So I read the reviews on here and should have known better to come here but since I've never tried Krystal before I thought I'd give it a shot. The time is 9:00pm and all of the outdoor lights are off, including the drive up menu which was difficult to read. We ordered the number 1 (four cheese burgers) with tater tots and two additional cheese burgers. At the window we added two fried apple pies, and asked for ketchup, mustard, and salt. First thing I noticed the burgers were very poorly assembled, the bun was dry and crumbly, the burgers were very cold. They only put ketchup in the bag, no mustard which is what I wanted most, no salt. There was only five burgers in the bag, we ordered and paid for six. The tots were cold, some overly fried and some hardly cooked. The pies were hot and tasty, the only good thing in the bag. If you read reviews like I do, believe them, go to McDonalds next door. I can't say what the day time is like but I can tell you at night it is terrible. The staff was sitting at a table when I pulled up to the drive thru and had to wait for them to get up at make to their station. Then I ordered four cheese Krystal large fire and large coke. I could not understand what the lady was saying. I pulled up to pay and the lady never open the window and it appeared she did not know how to ring the order up. I got tired of waiting so I just left. The owner and manager really need to fix the night shift because they are rude, slow, and don't care if you get your food or not. I've been craving these delicious little burgers since I've been gone for the past 2 years. Went straight from the Airport and ordered a 24 Sack. I was ready to bite into that amazing soggy delicious little burger when I was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! They had the nastiest dry Buns and nothing like they were "back in my day". Fast forward 2 days later. Let's say they had an off night, new cook, whatever. I go back and order a 12 sack with extra mustard (just incase they're dry again). They were perfect! The food was good. My first time trying them. Service was ok. They got our order wrong and we ended up with two chicken burgers (I guess that's what they were) instead of regular cheese burgers. Staff seemed friendly. This was a drive thru order and we didn't notice the discrepancy until we got back to our room, so we didn't get it fixed. Okay wow. so. This Krystal used to be good, it was a great place to stop by and have some borderline addictive little slider burgers. But in my last two visits it's just been awful. I hadn't visited for a couple years because I'm not in West Memphis often, but I wasn't expecting the terrible service my family got. My chief complaint is that they butchered our order after we repeated it several times in an effort to be clear on what we wanted. The burgers were hot which was good, but nearly every burger had something missing or something extra we didn't ask for. It seemed like they just grabbed whatever was on the griddle and threw it into a bag... We didn't even bother to go in to correct the order, this is the second time we've had a bad mix up like this happen at this location. read more

Absolutely horrible service. I ordered my family a 12 sackful combo with two fries, a coke, oreo shake and two donut hole packs. We received only six Krystals. When my sister, who was picking up the order, tried to explain the mistake she was shut down promptly by a manager and dismissed, stating that "that was what the receipt shows". We were charged for 6 Krystals, a sackful combo(??), and two drinks and fries which -should- have been part of that combo price. The only thing we were charged correctly for were the two donut holes. Gosh, I LOVE Krystal's..I've been coming here for 20 years. It's a staple when I come home. As we are leaving town, headed back to Fayetteville, I had to have my boyfriend experience what a Krystal's burger is. We parked so he could look at the menu... walked in and it was filthy; the floors were awful. We tried to order and were told there were no fountain drinks, tater tots, only able to provide "exact change only". I thought, 'gracious we must have come on the wrong day!'. I head to the restroom and there are no lights; I have to have my boyfriend stand by the door so I can see what I'm doing but still be protected. We ordered 12 Krystal's with extra pickles...it took over 35 minutes to receive our order, yet there were 5 people working. I've never written a review, but this was ridiculous and something needs to change. read more

I had been curious about Krystal, having heard that it was the southern equivalent of another well known burger outlet. Crystal serves small, square burgers as well as chicken sandwiches. They have a simple menu with fewer items. Thwir burgers are tangy. They serve tater tots as well as fries. This particular outlet had a few problems. We waited 30 minutes in the drive through before we got to the pickup window. Zero personality zero-zero-zero. We got our order and drove away and back on the interstate, then I looked and I was shorted 2 orders of fries and there was no ice in the tea. I cannot believe a chain restaurant would allow this crap to continue. I called the listed number to speak with the manager and it goes straight a voicemail. Total disappointment. Krystal is the southern version of White Castles. They are good, however, if you are a true Craver of the White Castles this may not completely satisfy your hankering!!! We stopped at the West Memphis location which was very old and in desperate need of a remodel. Service was great with a friendly engaging staff. The food was good but I do prefer the way White Castle steams the buns. read more

What a dumpster fire, waited in drive through for 30 min without moving then I tried to go into the dining room to order and was told it was closed. The car in there were two cars ahead of us and they are still there. Not worth it just go to theMcDonald's next to them so much faster and efficient I drove away with my food and the same car is waiting at the window at Krystal's I would estimate 45 min to an hour. Just made a stop at Krystal drive-thru in West Memphis with my family. It seemed like forever to place an order with no one In front of us. Once our order was placed the attendee at the window was not friendly or responsive at all as if she didn't t know how to properly greet or communicate. I think Krystal corporate or if they have a parent company needs to take a look at what they are allowing to operate in West Memphis. In the past when I experienced even the established fast food businesses that was run like this, they seldom stay in business much longer. read more

Once I got to Arkansas I had to stop here. These lil burgers are only lil bites of heaven. And they make them just how you request them. They simply don't have burger joints like this anymore. This is the best place on earth to get you a snack or a meal. I love this place it is just better than white castle any day of the week, month or year. And they have breakfast also. So slow! 6 o'clock on a Friday night, 3 customers in the place and it took an eternity to make a few tiny tiny burgers. I know, this isn't the Ritz, however it is a Krystal. They only make a few items with some practice they should make them well, or at least lousy and fast.. Service issues aside I really enjoy a steamy Krystal from time to time. Others complained about the slowness of getting orders we didn't experience this and we has a party of 5 on a Saturday night. It took all of 7 1/2 minutes. Order was correct hot and fresh. I knew what to expect having eaten at other similar burger joints that make the mini/ sliders and had an idea and my expectations were met. The chili cheese fries were satisfying. I only wished they would have used the same cheddar cheese on my burgers instead of the processed American slices. That was my only problem with the burgers was the type of cheese used. Travan, our cashier was very helpful helping my wife and kids decide what to order. He was pleasantly polite. Only suggestion for him was that when my wife asked if the donut shop across the street was open he said , "nope, they're closed." I found them on help and called them and there open until 11PM!! Restrooms were clean, men & women's. Restaurant was somewhat clean. The condiments needed to be stocked as well as the napkins and straws. Floor in dining area was a "little" greasy. But this is a fast food joint. My wife didn't like the burgers but then again she thought it was going to be a regular style burger, which they do have on their menu. First time here. I thought it would be similar to White Castle. It is similar in that it's got itty burgers or "sliders". But the burgers cannot even compare. I LIKE White Castle burgers. It taste like a decent fast food burger, only mini. Krystal burgers were disgusting mush! The meat just squashed when I bit into it. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers and only ate one. They did give me fresh hot fries since the cold ones issued first were even colder. It's a tough place to get in & out of from the interstate also. Went here at 10:30 on a Saturday night. Only one employee inside, while the manager and another employee stood outside talking. After about 15 minutes they finally went back inside. With no other cars in front of us, we waited 20 minutes for our order before finally deciding to go to the window to get our money back. As soon as we walked up to the window, we were given our food which was cold. We ended up giving the food back and asking for a refund. The girl who was left in there by herself looked very flustered and overwhelmed. Whoever the manager was at 10:30 on 7/20 doesn't deserve to be a manager. read more
