the best price. This is one garage I could recommend and where I have my Porsche Cayenne S serviced, with 100% satisfaction. All their help understand European Cars and are eager to repair in short period of time, or even help with a loaner for bigger tasks. Thank you Hovik. read more

I really would like to write a much longer review, but no time. My car a 33 year old corvette just died on the freeway, I had it towed here because it was close to work. It was a complicated electrical problem and they figured it out. These guys are experienced professionals and I would bring my car back to them n a heartbeat. I have plenty of experience with my car and the difficulties working on it K.S. has earned my trust and respect. read more

I brought in my Audi for a pre-purchase inspection. It was obvious the mechanics took their time to assure the car's quality -- the engine, to air filters, tires, brakes, windshield wipers, alignment, etc. I was walked through the report, driven in the car with an mechanic to highlight some potential issues and advised on the overall quality of the car. Since then I have returned to KS Auto for service and tires. I appreciate the service and transparency they provide. read more

If you decide to buy a high maintenance vehicle expect high cost repairs at the dealership. On the other hand, if your lucky enough to find a great honest shop that can do it all for a fraction of the dealerships price , consider your self blessed . The team at KS is amazing and with year and years of expertise! Unlike a dealership that might have just hired the person that is going to work on your vehicle a few years go , the KS team have been working their garage since the mid 90s Reliable work, great prices , enough said read more

Found them through Yelp and was happy with the service until I found out that the cargo cover in my Range Rover Sport was not the original one that was in my car when I left it there. When I picked up my car my cargo cover was laying in my trunk. I immediately called them to let them know that I was not happy with my cargo cover laying in my trunk and that I could not get it to fit back in the slot. One of the owner was very nice and told me to bring my car back, it was not convenient for me to go back at that time. When i finally had a chance to take my car back they denied that they had done anything with my cargo cover and was not responsible for replacing it, one of the owner even told me that I was crazy and that I did not know what I was talking about. I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Highly recommend for Land Rover owners (or any brand, really). I have been a few times over the last year and each experience has been 5 star service. The owners always talk through each issue with me at my pace, give their feedback as needed and allow me time to make my own decision. I always get a call with a price estimate (listed out by price for parts and price for labor) and the opportunity to turn down any of their recommendations, no judgement. They have always been timely with their work and give me an accurate time estimate before I drop the car off. Whenever I come to pick up, they walk me through everything that has been done and give me time to ask all other questions I have (whether or not it relates to what they worked on). I leave feeling confident in knowledge of my vehicle and in their work. read more

Hovik and everyone at KS Complete Auto are so nice and such a relief to work with when your car is not working. You've already got stress, so it's important to have an expert mechanic resolving the issue with compassion about your situation. I found KS Complete Auto when a completely different mechanic I had gone to seemed fishy and was kind of rude. Desperate to find a new mechanic, I googled and found KS, and from the first phone call, they were so friendly. Their cost estimates are extremely reasonable. (I drive a luxury car that can be expensive to repair or do regular service on.) You don't get the feeling they perform work that's not needed. Recently, I had a problem that I thought I had to take to the dealer. I was so bummed because I trust Hovik and KS with my car. As it turned out, I didn't need to go to the dealer, and I was so relieved. Sure enough, Hovik resolved the issue and went above and beyond for a very reasonable price. The waiting area is comfy, with phone chargers and courtesy water. Everyone is friendly. Overall, it's a low-stress environment. Sometimes mechanics are hectic and rush you and don't take time to talk to you. KS is not like that. It's very friendly, with time to talk about what's going on with your car. They tell you directly that they appreciate your business. They say they want you to leave happy because they know you won't come back if you don't. Bonus: There are places to eat nearby if you want to walk around the neighborhood and get something to eat. 5 stars. read more

After a lot of yelp searching, I stumbled across KS. I was looking for a Bentley after service place since dealers are just plain expensive. Without a doubt, they are more reasonable than the Bentley dealers, and they are super nice. Hovik and his partner are super nice, and they won't upsell and charge you if you don't need unnecessary services. read more

I was so impressed by Hovik. Not only he's a highly competent mechanic, he also has your best interest in mind. He test drove my car, assured me that I didn't have the problem I thought I had, but told me I needed new brake pads. I'll admit, I thought of the possibility that he was just trying to sell as so many mechanics do. I mentioned that to him, and he assured me his shop wasn't one of those. The job was completed in under an hour, and my car feels normal again! I needed those brake pads after all! read more

Still the same great honest service at a fraction of dealership price. They really don't try to up sell which is what I like and only recommend what is needed. This is the second 911 I have had serviced here and I couldn't be more pleased with her work. I had emailed Harout for a quote for a standard 40K services to which he responded with prices (hard to find these days... mostly places will will tell you to bring the car in). When I set up a Saturday appointment and dropped my 911 off in the morning and it was ready by noon. I wouldn't go anywhere by KS Complete Auto for my Porsche 911 service. read more

