Yes, it's named after Krusty from the Simpson. Never did I think I'd come to a place like this, then return again. Let's face it, theme park food is less than desirable, but when we're in the park and hungry, what do we do? Pick the place with a shorter line and menu options. But Krusty turned out to be a decent choice. Here, you'll line up as you do with all the rides. Menu are posted in a few places for you to decide. Once you snake around the line, an available cashier will call you over. Place your order and wait by the counter for your name to be called. While waiting, grab your condiment, utensils and napkins. We tried their Clogger burger and the Sideshow hotdog. (See my menu photo for what they are) The burger was surprisingly tasty, pretty big and filling. The hotdog was heavy with plenty of chili, and of course messy. For what it is, the dog wasn't bad either. The fries however, were meh. There are seats downstairs but the main attraction is upstairs. There's a much larger seating area and the decor is fun to look at. The larger dining room has Simpson artwork throughout. How long you'll wait will vary. On a decent day, from line to food on the table is about 20-30 minutes. Once we walked by near a holiday and the line looked more than 2X longer then previous visits. I estimate that to be over an hour wait, if you're lucky enough to even snag a table. Pro-tip, have designated person line up to order while the others grab a table. It beats walking around with trays of food looking for a seat. The 4 is for the artwork, as I enjoy looking around while stuffing my face. The Caesar salad and chili dog weren't bad, but nothing special about them, just ordinary. The fries have gone downhill. They used to be beer-battered/ seasoned, but now they're plain fries that are not crispy and taste like they've been sitting out for awhile. The service was friendly. read more

When eating at any theme park always expect high prices. I would recommend coming to Krusty Burger only if you're a fan. They have a cute souvenir Donut shaped bottle that was a must have. My family and I came to have a nice time at Universal Studios Hollywood! We started getting hungry so we opted to go to Krusty Burgers!! Since we love The Simpson's!! I think it's more the hype about the burgers being The Simpson's themed. The burger and fries were lukewarm to cold. It seemed like our burgers & fries were sitting somewhere under the a/c getting cold while we waited for our name to be called for our order! Will we go back? Nope! I just wanted to also comment on the Mother Nature Burger which I got. The veggie patty was charred on one side and again it was also a lukewarm burger with cold fries! By the way their Caesar salad didn't look appetizing at all. I saw a customer get her salad which was doused with Caesar salad dressing and croutons. I could barely see the green lettuce under all that dressing & croutons. As I went upstairs to look for my table I saw several customers with salads and they all looked the same unappetizing. Service: Staff were in a hurry and rushed since there was a long line and they seemed stressed and frustrated. I asked one of the workers that was refilling the napkin dispenser if I can please take a few napkins from the pile of napkins she had on the table and she begins to pull napkins from the napkin dispenser! Mind you I had a tray full of burgers and fries for 5 people and she only gives me a few napkins and tells me there's more upstairs as she clumps the napkins as she pushes them in my hand! Jeez! And yes I was holding the tray with both hands! Ambiance: I thought that the Simpson's themed burger joint is cute but that's about it. Conclusion: If you're a Simpson's fan, you should try it, maybe you'll be the fortunate one to get your burgers & fries hot! As for me and my family we won't be coming back, it's a one time deal for us. Eggfree options are available! The burgers were surprisingly good and French fries were crisp and fresh. The hot dog bun has eggs, but that is not listed on the allergen menu for some reason. Thankfully the service staff informed me that they swapped the hot dog bun for a whole wheat hamburger bun because they saw the allergy alert on my order. There is a Coca-Cola Freestyle Machine in this restaurant so you can get refills on the souvenir cups. Best place ever and a big wait and my son always said this is the best place ever for a burger

While we were at Universal Studios, we decided to grab a quick lunch to eat before exploring the park more. We went here on a Monday around 2:45pm and there was about a 10 minute wait in line! We ordered the Krusty Burger and also the Sideshow Bob Footlong. Both of our orders came with a side of fries, so that was cool. When I tried my Sideshow Bob Footlong hotdog, the first few bites of it was good at first, but then eventually started tasting too salty for me. I think the chili that is on that hotdog probably made it too salty, so I didn't finish that hotdog. Then I tried the Krusty Burger and it was good because it just tasted like a fresh and simple burger, so there was nothing special about it. The fries also tasted good and I liked the thickness of it. I'd recommend this place only if you are in the area and just want a simple meal. The food we got was filling and tasted like some good average burgers and hotdogs. The food here is overpriced, but that is expected since it is inside a theme park so I was ok with that. read more

