Kroger's is implementing dynamic pricing. I have caught them where even today they had a posted sign of ground beef on sale for 599 a pound. When I got to the register they tried to charge me $25. Had to speak to Customer service and explain to them that they are ripping off customers when they have a sign saying that it should be $18 and they're charging 25. Found this also to be true with several other things on my receipt with them where they listed one price and charged in another. Will be taking my receipts and presenting these to other people for proof. Thank you, Kroger, you've made a lifetime Customer out of me to go somewhere else. Kroger What more can I say? It's rare I even venture into grocery stores these days! But two checkers on a Saturday. Then as usual I am at the self checkout it saves the bad customer service experience of lack of skill on sacking and even offering carry out. But I actually had the guy at self serv checkout tell me when a item rung up incorrectly that I scanned that I didn't scan the correct barcode! I told him I guess that's what happens with free help that Kroger doesn't train or pay or offer discounts to for us doing their jobs When did grocery stores all turn into Wal-Mart? At least they never offered to carry out or push buggies in a WalMart. Currently I am looking at 6 abandoned carts and 2 employees sitting in uniform in front of the store. Doing nothing read more

Went to this kroger about 8 O'clock last night August 23rd 2022. And was in total disbelief of what I found with in the produce department. This department if I told you everything was either out of stock or Out of date, Some of the fruit was even unwrapped like the watermelon was just sitting inside the bin all of the fruit hats slime and residue on them. what happened to the fruit being fresh I asked a million times for help for someone to try and help me even Spoke with the manager he did apologize but that is totally unacceptable you're here to serve customers and give them fresh vegetables and fruit. I enjoy this store for a number of reasons. Always cleanly, great offers for card members that often times will beat any other grocery, and a bakery that is friendly and fresh every time I come in. I really like this Kroger location. It's a bit of a drive from where I live, but it's worth it to me because of the size, cleanliness, and organization of the store. I've been on a weekend, even mid-day, and the crowd wasn't all too crazy which really impressed me. I love being able to go in and out of a grocery store - I often times go in with a list of what I need for recipes I'd like to experiment. I was able to find all those things here and the thing I like most about shopping at Kroger, is I get points that gives me $ off gas! Win win. read more

I am pretty sure this store has no management whatsoever. The staff are so poorly trained and useless when it comes to needing assistance. I deliver for an unnamed grocery delivery company and this store is so incompetent at handling curbside orders. You can pretty much count on sitting there for an hour or more. ( 2 hours at times) I had to call customers and tell them that I cannot complete the order because I cannot sit at Kroger all night. And then recommend that they order from H-E-B and never shop at the store. This isn for Kroger and the company (shipt) that fills there delivery. I've ordered twice from Kroger. The first time the order was 3 hrs late and when it was delivered they didn't knock or ring the doorbell. My frozen food was no good! The second time the order had been canceled but a order arrived and again no knock or doorbell (again sat outside and spoiled). When I called Kroger they said they had no control and they offered to give me a credit for the delivery. I won't be using them again so I told them not to bother. H-E-B has been much better to deal with and takes responsibility for the errors and what they do. Don't bother using Kroger as shipt is there to screw it up read more

After hearing good things about this Kroger's florist, we wanted to order corsages and boutonnieres for school dances. This is our third time trying to buy crosage and or boutonnieres for school dances at the florist section. Every single time we go in, they claim that they are always booked up..no matter how long of a lead time we give them. They then would steer us to the fake flower ones and try to sell a simple fake bouttonnier for approx. $28..we left and went to HEB and they were able to make it with fresh flowers on the day we need every single time. We now know not to even go to this Kroger if we need anything for dances. read more

In Spring, Texas, a woman ran into her local Kroger grocery store to grab a few things and get on with her list of other errands to run. However, things didn't go as simple as she hoped when she was told to leave because she disgusted a particular employee who took one look at the shopper and said she was sick of people like her. Meredith, who didn't feel comfortable releasing her last name, had checked everything off of her shopping list and headed to the register. As she put her items on the conveyor belt, she was informed that she shouldn't even bother since the cashier wasn't going to ring her up. The employee said that Meredith needed to get out of the store because the shopper's shirt was a slap in the face, and the clerk "was doing everything she could not to cry." This wasn't the first time Kroger has turned away a paying customer for the same reason as Meredith, and like the others before her, she wasn't going to let it slide. Wearing a blue t-shirt that said "Police Lives Matter, All Lives Matter," Meredith was showing support for her hero husband who puts his life on the line daily, serving and protecting the "offended" clerk and the other citizens of Spring, Texas. I wish I could give it a negative amount of stars. Went tonight after work to pick up a few things. I am told the door I want to enter through closes at 8pm, it is only 7:45pm. So I am tired but go to the appropriate doors. I hurry and pick up my items and go to the checkout. I start placing my items on the belt. The checker tells me it will just be a moment as she goes to the checkout stand behind her. I think she must have to grab some paper towels to clean up a mess. Imagine my surprise when the two baggers, the male checker and my checker all stand around the male checker's phone to watch Something on it. Wow. That's great training, everytime I go to this Kroger it is the same. The employees would rather text on their phones than help the customers. I won't be back anytime soon. I work by an HEB and live by a totally different HEB, I will spend my hard earned money art one of those stores. read more

