While in town for vacation I decided to stop in to get some vittles. Walking in is the sushi display with a sushi chef making sushi. Kroger is like Stop N Shop and Shop Rite so when look around you will see a variety of colorful produce and groceries. I saw the Grandma's Cookie, my favorite so I got some along with fruits, groceries of course, and coconut water and drinking water. Nothing much to expect from a shopping excursion. read more

Y'all, this is my normal Kroger & I am soooo sad!! This WAS the go-to 7 yrs ago. Today, not so much! Did I get what I needed, YES! Was it warm & fuzzy, NO- don't need that at 8:30 AM, but what I DO NEED is a well-stocked, clean store that I don't have to feel like I am in a freaking maze to get around random objects left behind by (seemingly) lazy employees... Just look at the pics & count the number of crap I had to work around... rediculous!! Coupons used to be mailed each week- not any more! Loyalty means nothing. Their CASH BACK on the App never is accurate & the wifi at this Deen Crossing location is a JOKE!! Can't check the app or get any signal in this store AT ALL- SO FRUSTRATING!!!! By far the worst experience, Saturday 7pm they are under staffed and had kids on the floor complaining while bagging then walking away while customers awaiting in line. Had to bag $300+ worth of groceries myself. No idea where their ethics, manners and reason for employment went with these people. Terrible attitudes beyond words can describe. Frozen aisle for pizza has huge stands in the middle of the aisle, 2 carts cannot get through. read more

This is the Russell Ridge Kroger and it's A-OK. It's located in the Russell Ridge shopping center on Buford Dr in between I-85 and 316 in Lawrenceville. I stopped by this Kroger to pick up a few groceries after playing golf nearby at Collins Hill Golf Club, about five minutes away. This is one of the nicer Kroger stores I've been to. Outside, there's a Kroger Fuel Center with eight pumps. Inside, this Kroger has a Starbucks, free Wi-Fi, sushi and hot soups to-go, a full-fledged bakery and deli, cheese shop, olive bar, and more. In this sense, it reminds me of a nicer Publix or the Kroger "Fresh Fare" store in Buckhead (Disco Kroger) because of the elevated departments/offerings. It was busy during our Saturday afternoon visit. The produce looked fresh, the store was clean, and there were lots of employees working. It was easy to find what I was looking for despite it being my first time in this particular store. One thing I like about this Kroger is it has a lot of small shopping carts. Those don't exist at my neighborhood Kroger (Howell Mill). I picked up a couple 42-ounce tubes of Quaker Oats Quick 1-Minute Oats for $3.99 each (good price) and some bananas for $0.59 per pound (not the best price, but I can live with it). I used a self-check-out kiosk and it was fast. I was able to self-scan my Kroger Plus Card on my phone which I haven't been able to do in the past, so that was nice. We were in and out in a matter of minutes. This Kroger has restrooms available for customer use. I'd come back. read more

This Kroger is a horrible place to buy groceries. They never have but one checkout lane open and a self checkout with lines out the wazoo. Who has the patience to stand in those kinds of lines? Where is the customer service? Quite a few times I have gone in to get something, look at the checkout lines wrapping around the store, and I turn around and leave. Many times I have gotten items only to see the never ending checkout lane, so I put the items back and leave. This is not Costco where I expect lines, this is Kroger, and they have lost business. I literally drive several miles further to Publix or Ingles just to avoid this kind of experience. HIRE MORE CASHIERS!! That is the ONLY way they can get my business again. read more

What happened to my local Kroger?! About three years back I really got fed up with this store (dying produce, crappy deli, unprofessional employees) and completely wrote them off my list. While my husband still shopped there, I became a loyalist to Publix. I needed to pick up some chicken on the way home from work today to grill (finally 80 degree weather!) and turned in to Kroger to avoid a longer drive to Publix, my usual go-to store. Much to my surprise I found the Kroger renovated and carrying things I was excited to try! This often happens in Publix making my bill twice what I originally came in for. So I came in for 4 chicken breasts and 30 minutes later had built an antipasto plate (marinated mushrooms, roasted garlic cloves, sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil, pappardelle peppers stuffed with prosciutto, and olive-sized mozzarella balls) from their fresh bar; found some fig paste, a jar of Cornichons, and 3 fresh baked Italian rolls for $1; then three good sized freshly pre seasoned chicken quarters for $4, and 2 containers of fresh tortellini and 2 fresh containers of marinara. If I had been at Publix, those items plus my other impulse buys would have cost me well over $80, but I got out of Kroger with a $50 bill. I LOVE these upgrades! I didn't make it to the other half of the store (not sure if that was redone) and one bad experience may send me back to Publix, but for now, I'm happy to say Kroger is back on my shopping list. read more