Hovik and his team were a total pleasure to work with throughout the replacement of the front differential in my 2007 LR3. I knew when buying an old Land Rover that a relationship with a mechanic was hugely important and I feel I've found a home for my vehicle here. Thanks, Hovik. read more

Love these guys! Very honest and fair pricing. I wanted to go somewhere reliable for service on my Rover, and these guys are awesome. Very friendly, and didn't overcharge, had my oil changed and a tire fixed very quickly. Will definitely be returning when I need work on my car! read more

This is the MOST amazing place. These guys are beyond honest and never try to take advantage of people, which is rare in this industry. I took my car there because I had a break issue. They could have easily changed my brakes and charged me a large amount. Instead, they said that the wearing of the brakes is due to a malfunction in the car and a warranty issue with the car maker. They not only told me to go to the dealership to get it fixed, they wrote out exactly what the issue was, told me how to make sure they don't screw me AND called the dealership to tell them the issue and that they are sending me over. UNBELIEVABLE! They went above and beyond the call of duty and I hope EVERYONE goes to them so their business goes through the roof! They deserve it! read more

Amazing!! I can't explain how Thankful I am for these guys! I first of all am a female so going into a car shop is nerve wrecking. But these guys took great care of my Maserati and me. They checked my whole car and cleaned out the air filter system for FREE! They then told me to take it to Maserati Dealership to further get help because their machine was down for a short minute and didn't want to waste my time! I'm grateful for that! I went into KS complete auto after getting my oil changed and being told there was a leak somewhere in my transmission. After being told by the gentleman who changed my oil that it was probably not that bad of a leak, I put it off for a couple of days and finally decided I needed to take it in before I move states. Harout took a look at my car, brought me over, and showed me exactly what was wrong with it and told me how much it'd be. Unlike most mechanics, he was honest and told me that he was 85% sure my car would be fine for the move! I still cannot believe how honest and transparent he was. Rather than charge me thousands of dollars (that's how much it'd be), he suggested that I wait. As a young girl, I don't know much about cars. Harout took the time to show me all the signs / sensors on my dash and explained in detail what each what meant. I am so thankful for his honesty and have much more peace about the move now that he gave me all this knowledge. I've lived in LA for well over half a decade and am so sad that I'm just finding out about this wonderful company when I'm moving. Take it from me, go to this place and you will not be disappointed! Honest, so kind, and helpful! Thank you, Harout! You're a gem. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about this repair shop. We purchased a used Land Rover as a second car and needed to have some body work done along with an oil change. My husband found the shop searching for mechanics that specialize in dealing with Land Rovers. Our first experience with them was easy and successful. They are affordable, friendly, and communicate effectively what needs to be done and why. My second experience with them also did not disappoint. Our car would not start, so I called explaining the situation and one of the owners made a house call to check out the situation. This saved us a tow to the dealer and all the extra costs and higher prices that find their way onto your bill after a visit to one. The fix was simple and very affordable. If you are looking for a mechanic who honest, thorough, and affordable, KS is the place. read more

I took in a car today to have KS Complete do a pre- purchase inspection, and i am very happy to have found this place. Thanks yelp! It took less than an hour, the price was very reasonable, they were able to see me as soon as i called, and best of all, were very nice! Not "nice" in the way that mechanics can be, like when i feel like i am being sweetened up to be swindled, but "Nice" in a genuine way: Knowledgeable, personable, patient and actually wanting to explain. Honestly, this is the first and ONLY place i have taken my car to in the 10 years i've lived in LA where i left the place actually feeling good about my transaction with a mechanic. Before KS, I had never NOT regretted saying "take your time" to a LA mechanic. In my home state, i depended on my engine-loving dad to tell me the truth about a car or a mechanic, but whom do you go to when your dad is not around?? I have tried tens of auto repair places from Pasadena to Hollywood to Manhattan Beach and everywhere in between, all on the recommendation of friends, and, well, my friends didn't know crap! I wish I had known about this place 2 cars ago- I would have saved a lot of money and stress. read more

This is an updated review based on service I received in Jan 2016. I brought my car in to fix the side view mirrors since I noticed they weren't adjusting at all. After getting it examined we also noticed the drivers side seat controls inoperable. Initially we thought it just needed a new control module underneath the drivers side seat but upon further examination we uncovered an electrical short due to water damage. You can imagine my concern and fear that this was going to get very expensive to repair. Hovik, the owner of the shop informed me water damage was not my fault and suggested I use insurance since that is what I pay for. What a sigh of relief since ultimately much of the floor board, sunroof panel, and side trim needed to be replaced along with some plugged hoses and outside of my deductible my insurance paid for it. Along the process Hovik kept me informed and reassured me that my vehicle would be fixed properly and correctly. And he was right! Although it took a month due to replacements parts and working out figures with my insurance company I am relieved and happy to have my vehicle back and operational. Hovik is a honorable business man with integrity who really cares about his customers and communicates very effectively and openly. Lastly, I had a key fob that was falling apart and he was kind enough to replace it at no cost. I would highly recommend this shop to any of my friends. Very good honest repair shop. I really like the owner Hovik. He seems very genuine, direct and honest about work and prices for their services. Additionally, I like that they work on nice higher end cars so it makes an owner feel more comfortable that they know what they are doing. read more