The staff here, especially in the bakery department, is very friendly and welcoming. It's always nice to walk into a grocery store where people aren't scowling at you, isn't it? Trust me, I've gone to grocery stores like that and it's always been a super sad shopping experience! :( Aside from the sweet staff, this is your average Kroger. If you like to shop in the all-natural and organic section, this location doesn't have as much of a selection as the Kroger on Champion Forest. For organics and produce, I go to the Champion Forest location, but I always stop by here for waffles, potato chips, etc.-- the basic stuff. I also quite like their sushi if I am in a hurry. I can be a sushi snob, but I can also appreciate the convenience of pre-made rolls and sashimi. read more

I love this grocery store! Compared to the stores in Miami, this is good. The produce I purchased were super fresh and ripe, not horribly under ripe and distgusting like the stores in Miami. The staff seemed nice. I just know that this is way better than Miami lol. It does lack a lot of the seasonings I use, but I will keep in mind that this will probably be the store to come to for fresh produce for I like it. read more

The location is nice and the upgrades were needed. Often times the meat that is labeled in date smells terrible when you open the package. I have had to return more times than I can count. Management treat their staff horribly. This is coming from a customer that has heard the way 2 managers in particular address their staff. They talk to them like they have half a brain and it's embarrassing. They also frankly appear to also be sulking/pouting about being at work. Not a very friendly atmosphere. I do not expect to be necessarily greeted with a smiling face but a simple "hey how are you" would be great. Sometimes when you say hi the cashiers do not even respond, what gives? read more

Staff here has always been friendly and helpful. On the evening of Friday 4/10/2015 at about 2200 hours I managed to leave my phone in my basket. At about 2300 hrs I returned to the store after discovering it was missing. The manager and staff were very friendly and helpful. Luckily a employee found my phone in the basket and secured it. I only came here for one item. That item was in one of those clear boxes that are magnetized and you have to have a special magnet key to unlock. The only night cashier tonight was a gentleman named Seth. When I asked him for assistance in opening the container he said he did not know how to unlock it and to find a different container that had a grey bottom instead of a black bottom. So I went back and there was no grey bottom container that contained the item I wanted. When I let him know there was no other one he told me that there was nothing he could do because he does not know how to unlock the container that contains what I need. I asked him if there was any management at the store and he told me they had all left and then I asked him if he could at least give it a try to unlock the container. He did not even know where the magnet key was to unlock the container. How do you have an employee that doesn't know where your magnet keys are? And at the end of the night he didn't even try to unlock it for me I had to do it myself. Believe when I say I will not be returning to this location. read more

I was there at a busy time. I got behind a family in line; they were taking forever! 2 people got behind me and both had lanes opened for them. At the end of the families epic check out they wanted to argue with the checker about $2.00. I almost lost my cool. The manager noticed my frustration and walked by my cart and told the checker to give me the rotisserie chicken for free. I thanked him. If he knew it was for my dog he night not have offered. This store is horribly mismanaged. Restocking has always been a problem. Some sector managers in confidence say that they get no support from the main managers. I went there to purchase a batch of Marie Callendar's 15 oz microwave meals, while on sale, but they were mostly sold out. So while checking out I mentioned this problem to the checker, and he claimed to have given me a rain check on 40 of these Marie Callendar's meals. A week later I went back to get them and the Store Manager said that my receipt was NOT VALID as a rain check. IT DOESN'T GET MUCH WORSE THAN THIS!!! GROSS INCOMPETENCE REIGNS HERE. read more

I have shopped at this store for years, I was there last Sunday to do my Thanksgiving shopping, I along with several other customers were searching for frozen pumpkin pies; there were none available, not even an empty space where they might have been! I spoke to the manager and another employee, they were really not that concerned but the manager went to check, he came back after I checked out and was waiting by the door, he stated that there were 70 in stock but he couldn't find them. They took my name and number, said they would call when they found them and he offered me the pie at no cost, said he appreciated my patience. Well, I'm glad that I didn't wait for the phone call, glad I went to HEB and bought my pie because they never called and it is now 5:00 pm the day before Thanksgiving; it's not about the pie; it's just when I tell someone that I'm going to do something, I follow thru.