I have shopped at this store since the day it opened. I have never had any complaints but today I was in the LONG self checkout line, which I am used to, and a young Kroger clerk came up and cut in front of everyone and went to a checkout spot. I understand that she MIGHT be on a lunch break, but she never even hesitated and it left a very bad taste in my mouth. I tried to find a manager to at least air my complaint, but that was fruitless. I was not going to name her or throw her under the bus, but I would think that their training would include that CUSTOMERS have priority. I am NOT a "Karen" but the optics of this were very negative. read more

We moved recently and I was happy to find this store, 4 min away from my house. I had a great service experience with the baking department that went above and beyond to satisfy my request. Cannot say the same thing about the Starbucks employee who didn't even bothered to say good morning back to me when I placed my order. Kroger gets a minus for allowing these rude people on their premises. read more

This Kroger is not far from my school and close to my friends. I was early and decided to stop by Kroger. It is by far, the cleanest Kroger I've ever been in. The bathroom is spotless too! I was impressed. Maybe I came at a good time? I dunno, it was a little pass noon. The store has so much to offer, besides the hot food, sushi, deli, Starbucks, etc. I mainly came to get some mints and orange juice to go. The self checkouts are always nice! This Kroger is disgusting. I've bought many things here that weren't good: ground beef tasted and smelled STRANGE (when I used it the same day I bought it), cereals and crackers have been stale. And broccoli was really nasty once (again, using it the same day I bought it). They just have no quality control, apparently. Worse yet, I complained to Kroger corporate and didn't even get a response. Keep it classy, Kroger. We shop solely at Publix now - which, granted, isn't far (just about a mile and a half down the road), but Kroger is literally probably 1/8 mile from our house. read more

Went to this location on 8/18 between 5:20am-5:30am. I went to purchase a disinfectant wipe and 2 lysol sprays. Went to the self check out and immediately the clerk started screaming and had a nasty ass attitude while reaching into my bag saying that I'm allowed 1 of each. I told her that the sign said 2 per household but she kept on screaming. So I pointed to her the sign where the lysol spray was located but there's a sign way at the bottom where no one can see it saying 1 disinfectant per household. So I told her why was the lysol above where the sign says 2 per household. She's still have a nasty ass attitude saying that the employee stocked it in the wrong place. Note there was an employee already in the ailse stocking freight. So i said well I'm getting the bigger lysol since I can only get one. She then continues to scream with her nasty ass attitude saying that I already have one up at checkout. I had to tell this old fart that the one I got is bigger than the one at checkout. Oh she had this dumb ass look. On top of that she had to void the items off the screen in which she had to do it 3 times since she couldn't remember her password then decided to use her scan card. I'm an African American male and I felt she was being racist because all she had to poiletly say was that only one per household. I dont know who pissed in her coffee but this location is by far a racist location. I will never and I mean never go to this location again!!!!! read more

They just lost us to Publix, feels like they are playing games with their pricing and ripping customers off. Used to be when a sale said something like 4 for $10 you could buy just one item for $2.50 Happened to us twice recently where we were charged the "non-sale" price for not buying the right quantities. First time we got home already so I let it go. Yesterday it was a bottle of wine and I caught it while walking over to the door so went straight to the refund counter to ask if I could either refund and buy again or if they would let me get two more bottles to qualify for the sale price. They just said nope sorry no refunds or exchanges on alcohol. I can understand that but they could have at least allowed me to get two more at the sale price especially since it was due to some kind of abrupt policy change on their end. Bad customer service, and to make matters worse it took them 20 minutes to help the three people in front of me. read more

This Kroger is old, poorly-lit, closed-in, and scuzzy. I've been in Krogers with much better floor plans and state of upkeep than this one. The produce is rarely refreshed when it should be, but that's a problem endemic to most Krogers I've been in. read more

I prefer to shop at Kroger over Publix when I do my "full service shopping". Although this location is a couple more miles away from my apartment, the prices are better and the selection is better. They have a great health food selection! read more

I prefer to shop at Publix over Kroger, any day. I find that the employees at this Kroger location don't care about there customers, when it comes to customer service. You always have to use a 'plus card', in order to get any sort of discount. Today, my mother's vehicle was damaged by another customer, in the parking lot. Granted, we aren't living in the best times, but for someone to be so ignorant and selfish to damage one's property and fell the need to not be considerate enough to leave a note, to many people driving erratically, to failing to stop at a stop sign on the way out, is enough for me to never give Kroger another dime again. I get much better service at Publix and there seems to be a better crowd of classy people shopping at most Publix stores. read more

I like the location of this Kroger. However, the Kroger in Dacula is by far superior so I frequent that one rather than this particular location. I live right in the middle of each location so it works out pretty good for me. Also, the customer service at the Russel Ridge Kroger is not the best. They have done a pretty decent job updating the inside of this store over the past several years but it is still a little old/outdated. They do have a good selection and the store is clean. All in all, it is a pretty solid Kroger but nothing to write home to mom about. read more