I've never bothered to review an auto shop, but this place is so great I feel like I have to! Last year I bought a used Mini when an old car broke down on a road trip and I had to replace it on the spot. I didn't have time to do any research on the car I was buying, and after driving it for a few months a bunch of vague problems started cropping up with it. Other mechanics (who didn't specialize in European cars) were unable to identify the source and simply gave me back the car saying they couldn't figure it out. These guys completely pulled the car apart and successfully identified a handful of issues, which, again, the other mechanic didn't catch. They worked quickly, and after addressing the issues the car runs amazingly well! It used to sputter and misfire out of nowhere, but since they worked in it the problem is completely gone - it runs like new! I've driven it for over 2,000 miles since then (even on a long road trip) and it's still running just as well as when they gave it back to me. I've never noticed such a dramatic and clear-cut improvement in auto performance after repairs before. Usually a mechanic will tell me they've "fixed" something and I honestly can't tell the difference. These guys clearly fixed the issue, and the difference is like night and day. I also appreciated that the guy I dealt with really takes pride in the job, explaining that he feels like a doctor who has to "listen to the symptoms" to identify problems. That may sound silly, but I think it's an accurate comparison, and that kind of genuine passion makes a difference in the quality of service. Again, can't recommend them highly enough, especially if you have a European car! read more

NO HASSLE HONEST SHOP THAT OPERATES ON A CODE OF HONOR THAT YOU JUST DONT SEE ANYMORE!!!! HOV AND THE BOYS REALLY KNOW CARS AND CUT A LOT OF THE STRESS OUT OF FIXING YOUR VEHICLE! BEST SHOP IN GLENDALE! Called them and explained that my check engine light had been on for a year and recently my 02 BMW started idling really bad and cutting off at stops. Met with Hov and he told me to bring the car in for diagnostics for 100$. Took 30mins and he came back with a long list of errors that the car was flagging. Gave me a estimate of what it would take to clear all the codes, the estimate was expensive for my wallet but very fair for the parts and labor it would require. I told him i would like to have all errors cleared but for the time being, I wanted to get my car to the point that it could pass inspection. Without hesitation or hassle, Hov reevaluated the list and come back with a estimate of what he thought it would cost to meet my request. The estimate was 1/4 of the original list and also 1/4 of the original cost. I really appreciated the fact that he was honest and did not place any of the non-essential repairs on the revised list so my car could pass inspection. He also stated that he thought a portion of the errors could be cleared by doing a simply BMW software update. He replaced my intake hose, took care of some other things and put the software update on the system, it only took them 1.5hours to do so, but he offered me a loaner in case i needed to run errands in the meantime. It's been 5 months since he made the repair and my car has had no idling issues since. He also refunded my 100$ diagnostics fee because they did the repairs on the car. Best BMW repair experience I've ever had and I would not go anywhere to have my 02 530i Bimmer worked on! Keep up the Solid work fellas! -One Happy Bimmer Owner read more

Our Land Rover was leaking transmission fluid while on vacation in Palm Springs. We took it to a mechanic who gave us a diagnosis that didn't sound right. (It turned out that he didn't even look at the vehicle). We drove to KS Complete Auto to have it looked at and we were so happy that we did. We were given not only top notch service but also the facts of what was going on with our vehicle. Hovic spent the time to clearly explain the issue and get us on the road quickly. First question I want to know when I look for a mechanic: Am I going to get ripped off? At most mechanic shops (at least the ones I have been to) the answer has always been varying degrees of yes. Here, it is exactly the opposite. This is seriously the most honest place I have been to. Case in point: I was having transmission problems. I took my car in to Hovik. He drive it around and said what I didn't want to hear. It was the transmission. Which, of course, it a couple thousand to fix. But then, he did something that made me a customer for life. He want to check if there were any recalls on my car. And found one which effected the transmission. He told me to go to the dealer, where they would fix it for free. And they did. He went out of his way, and cost himself money, to save me from a costly repair. That is the sort of people you are dealing with here. Needless to say, he made a customer for life. Their work is great (years later my Rabbit now how 120k and is still running like a dream). The price is truly terrific. And when they tell you that you need something fixed, you don't have to be scared that you are getting ripped off. If you are looking for the last mechanic shop you will ever need. Congrats. You just found it. read more