Another trip to LA and this time I spend a day at Universal Studio's. Krusty land was so cool and it was a must to have a good at Krusty Burger. I had the clogger burger which was the krusty burger with a double pattie and bacon, was good no complaints. The Sideshow Bob Footlong was my favorite it was loaded with chili cheese and it was a very satisfying. The prices where moderate the service was fast and the ambiance was very welcoming. The food isn't great, but the place is fantastic! They have some Simpsons clips on while they herd you through like cattle, so that's a plus. There's a couple of floors so you have plenty of seating. It's also connected to Moes, so make sure you stop in there too. read more

Be prepared for the super long wait - they're short staffed or something because it was mountains of food waiting to be served and only two people actually handing out food. When I first got in line they had 4 cashiers taking orders, then when I got to the front after 25 mins, we had 1 cashier taking orders. The clogger burger is standard theme park fare and does the job and filling your tummy on a long day in the park. I personally prefer cletus chicken shack next door but they're both the same theming and quality. If you love the Simpsons then you'll love the ambiance. Arguably one of the worst things I've had at USH. This is what I remember bad theme park food to be like. Their signature Krusty Burger was like the last burger no one wanted at the end of lunch in a school cafeteria. Dry, luke warm, with tomato and lettuce that looked sadder than days old packaged salad. I appreciated that they tried to toast the bottom of the potato bun but it was stale and dry. The ingredients of the burger didn't amalgamate and instead awkwardly sat on top of each other like strangers. Thank goodness for the secret sauce that gives it a bit of moisture. I was hoping the pork ribs from the pork rib sandwich were the same ones served at Three Broomsticks (Harry Pottery restaurant) but much to my disappointment, it was not. The flavor was there but meat was sparse and too well done. Very dry but saved by the coleslaw. Fries were the worst. Luke warm and soggy. Overall, food sucked but an abundance of seating in Simpsons themed rooms. There are better food options than Krusty Burger at this price point. USH has done a great job revamping their eateries, but they somehow they forgot Krusty Burger. read more

Theme park food... where do I begin?! Pricey for what it is, but definitely expected. The restaurant and the whole area really make you feel like you walked into The Simpson's world and you're actually in Springfield! Kudos on bringing that to life. Ordered the #1-Krusty Burger and #4-Sideshow Bob footlong and was called to the food pickup counter less than 1 minute after ordering - wow! Which means.. food wasn't made to order and isn't the freshest. It looked amazing but it was not hot whatsoever. Also the hotdog bun was slightly stale that it split apart and the hotdog just fell right through. Not an enjoyable meal because it was just a mess. Burger was okay. It's theme-park food, so you have to temper your expectations a little bit. I ordered a Ribwich, and my girlfriend had one of their standard Krusty Burgers. The burger was pretty plain jane; their signature sauce is some kind of thousand-island spinoff. I thought the ribwich was pretty decent honestly; the coleslaw paired nicely with the BBQ meat. The fries were okay; they had some texture and crisp to them, but not a whole lot. Definitely need some extra seasoning or sauce to go with them, as they were not flavorful at all on their own. There can be quite a line for this place, so I'd recommend going on either off-hours or being prepared to wait. They do show various Simpsons clips that are food-related, so it's not the hardest to pass the time. Krusty Burger is just like the beloved Simpsons character we all love to hate. It's cool on the outside but a mess internally. The food is actually really good. It's an amusement park eatery so expect ridiculous prices. I found that the line moves actually pretty quickly, but the waiting for food area is a mess! There's also an inconsistency of whether they'll call your order by name or number. A crowd gathers and hopes theirs gets called in order. In my case, that didn't happen. I saw few orders after mine get their food before me. That's okay though. I was just unpleased to see that people hang at the bar and bug the worker for their food.... basically they bug them, and in order to shut these people up, the worker takes a food item from another customers order and gives it to them to get rid of them... Smart, cuz that's what I would do... Actually I wouldn't, I'd tell them to wait their damn turn like everyone else, but I get it. The ordering and infrastructure of the place is not the best. There are 2 counters facing each other with 2 registers on each counter. This would be fine, but these 2 counters are spaced very close to each other leaving everyone ordering I'm a small confined box. This ordering space is even further limited by the fact that the pickup for the food is right next to the ordering counters, which leaves everyone to crowd around the pick-up area making the process difficult. One of our ribwiches had a negligible amount of barbeque sauce, and the fries were lukewarm, unsalted, and sad. When received by one of our recipients, The Clogger was warmed to an unsatisfactory degree and the meal was not pleasant. They do provide water cups it you ask though! Unfortunately they only have paper straws that do not create enough suction to drink their milkshake. My footlong was also only 10 inches. read more