Project to remodel this Kroger has gone on for over a year. But even the new faucet in the bathroom was not done right. Your hands hardly fit under the faucet to rinse, the holes in the counter don't connect to a trash can, the supplies in the bathroom are always low to non existant, and paper dispenser broken. A sushi bar was recently added. Would like the fda to come inspect the food. So many items have been dropped by baggers. Even employees at Starbucks need more training, one managed to double charge my card, and prepared me a cool lime refresher with old brown limes! Kroger has a long way to match Publix competition. They try but it's just not done right:( read more

This Kroger is nasty. The employees could care less about anything. They removed the regular door by the self-checkout lanes and made it an emergency door that they continually block with shopping carts full of stuff (major fire/safety violation). The checkout is confusing as "sale" items ring up at regular price than are deducted at the end. It's confusing enough when it does that, but elderly folks struggle with it. Kroger needs to change the policy so it's less confusing. I have caught a number of times that items did not ring up at the sale price. For years they do NOT keep the frozen section stocked. There will be items not stocked for weeks. This store just smacks of laziness. I'll just go back to Publix or Walmart. read more

I don't know why I shop here, the service is HORRIBLE. Sonia in produce have the WORST attitude I ever seen. I hate to ask for help at this store because you are always likely to get nothing but attitude and eye rolling in return even from the managers. It has come to the point where I rather spend a little more money and shop at Publix a few lights up from this store and this Kroger's is across the street from my house but a I rather shop somewhere else. read more

Appears this is a grade 2 store. That translates into a lower grade of produce, meat that is grade select B and seafood at or very near expiration. This is indicative of the different versions of Kroger stores in the area, compare stores in Dacula to Lawrenceville and it becomes obvious. We live almost across the street from this store and the general consensus of our 482 homes is visit Publix, shop Aldi for better savings and make the trip to Assi for huge variety of fruit and produce. Store management and their company philosophy has driven up prices, decreased the level of customer service and driven out name brands which have been replaced by the inferior store brands. read more

This is specific to the Kroger Pharmacy on Buford Drive. What a nightmare. Go elsewhere if you value your sanity. The rude woman behind the counter is bad enough, but just try to get a shingles vaccine out of them. Sure, I got the first shot just fine. But they did not warn me it would be next to impossible to actually get the booster shot. First call I get about it, with no explanation, is that "we have some in, if you get here in the next hour I can save one for you". OK, but what if I can't drop everything and run in at a moment's notice?? When I stop by the store, I at least get an explanation, but one I should have gotten much much earlier--the supplier is rationing the booster shots. OK, so I get a call last night, assuring me no, I do not have to rush in, they will save it until today. Nine AM bright and early I show up. Can I get my booster? No, the system is down. We have no idea when it will be up and will just have to call you. What a joke. Seems I'll live with a relatively useless initial shot of shingles, but no booster to get me some memory B-cells. Go elsewhere until they get their act together in communicating this stuff. read more

This kroger STILL never fails to disappoint. They still run sales (esp so in organic deptmnt) and NEVER HAVE THE ITEM(s) IN STOCK. Do not buy any cheese from the expensive gourmet section. IT ALL TASTES AND SMELLS HEAVILY OF LAUNDRY DETERGENT. You may not notice til u get home oddly enuf. I told cst service rep (who blew me off) and that same day it just so happened the entire back of store by toilets smelled SO STRONGLY like what i was describing to them. Also, MAKE SURE to check the dates on your products. I have OFTEN found (and purchased ) products a year out of date!!! They also put things on sale then fail to keep it stocked for the ENTIRE length of the sale. All this and then you have to listen to security checks in section blah blah for the WHOLE time you are shopping both when it is busy and when you are one of few in the store. AnnoYingly tacky. I've been going to this Kroger just because it's close by otherwise I wouldn't be coming here. The employees are lazy and more interested in gossiping than attending to their customers who are only looking to get out of there as fast as possible. This is my first review on a place because I'm normally a very patient person. A cashier named Bruce was too busy laughing and talking with another employee to give me back my change. He hands the change to a friend of mine and for what reason? My sister tells him he should pay more attention to customers and he replies "You need to calm down lady, get out of here". I always feel like the person behind me in line is on my rear after I check out buying over 100 dollars in groceries it would be nice to be able to get the bags into my buggy myself a little organized before the next customer rushes me. The card swiper is too close to the next person in line. The cashier should not start scanning the next customer until you have put everything into your buggy. read more

This store is poorly-managed and customer service is terrible. Their new re-organized shelf plan makes no sense and many items have been removed with the re-organization. The availability of organic items has decreased and many such items are now shelved with the regular products instead of in the organic section. Retail prices have been increased with the re-organization. Kroger tells me I have been one of their best customers up till now.....but no longer. read more
