$7.99 choice rib eye steak! 11/19/2025

Great food! This is a top tier Kroger. Easily the nicest one I have ever been in. Well lit and well stocked and you can get crazy good deals sometimes! Like $7.99 choice rib eye!

FILTHY patient waiting area. It STINKS of body odor & NASTY men's cologne! Clean up YOUR PHARMACY KROGER!

This is the WORST pharmacy I have used in my 50 years as an adult. They NEVER have my prescriptions right. Pharmacist Loh is HORRIBLE! He is RUDE, not helpful AT ALL & NEVER is able to help customers. Kroger needs to CLOSE this pharmacy. It reflects poorly on the Kroger brand.

Bagel and lox with onions and capers from Kroger.

I gave this store a lone star review a couple of years ago for a variety of reasons. But, wait, I have good news. At least for this visit. I visited the Las Colinas Kroger store mid morning to pick up a few products, including capers for a special breakfast: bagel and lox. We couldn't find capers in the pickle area. No, it's not the end of the world, but it would be a tasty touch. I asked a young lady dressed like an employee if she worked for the store. She said, "Actually, I'm in pharmacy, but happy to help." She walked me to the customer service area, got the location information, and took me to where I could find the product. Her name is Courtney. She's impressive because she went the extra step literally. This doesn't erase any bad experiences you and I may have had with this store, but it's nice to share something positive. I hope management will recognize her in some way. And with H-E-B just announcing their new Las Colinas store, they have new competition ahead -- and would benefit from team members like Courtney.

All their isles had shelves stocked with a great varieties of almost every product imaginable. Loved this location! Store was clean, employees helpful and a good value. Visited several times during my stay.

    ...and more empty shelves...

Perhaps this is more indicative of where we are headed as a country instead of just specific to this particular Kroger, so I won't take any points away for the empty shelves in these recent photos. I'll only mention it's alarming since unless something changes, it seems like the worse is yet to come. I cannot even fathom being a parent with a child that relies on baby formula and not being able to find it. Seeing that shelf totally empty each visit is sad to me and I don't even need formula for my family. The 3-star review is for "everything else". The largest issue I have with this Kroger is the checkout process. Literally every time I go there, at least one product rings up wrong or a coupon doesn't work for some inexplicable reason. And don't roll your eyes at me when I complain, even if it's "only" 80 cents. If I chose a product based on the sale price, even if it were 10 cents wrong I am going to point it out. My assumption is if you get enough of us complaining over 80 cent errors maybe you'll get your act together and be more accurate in the future. I also don't appreciate when I OFTEN see other customers at this specific location reach up and over the seafood counter glass to point at what they want and your seafood workers say nothing about it. The glass is there for a reason, I don't want some hairy-a$$ arm hanging over the fish that I'm about to buy!!!

As far as appearances go, one of the nicer grocery stores in Irving. Unfortunately, it's a pretty inefficient one. On almost every visit I have had to wait 5+ minutes in the checkout line because the cashiers and baggers are just not productive here. For the most part it's your regular old reliable Kroger. They recently added this new section of pre-frozen, pre-cooked self-serve dinners that you scoop by the pound into little tubs. They selection of these types of meals is really tasty and fairly affordable.

Mt Tam is usually $20 in San Francisco.

Lately I've been going in every month ordering a cake out of the bakery and I want to give a huge shout out to Miss Hannah who has not disappointed one cake thus far! This store is super clean and I will tell you that this store is worth the price point because everything is immaculate. The customer service in the lines are always great. The managers are always out in front ensuring that everything goes smooth and everything is always fresh! The bakery goods are so delicious. They have donuts rolls anything you name it, from the sushi chef that's there every day to put out fresh sushi, which I see him doing all the time! To their chicken Mondays that are on sale each Monday and there's a different price point, but it is a lot of chicken for a little amount of money! And on holidays, you will see them smoking ribs right out in front for sale and even giving some nice samples away as they grill! I love Elizabeth. She's an amazing manager every time she sees me. She comes up and gives me a hug! And they also do some winetasting on weekends here, some Saturdays, and Sundays! All in all always a good vibe, always a higher in clientele, and the parking lot is always put together perfectly, so shout out to the entire Team! And if it comes to any meat that you may need, they have everything from seafood to beef pork all in the back you name it they got it so if you're looking for a nice clean establishment to shop at this is it right here.

I have never actually been to this Aldi before, I was just in the area. There isn't one near me, so I tend to stop by random ones if I am then going home. One thing I LOVE and constantly check their ads for...the organic grass fed ground beef. They don't always have it on sale, and a lot of times you have to buy a 4lb pack, but it is FANTASTIC. If you don't buy into the grass fed organics, that's fine, leave it for the rest of us. If you find it for $3.99...stock your freezer. Then make meatballs. Or burgers. Something that shows off the meat. I don't eat a lot of red meat at home but this is the only ground beef I buy. Today, I found it in single pound packages. I tend to freeze them in packs of 3/4 pounds, so I am not wasting food. Other than the beef, I love their cheeses. Score one for goat cheese under $2. Baguettes, vegetables, and their packs of microwavable rice which are perfect for meal prepping. Also at Christmas I got my sister a wine advent calendar here, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Go, Aldi. Bring a quarter for a buggy (which you'll get back), and your own reusable bags. I bring my tote, it says totes ma goat..and has a goat on it. Or, pay for grocery bags.

Then she took out the cat food cans out of my box and recklessly threw those in a cart one by one, smashing other items. At this point there was only one lady behind me, so she did it intently. There was also no extra cart available close to her as is the usual case. My elderly mom was with me and started rushing trying to get out the cans back into the box while holding it in the air not to hold the line which made me ask the cashier that she created so much work for me instead of leaving things in the box as all the other cashiers usually do, to which she again rudely answered: it's your job to organize your items, and you don't understand! Afterwards she refused to give me her name and said: I am the manager. Well, the cashier's cheque did have her name on it. If she was the manager in a store that's usually very clean and friendly, and this time there was a big mess on the floor in the produce section, then maybe the store needs a different manager. Also, while checking us out, she was casually talking with another worker instead of asking him to either clean the mess or help bring an extra cart, etc. as she stated there were only 2 workers. I know the manager from before was an excellent cashier and manager and always respectful which reflected on the store quality.
